Nando's at Coliseum Leisure Park is located in the retail park right next to Cheshire Oaks, while I would prefer them to be located within the Outlet mall, it's only a short walk from Cheshire Oaks to here and Nando's still call this "Nando's Cheshire Oaks" due to the proximity. The location is good for those shopping at Cheshire Oaks or Coliseum Leisure Park, although the latter just seems so miserable, dead and almost abandoned. I've visited this particular Nando's now, and standards are OK, I've certainly had better in a Nando's, yet I've also had worse. The interior is fairly comfortable, and there's a good number of booths. I did find the food expensive for what it is, as of October 2024, my meal came to £15.20, which I find to be rather expensive for fast casual, and that doesn't include extras such as drinks and Perinaise. The prices also seem to be rising out of control, even in the current climate, they seem to be putting their prices up every couple of months, much more frequently than rivals. Despite being a chicken restaurant, they don't offer regular mayonnaise, so you'll have to choose between their vegan alternative or pay extra for their Peri-naise (mayonnaise mixed with peri-peri sauce). I ordered a Medium Chicken Butterfly with peri chips and mash. Despite ordering the peri chips, they didn't season the chips themselves as Nando's usually does, which I found odd, they just served my food with the sachet of salt on the side. I don't know why, but I always find it tastes better out of the shaker. The chicken had nice flavours but was a little overcooked for my liking, and the mash did require some mashing with my fork as it just looked and tasted microwaved. The staff were friendly, and we shared a joke about the fact I visit often enough to remember my Nando's card number and service was reasonably fast in receiving the food. 3* - OK, The staff were friendly and the food was fine, but I've certainly had a lot better and wouldn't rush back to this specific Nando's location in the future. read more

Nando's is a good place to go after visiting the cinema on the Cheshire Oaks Park. The food is good (even for us vegetarians) and the atmosphere is good too. The décor is a little shabby although it's difficult to tell if this is deliberate or not! We have experienced long queues (you have to queue up to order) but this is too be expected as it is likely to be busy at peak cinema times. The restaurant is fairly large so you shouldn't have a problem getting a table and the fact that you can choose how spicy you want your food is a really good idea (you can even have it plain if you don't do spicy). On the drinks side there are all the usuals but I would recommend the peach drink which really refreshes you and is a little different from the usual fizzy soft drinks. The Cheshire Oaks branch of Nando's doesn't seem to offer the bottomless fat free frozen dessert which is the highlight of other branches, but perhaps they have rectified this now. This is a must for all you chicken lovers out there. I love the concept of ordering how hot you'd like your chicken and then waiting to see if you really can handle the heat. For all you brave folks out there, you can add peri peri sauces on top which range from garlic, mild, very hot and extra hot. The platters are quite popular and perfect for sharing between a family. You have a choice of side orders to choose from like chips, sweetcorn, coleslaw salad. The atmosphere is simple and rustic. I like Nando's chicken, it's good value and tasty and really worth a go. What I don't like is the setup - it's a sit down restaurant but you have to order like in McDonalds. I'm just fussy though. Other than that it is a really nice restaurant and was clean and tidy with friendly staff on my last visit. read more

This place is very popular on the Coliseum. Good food, reasonably priced, and quick which is good if you've got a film to catch. You select what you want and then go to the till to order. The staff will help you out with which level of hotness to go for! They will even let you try it before deciding. Personally, I have it plain! The chicken pittas are lovely. They offer free refills for soft drinks and there is a good choice of alcoholic drinks too. The fat free frozen yoghurt is really nice as dessert. Loads of parking and the cinema is just next door. The only complaint I have with Nandos is the set up where someone has to order at the till after sitting down. Apart from that, the place is fun with great tasting food. The emphasis is on chicken, but there are beef and veggie options as well. The atmosphere is fun and noisy in the evening and there are no issues with bringing children in or eating chicken with your fingers!!! The range of spices go from lemon and herb to extra hot, so there is something for everyone. Parking is free and very close. This is close to Cheshire Oaks designer outlet and is a great place to have a meal after shopping! read more
