I'm writing on behalf of my boyfriend's experience here. I bought him a gift card for a haircut and beard trim. Not only was he unhappy with the service and quality of his haircut and beard trim, but when it came time to use the gift certificate they accused him of trying to use a fake one. They couldn't find their own record of when they sold me this gift card which was not cheap, but then accused him of trying to use a fake gift card. Took my 14 year old son to see Shawna. He's particular about his hair. He's also quite introverted when around new folks, so it's hard to get an idea about what he wants. She was able to draw out of him a style, and showed him the areas she would be refining, in order to get him the shape he was after. She even took some time to share some styling tips with him and did a straight razor on his neck. I sat, watching this bad ass woman wield her sheers around my boy, surrounded by barnwood and whiskey bottles, (general ambiance of manhood). I got this glimpse of my kid, who I remember kicking his heels on the booster. Now, wide necked and feet on the floor, he's looking in the mirror and seeing this new definition of manhood appearing right before his eyes. He was liking what he was seeing, and so was I. Held back the mom tears to avoid embarrassment. She's great at what she does, and I would like to counter the other negative reviews. Shoulda worked it out, like a man, and let her correct the issue, not whine online. Style is subjective and she's masterful at her craft. Disregard the bitching. Go see Shawna if you're a mans man. I think this is probably my first time in a men's saloon. This was truly a great experience. The place is neat and the products used are top notch. Each barber has their completely set up own room for customer privacy. I was serviced by Danielle, officially my new babe we lol. It's a bit on the pricey side but you pay for what you get. First and last experience here. They advertise a men's tailored haircut for $55 that includes a consultation, shampoo with hot towel, hot straight razor neck shave and aftershave balm. The ONLY thing I received was the consultation, which is a fancy way of saying, "how you want your hair cut?" You know, the same thing that happens at literally any other barber shop. Every single other portion of this was skipped...just didn't happen at all. No shampoo, hot towel, neck shave, or aftershave balm. I will say, the staff is very nice and the shop itself had a very cool vibe, but I'm absolutely not returning. Had I received the service I paid for, I would say it's a decent way to treat yourself on occasion. But for $55 I left with an average haircut and NONE of what's advertised besides the haircut itself. To the business: please don't reach out, here or otherwise. I'm not interested in a refund, another haircut or anything...I just wanted to provide my honest feedback and experience. read more

Went in on Saturday 4/15/23. I bought a straight razor shave for my man for his birthday. I thought it would be a nice experience for the man who has everything. Needless to say we both left disappointed in the shave and service he received. Don't get me wrong, the establishment itself is great but the service he received was subpar to say the least. Firstly he started out 20 minutes later than his reserved time as the barber had another client in the chair when we arrived. When he was finally called back the barber never spoke a word to him the entire time. No explanation as to what he was doing or the products he was using. Dead silence. When he was done and came back to the front to check out I looked at him and was surprised to see stubble on his freshly shaven face. It looked like he had 5 o'clock shadow!! He could have done a better job at home with a disposable razor. We left disappointed and realized that some establishments cater to certain ethnicities. Maybe not everyone here is this way, I am only commenting on this barber in particular. Although we'd like to believe this was not about race or skin color it was evident and made it for a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. 10/10 would not recommend if you're a man of color. read more

Thin, straight, blond hair is not easy to cut. Tyler tells me every time, but every time it comes out perfect. He is probably one of the most meticulous barbers I have seen, and when your hair is particular you want that. I would highly recommend Tyler or anyone in this shop with cutting your hair, they also do tons of other sweet things too.
