I had to cancel a few hours before appointment a few weeks ago and owner was very understanding. My…read moreson came here and asked for a mid taper. Hair longish curly on top. He tried to show Charlie a video and he didn't really even watch. He left with a high taper and didn't even cut top at all or blend sides well or line up anything. It also wasn't even when hair was pulled up, kinda messy (see pics). I had pre-paid and pre-tipped ahead. My son didn't feel comfortable saying anything because he didn't want him to make it worse. Definitely not the worst cut he's had but not the best. It's low key $15 anywhere else to just do an undercut which is basically what he left with. The shop itself is clean, busy, has free parking and a dog that greets patrons. Staff are all nice. We arrived early and waited in waiting area and he took him a few minutes early so it's not like he was rushed. Nice guy but probably won't return.

I caller first thing in the morning and scheduled an appointment at 1130. I showed up early at 1120, just in case. A few minutes after I arrived, another person arrived, also with an 1130 appointment with the same barber. It turns out the barber had forgotten to mark me on the schedule and taken a second appointment at the same time. He told me he was going to take the other customer first, and it would only be about 10 minutes. I was going to wait, but after 15 minutes I had to leave because I had other things I needed to get done on my day off. A short while later, I received this text: "Understand that im a barber. Appointments are approximate times. Not set in stone. My chair was open at 11:45. You would have still been finished by 12 noon. I book 30 min Appointments. So you walking out because your vagina was full of sand this morning is highly offensive. And next time you make a face at me will probably not wnd well for you. Have a great day. " I've never in my life seen such a blatant display of unprofessionalism as this, not even considering the low-key threat at the end of the text. I'd like to hope that the barber was just having a very bad day, as I'd never seen this kind of behavior from him before. Even so, I'll be getting my hair cut elsewhere from now on.

Luckily went in there were 4 barbers, 4 open chairs..they must do a round robin for the next clip. Another reason I dont like barbershops is when you get an interview from the barber as to who you are and what you do. Dude just concentrated on the cut, and one of the better ones I've had since my barber retired. In this case, it was just cool to hear the banter between the 4 youngish barbers, my barber was in the military and did a great job on the overgrown mess I walked in with. The area needed a good barbershop for a long time, this is it. Sorry, I don't give 5 stars unless I'm somehow amazed, but would recommend.

I had forgotten to make an appointment one week, and as I neared the end of my bartending shift, I contacted Greg hoping he would see my request in the morning. I've never had a barber confirm an appointment at 1 am before, this guys remarkable. I also appreciate the cleanliness and sanitation of the shop. For $13 the quality cuts are a steal, but I like knowing I'm not getting cheap service. Everything is always clean, organized, and meticulously in its place. This is huge for me, it's consistent too over the year I've been a customer. I've never left unsatisfied with the quality of hair cut I get. Greg is always accommodating, but I appreciate his honest input. If he thinks something won't come out well, he'll tell you. He won't hesitate, he really cares about his customers.
