Cake was just meh. No flavor and not worth the calories at all. I would suggest just going to Dunkin

Truly amazing experience ordering from Sweet Temptations! I initially reached out two weeks ahead…read morefor my cake order, but I was so busy I nearly forgot about it until two days before I needed it...smh ...Nonetheless, they were able to kindly accommodate my custom Leon Kennedy coquette themed order. Truly, they did exactly what I wanted; it looked amazing. Normally, I'm not really a cake person, but I loved the flavor and everything, too. It was so easy ordering with them, picking up and honestly, I feel like pretty affordable too. I paid $90 for my custom order. Overall, amazing experience, highly recommend.

Today I was craving a slice of cake and because this was in my path, I pulled over and went in. They have a number of cakes on display plus various cupcakes both in packs and individual, plus other pastries and holiday cookies and a small variety of cake slices, including tres leches, mocha and chocolate ganache. I chose the chocolate ganache and couldn't wait to try it. It was so moist and delicious and while I'm a chocolate lover, it didn't even need the chocolate icing! I also picked up a package of the holiday cookies as a gift for our neighbors and I saw the perfect cookie tray that I plan to go back and get to take to our holiday party at work this week. I must add that their prices are very reasonable for a bakery too!! I'm glad I stopped in and plan to be back as mentioned.

I've always been disappointed because you guys didn't offer plastic forks or spoons but today surprise surprise... you listened and I got my fork. Which means I was finally able to enjoy my sweet treat in the car!! My daughters also love the lemon so I got them 2 and honestly, I could probably eat all three but I'll be a nice mom and share :-) These reviews make me realize that I eat way too many bundt cakes... oh well!

Banana Pudding Bundt Cake made with Nilla: Nothing Bundt Cakes (NBC) Banana Pudding Bundt Cake was…read morefirst introduced in 2025, but its limited run from 2/16-4/12/26 was my first tasting. Opening the container, the cake itself had a yellow/golden color and a mild vanilla aroma. The official description is "a delectably comforting banana cake, baked with real banana puree, made with real Mini Nilla Wafers and drizzled with vanilla pudding" (and of course their delicious, sweet cream cheese frosting). As usual, the texture is superb, with one of the best aspects of their cakes being the exceptional moistness of them. In this case, I think the pudding and possibly banana puree contributes to the moistness factor as this seemed moister than usual (in a good way). This is where things get a little perplexing. The name "Banana Pudding" makes me think that the pudding would be banana flavored, but according to the description, the pudding is vanilla and the batter is what's made with bananas. My taste buds only got a vanilla flavor from both the pudding and the cake though (zero banana). There was a fair amount of vanilla pudding in the center, but both the pudding drizzled on the exterior and in the center is difficult to see with the naked eye. The Nilla Wafers were crisp, but soft. I can't really hold this against NBC because unless eaten immediately after prep it's almost impossible to keep them crisp. It's also important to note that the wafers were baked throughout the cake and not just the conspicuous one decorating the summit. Unfortunately, the Nilla Wafers do not really contribute anything as the overall flavor is already vanilla and the soft texture gets lost within the moistness of the cake. This one is tough because it was a phenomenal vanilla pudding bundt cake, but it's a terrible banana cake. They really should be calling it Vanilla Pudding Bundt Cake made with Nilla. Doughboy approved as a vanilla pudding cake, avoid if you're hoping for bananas. Doughboy_Food_Reviews My top bundt cakes: 1. OREO 2. Biscoff Cookie Butter 3. Confetti 4. Churro Dulce de Leche 5. I don't know why I'm so out of the loop with what's going on in Lincoln Park, but just like a…read morerestaurant across the street from here, I have NEVER heard of this place. I used to hang out in this area for three years straight for dance class and grad school and just totally overlooked it. It was founded in 1988, and I have no clue when it came to Chicago though so maybe I didn't. I just had a sweet tooth after leaving Blue Sushi across the street (and didn't realize they had a dessert menu). I could not care less about cake, donuts or pie, but I can demolish ice cream and/or candy like nobody's business. The problem is, as a second-round vegan, it's tough for me to find nondairy desserts. I poked my head in here 99.9% sure they were going to say everything was dairy. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had a new Silk chocolate almond milk ice cream. I wish I caught the lady's name that was there today because she was so bubbly and friendly. When I stared at her in confusion after she asked me did I want "Like it, Love It or Gotta Have It," I realized this order was about to be involved. I like the way that the employees mix your toppings around in the ice cream instead of dumping them on top where you end up eating them way too fast. A family member stopped to take my pic while I tasted a spoonful, and I guess I looked extra happy because I caught the lady behind the counter smile as big as I did. Happiness is contagious. Anyway, love the place. Love my almond milk frozen dessert. There's only one table to sit at and someone was there, so I flopped down on a nearby bench and enjoyed my birthday sweet!
