Ordered Crispy Pata, Kare-Kare, Fresh Vegetarian Lumpia, Ube Sago (Boba). Crispy Pata is pork leg with skin & bones boiled till tender & deep fried, crispy, so tasty. Be careful of bones tough on your teeth. Kare-Kare is beef stew with peanut sauce, thick & creamy with Pechay, like Bokchoy. Fresh Vegetable Lumpia is veggies wrapped in crepe like wrapper & rolled. Lumpia is not fried a healthy option. It comes with tasty sauce. Ube sago is more like Ube ice cream shake with Boba tapioca pearls. Ube is purple yam, Also good as a dessert drink. It's so rich, creamy & delicious. Nice ending to a great meal. Needless to say I rolled out of the restaurant with leftovers for my next meal in tow. The restaurant is in Robinson shopping mall with parking available. Free WiFi is available. This is my family's favorite traditional ilongo restaurant. Anyone visiting Iloilo must come & try this restaurant.

They serve tons of refreshing juices like Kalamansi juice, mango juice, fresh coconut juice. They also have special menu that's good for a party of 4 posted all around for a fixed price-all good for sharing. Just ask what portions best suits your party. The crispy pata is very good that has some crunchy skin and that perfect umami saltiness. This is located in the province of Iloilo where my in-laws are from. A very nice, upscale resto and oh, you can bring your own liquor and drink there even if it's a black label. They allow it and will even provide ice if you like that. It's a trendy place, clean, wonderful staff. I liked this place and all the foods we had. If you know your Filipino food like i do? I highly recommend this for a nice special dinner. This is a good place.

The food is cooked fresh. You actually pick your seafood before it is cooked, especially the squid and the crab. Nothing feels rushed, and it shows once the plates hit the table. The fried squid was worth waiting for. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and not greasy. You can tell it was fresh and cooked to order. The crab was the same story: sweet meat, well-seasoned, and not drowned in sauce. We also ordered pancit bihon, scallops with garlic, pork BBQ skewers, and a small cup of rice. The pancit bihon was flavorful and not dry. The scallops were soft and garlicky without being overpowering. The pork BBQ skewers had that classic smoky sweetness and were nicely charred. Service is straightforward and the vibe is casual. This is not fast food. If you come hungry and in a rush, you will get frustrated. If you come expecting fresh, cooked-on-the-spot Filipino food, you will leave happy. This is the kind of place you go to slow down, eat well, and enjoy food that is made properly. Enjoy time with family and talk; it's nice to enjoy your time while waiting for the food.

During the cruise, there is entertainment such live music and dance performances. When I went, the buffet offered a variety of Filipino dishes, including pancit, vegetable Kare Kare and Filipino bbq. There were also several Filipino desserts and complimentary juice, while other drinks such as soda could purchased for an additional fee. While I appreciated the variety of food, I found the flavors to be fairly mild. More than the food, it was the atmosphere and experience that made this cruise memorable. I really enjoyed the scenic river ride and seeing all the lush greenery and tropical vegetation. I also liked the live entertainment. The local music and traditional dance performances were impressive and fun to watch. Some of us tourists even joined in the fun Filipino Tinikling dance. Overall, the Loboc Riverwatch Floating Restaurant was definitely an hour well spent. The inside is spacious and there's even a few tables along the beach/water that's hidden when you first walk in. They have TV's showing some sort of sports game. Staff is friendly and the cooks are good. The menu is long with a mix of Filipino and western food; breakfast, sandwiches & toastis, crepes, soup, pasta, pancit, rice dishes, salads, appetizers, sizzlers, meats, seafood, pizza and desserts. - Mango pancake (120 PHP) - Excellent! First pancake I've had in 6 months. Hit the spot with a great fluffy texture. - Chicken BBQ (200 PHP) - this dish takes about 10-15 minutes to cook. You choose from plain rice, garlic rice or French fries. Went with garlic rice which was delicious. The chicken was tender and well worth the wait. They love their sweet sauces here; the chicken is coated in it. - Banana pancake (90 PHP) - fluffy, airy texture with a good amount of bananas. You know it's good when you don't need to add much syrup. - Spanish omelette (150 PHP) - the omelette was excellent; flavourful and creamy. Inside, there was onion, green and red pepper, mushroom and cheese. Well worth a try, especially for their pancakes!

The picture of the nachos on the sign looked amazing. The drinks came out fairly quick and were delicious. Off to a good start .....then it went downhill. It took :50 to get the nachos and what they sat in front of us was not nachos! It looked like it might be a multi-layer dip but it was not even that. When we tasted it, well...it was canned spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese and ground beef. We asked the waitress and she said that is their nachos. I let her know it was spaghetti sauce and she told us it was the same... tomato and onion like pico and cheese. We talked to the manager and he said that was the nachos, I told him we expected what was in the picture. He asked where we saw the picture. I said on the large menu board out front. He walks over to it looks at it and with a straight face says that is just an example photo of what nachos look like but that ours was definitely the nachos. We paid and left, went down the street to a restaurant that served what they showed. We would never go back. Not just because what they served but that a manager would ignore their own signage. There are too many good places to eat in Moalboal to waste you time and money here. Best part of the experience was having a story of the worst nachos EVER!
