Good chiken, a bit expensive. Half chiken is small, hot spices is good but it's only in the skin. Want to try midnight burger. read more

Delicious! Needed a place for food after 10PM, and after the drunkard outside the hotel scared us away from the place next door, we wandered into the mall (is that what they're called in the UK too?) and found this place still open. I got the Chicken Liver special, because I haven't had those in a while, and boy were they good. I got the medium spice, which may have been a bit much for me, but the Lemon Herb sauce cut the spice enough to really enjoy these. It was a bit pricey ... again the exchange rate (found the DC menu in the states ... just changed £ to $). Anyway, to agree with another post, we'll trade you a few of our restaurants for a Nando's in Hoboken/NYC. read more
I know you have migrated across the Atlantic to Washington D.C. Why don't you spread your wings and cluck your way to Chicago, please? BTW, why is Nando's categorized as Mexican? Shouldn't it be Portuguese or South African? Speaking of Mexican food, I don't recall seeing a single Mexican restaurant while I was living in the UK. Dear United Kingdom, I am willing to trade two of our Chipotles for one of your Nando's. read more

When you don't make any plans or reservations for Valentines Day, and you're wandering around in the biting cold - starving - where do you go? Nando's of course. I don't think for the life of me, I will ever live this down. Yes, the food was half decent but it was hardly haute fuckin cuisine. I'd give five stars, if it was just on the basis, the company I had on this particular occasion was exceptional, and the girl didn't punch me in the neck. Which to be fair, I would have deserved. At the end of the day. Life is about learning lessons, and take one from me, if you're hungry on Valentines Day, or if there's a chance you might *get* hungry on Valentines Day, make a reservation a day or two before hand, just so that whenever you see or hear the word: Nandos, you don't have the lingering sense you're just really at the core of your being a complete fucking douchebag - for the rest of your life. It's getting three stars, because there is a time and a place for it. But never again for me, because I don't think I could face it, without feeling like a complete and utter clown. read more

This place is way too expensive. After spending 24 pounds, we realised that we hardly had any food for a young couple. I would suggest that rather than visiting this place, please walk a bit around in the Gate and you will find much cheaper and better restaurants. If you want even better and cheaper food, get out of the Gate and go into Low Frier Street, China Town or Citygate which are all hardly 100 metres away and you will find much better, tastier, healthier and cheaper food there. read more

Reliable, tasty, well made chain restaurant food with lotsa flavour. Good value. Wish this place would open up in the US as it would do very well. BTW it's Portugese not Mexican! read more

Not my favorite Nando's as service was incredibly slow, which is not an issue I typically run into with Nando's! We did have a party of six and maybe it took a while to get all the orders together, but we were waiting ages. Also, oddly, the 1/4 chicken seemed smaller than it was when I'd gotten it before, but maybe just my imagination? Still, the lemon-herb chicken was juicy and delicious (mix up the garlic and hot sauce, and you're in for a treat) and I love the rice and peas with a side of halloumi. Reliable and affordable. read more

I thought this place was persian? Anyways, whatever it is, it's great food. I LOVE the sauces. If there's anything really, the chicken is good but the sauces make it great. Good place for a semi-cheap alternative. read more

This is my favourite place to eat as the menu is great as well as the overall service that is received is outstanding. The overall layout is fantastic, with a lively atmosphere and a greeting attitude from the staff you will always feel welcome here. The best part about this restaurant is the low menu prices that are not seen in places such as TGI Fridays and many other places. read more

This is my favourite restaurant to eat at in town, it is cheap and affordable and the food is great. This Portuguese style restaurant is very upmarket and stylish and the service that is received is of a fantastic standard. It is a perfect place to come if you are wanting a nice quite, tasty meal. read more
