Moved to the area about 9 months ago and tried numerous spots. found Nam's maybe 7 months ago and haven't looked back since. The haircut that was asked for was not was received. What fade uses no guard at all? Line up game is weak. Price on board says $12 or $15 for long. Hair was not long. Lady used a pair of shears to trim a few stray hairs--maybe this is why she felt the need to up charge. Cannot say that I expected much walking into this place, so not super disappointed--but not pleasantly surprised either. Cheap basic cut on non textured hair...maybe, but if you hair requires close attention and care avoid this place. The lady closest to the door seemed to have good relationships with her customers and seems like they have plenty of repeat customers, but just not the right place for us. read more

I finally got around to writing this review but a few months ago I was having major issues with my hair. They were able to take me on such short notice and I appreciated them for that. I've always had a problem with having overly thick and heavy hair so when I expressed that to them they knew right away what to do. Jakyoung was extremely attentive to my questions and asks and was very knowledgeable. We had a great conversation and I was particularly impressed by her attention to detail and care. I will definitely be returning not only for the extreme professionalism, but also for the great company. Great back to school hair cut! Nice friendly customer service. We were recommended to come here by our cousin, awesome recommendation. WALK-INS are welcomed. Service was quick, both my son and Husband were in and out within 30 minutes. They use a vacuum with the clippers so my son was happy that there was less hair stuck to him after the cut. I was over doing laundry at the laundry mat next door my husband went over to the barber shop and asked to be placed in line and she said sure your next he said ok I'll be right back I have to load my car when he gets back she put 3 other guys that were walking in when he was walking out in front of him and when he asked if he was next she said no and just threw her hands up like oh well. Quick, cheap ($8), good haircut, exactly what I want. She also uses an electric trimmer on my fade to get near razor short. I have been going there for over a year and I won't go anywhere else if possible. I would recommend this barber to all military if they want to avoid those 20 dollar, by appointment haircuts. I don't like going to a fancy shop and coming out frustrated because I have a line on the side of my head she couldn't get rid of, at least Nam's knows how to give you a low, medium, and high fade or a high and tight. Quick, professional, friendly! I always get a nice shape up from the ladies at Nam's and the price is right. I pay $10 for a very nice fade that comes with a neck massage and pleasant conversation. The shop is clean and I've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes to get into a chair. read more

I don't know where to start. We came because the reviews claim it to be fairly decent. I brought my 3 boys here. There was 3 barbers all available. They all started at the same time. The nice old lady with the short hair was fast and did a good job. The nice old man took his time and did a great job. Then there was the middle aged lady who looked like she been parting with the devil the night before. SMH this woman ... we asked for a clean cut for school. She cut his whole head #1 except for 4 x4 square on the top of his head. She said it's to make it spiked! I said I want it all cut off it looked ridiculous. When she cut the rest off it looked so bad it had to be on purpose. When I told her to cut off the patches she said she cant see my sons patches. and then blamed him for his hair being too thick. Woooooooowwww! If she can't see then why she cutting hair?! Long story short go here if you don't mind 1/3 chance the lady might mess your whole day up! They don't tell you names because they shady so I can only tell you what she looked like. Long nappy headed hung over middle aged Asian lady. I don't know which one of the ladies cut my hair (they don't tell you their names--or at least didn't tell me), but the cut was basically they shaved my head, which I could have done myself.
