Outside of that, which, frankly, is almost to be expected at a hair salon...I thought it was a great experience. I saw Chrissy for a color, cut and blowdry. I wanted to lighten up my dark brown locks just a shade or two and was adamant that I didn't just want chunks of blonde highlights running through. Chrissy was a thoughtful stylist and took into account what I was asking for. She advised on the color of the highlights and brought out a book so we could choose the toner together. She told me that all the information for each client is stored in their computer system so that in the event you love your hair and you say, "same as last time" - they can mimic it perfectly (or vice versa, if it doesn't suit - you can tell them and they can make changes based on what colors you used last time). I spent over two hours in Chrissy's chair and she had the perfect interpersonal style. Not too chatty, not too quiet. Perfect level of customer interaction. They run a 20% new client discount, so after that, I was charged $138 for all service. I love the color, she didn't take too much off during the trim and I got a great blow-out to boot. The salon itself is bright, clean and well maintained. The owner, Joe, was right there alongside his staff...sweeping floors, taking clients...that's a nice thing to see! He greeted me as I came in and complimented me as I left. This salon definitely has a new, loyal customer!

I go for my "Blondification", Cuts, highlights, trims etc. What I love about Meredith is that she does what I Want and not what she wants. She gives me her honest opinion on whether or not I need a full hair cut or if I can get away with just my bangs trimmed and roots done. Also she recommends when I need highlights or not. So it's NOT just about the money ! I NEVER come out of there unhappy or with Golden Hair (I want Blonde with lots of different colors for dimension and not Brassy.
