I have proof that they confirmed my pickup request and picked up the sweater (which I forwarded - along with a pic of the sweater - to a manager that I spoke to on one occasion, Jackie I believe) and for some inexplicable reason it can't be found. Ok, stuff happens. I get it. But then I spent MONTHS trying to get them to address the situation to no avail. Jackie never called me back despite repeated attempts to reach her. No one else got back to me either. They never found the sweater. And they never offered any form of compensation. They just kept dodging/ignoring my calls and giving me the run around until I gave up hope of ever getting a satisfactory resolution. So now I'm here. I won't ever give them my business again. I don't suggest you do either. To make a mistake is totally understandable. To not own it or fix it and just leave a longtime customer hanging is unforgivable. Don't expect Superior to deal with any service issues (which will inevitably happen) with professionalism. Because they won't. The manager/owner of the store came over while I was perusing the fabrics and started to ask me questions about what I was looking for. I was friendly and answered his questions, told him what I was looking for and kept searching. He suggested I look at some books in the back and I followed him. He then put a couple of books in front of me which I flipped through as he continued to look for others. I'm not exactly sure what happened next, but as soon as he found out that I own a drapery workroom and I was not going to be using their services, he abruptly said "I'm not going to sell you any fabric". He then proceeded to grab my arm, put his hand on my back and forcibly escort me out the door of his store. I have worked for decades in customer service and have been awarded many accolades on my ability to go above and beyond the customers' expectations. If I had a good experience in his store I would have referred my clients to them for their fabric needs. Not only did he lose me as a potential customer, but I will be sure to make sure none of my clients are exposed to the rudeness I was subject to.

I was recommended to Martha by Gail at Occasions Bridal shop to alter my " Mother of the bride"…read moreformal dress. I went for several fittings. All in all I think I went 5 times because I was unhappy with how the dress fit. I was told by Gail that I had uneven shoulders and given a shoulder pad to try to solve the problem. The alterations caused the neck to be crooked and the arms were too tight because the way she adjusted the shoulder to reduce the bodice and not the arm. She also took in the dress at the zipper on one side which was obvious because she did not even use the same color thread and the seam showed. Martha was irritated that I kept coming back and was unhappy with the work. I finally gave up and took the dress to an actual professional to fix. I was told they had " butchered" the dress and was shown specifically why it was unfixable. I would not take anything there. I was charged several hundred dollars for a bad job that ruined a $700 dress. Complete waste of about $900. I had to buy another dress last minute off the rack and have an emergency fix, but at least I had a dress that fit properly for the big day.
