We also had a traditional French style breakfast there one morning and had tea/coffee, orange juice, and croissants. The croissants weren't our favorite of the trip, but were definitely solid. We also visited for dinner one evening and got the steak frites, which were also tasty and seasoned well, but not quite cooked as requested (both were under cooked, so I'd recommend asking for a level up). As for the buffet, I tried to sample as much as I could of the quiche, lox, fruits, cured meats & cheeses, and breads & pastries. This also taste really good with the bread! The buns are freshly baked each morning and delivered from the bakery of Eric Kayser. The menu changes daily. That explains all the preparation they do in the morning thus not being able to take orders. Both soups were made to taste perfect with the toasty bun. The soft crispy bread definitely makes a difference!! It completes the creamy thick soup SO MUCH. It's not a runny liquid soup as I thought. It's more like a bread bowl with lightly flavoured and creamy sauce. Together it's really good. Staff is on and off nice. Generally nice people! Customers are not nice.
