when im actually able to get my hands on a meal everything is great. but more times then not when ive come here, she never has everything on her menu. i waited over 20 minute for my food then when I finally asked she told me she had no more of what I ordered.. very upsetting because im vegan for health reasons & this is one of/if not the only spot i can try to get something that's not over an hour away. it's like you have to go before 4pm or you're out of luck! read more

Bronx Terminal Market has a new vegan soul food restaurant in town and it's worth the try! It's located on the 4th floor, in the food hall, next to Food Baazar Supermarket. As an ex-pescatarian, I was excited to learn that this vegan eatery offers vegan crab cakes, so I had to try it. Both of the crab cakes were flavorful, descent sized and came with a jerk aioli sauce. The platter comes with a choice of 3 fixins and a piece of cornbread. For the fixins, I ordered the mac & cheese, collard greens and yams. As much as I wanted to loveee the mac & cheese, unfortunately, I didn't. I believe it was the choice of cheeses made to make the mac n cheese, plus it was salty. The yams weren't my favorite either, as well as the cornbread. The yams were very sweet and lacked other ingredients. The cornbread was sweet, dry and lacked moist. Overall, the platter was a 3/5, but the portion size was a 5/5. Next time, I'd like to try their shrimp meal with the other side options they offer. read more
