After an exhaustive search I decided to hire Home Care Waterproofing. They proved to be wonderful. The work was meticulously done. The workers were professional and respectful and the owners of the business supervised the entire job. Asad and Mohammed were very responsive and made sure to accommodate to my timeline. They were also very patient with my parents. Because I cannot climb on top of the roof during the job, Asad even sent me progress pictures. The price was very reasonable. The owners were very honest. My father asked for extra aluminum drip edges around the small alcove and Home Care Waterproofing did it without extra cost. This is a family run business and they took great pride in providing the best customer experience available. It is rare to find such a great contractor. Foundation Repair ANG completed a foundation repair on my…read morehome's rear wall on 7/28/2025. For the last two years we had been dealing with flooding in our basement. Attempting to do D.I.Y repairs of my own with drylock and rubber sealant always leading to water getting into our home. Having our chimney lining replaced on 6/14/2025, we were shown the opening in the foundation that was allowing this water into our basement. We reached out to 3 companies. ANG was the only one to actually show up and suggest options. ANG was also a referral from the chimney company that installed our new linin. I think that alone speaks volumes. The owner is a true craftsman and knowledgeable on best ways to waterproof. I had been lacking a true drainage system behind our home all these years and this was the first thing he notice and advised he would install once the waterproofing of the wall/foundation was started. We have lived in our home going on 21 years and this was truly an unexpected expense, but feel relieved that we found someone who knows what they are doing. His price point is slightly below the average of what others quoted us over the phone without actually physically coming out to look at our issue. The work was done over 11 days. We experienced two days that had temps in the high 100's due to humidity. I assumed his crew would not work on those days, but they were here bright and early to push through. I had a few neighbors peek over my fence to see them working and have already passed his information on. Like a jack of all trades, he does interior home construction as well. We will be reaching out when we do over our basement bathroom over which is 20yrs pass an update.

After interviewing 6 other contractors to redo our entire back yard and waterproof our foundation…read morewe decided to work with Adeel from Hertz Builders. Adeel came in with a fair and realistic price which allowed us to stay within budget while getting beautiful results. The scope of our project was large and included: waterproofing the foundation, demo of patio sized concrete slab and old wood and chain-link fence, installing a patio of pavers, installing a dry-well, installing a center of the yard gravel (instead of grass) area, and perimeter planting beds according to our plan. Adeel went the extra mile to bring over samples of pavers and gravel for us, explained how he does waterproofing and dry well installation, and made us feel confident that the work he was doing was the right way to do it. We ran into some issues with weather holding up the job but Adeel worked around it. He coordinated with our fencing contractor and was able to work with him to get the fence installed in tandem with the rest of the yard. We ended up having some surprises such as an additional concrete ledge under the surface and tree roots that ran much deeper than anticipated. Adeel took care of all this without complaining or up-charging. He even sought out a special pink/brown stone to line our planting beds. I am an extremely detailed person and Adeel corrected everything I noticed right away. For example, there was a small spot on the patio where the water pooled after rain. Adeel redid this section with no issue. He made sure everything was slanted properly away from the house to prevent water infiltration and even sealed/repaired some spots in the concrete on my neighbor's side to prevent water from entering. He also installed concrete on her side to keep my patio from sliding down as her yard is lower. We had some issues with figuring out the height and width of the planting beds and Adeel took the time to show me the various options and sizes by moving the bricks for me to see it visually. Adeel was readily available on the phone and I'm sure I drove him crazy with questions. I'd say he has the best communication skills of any contractor I've hired. He's friendly and easy to work with and follows through with what you agree on. His crew members are respectful and hard working. I'm writing this review six plus months later and I can say we are thrilled with the results. We were able to use the yard all summer and consider it our extra living room. I highly recommend Hertz and have referred Adeel and his company to other friends.

I initially read the reviews on Yelp and felt DeMuro Roofing was the best choice. I've a small flat…read moreroof on the 3rd floor that was leaking constantly and my idea was to replace the whole roof. I called and they came right over. I did mention I wanted it replaced, but they said the best thing to do was to use white silicone coating and it will stop anything. So, I said ok. They got the job done in June of 2020. It looked good, not what I was looking for, but I trusted them and I thought it was fine. They also gave me a 5 year warranty. Fast forward to Autumn of 2024, and it started leaking again. I called and said I want to use the warranty. Communication was not as great. They constantly told me they are going to troubleshoot it and get to the bottom of it. It seemed like they were surprised that the silicone didn't stop it. They did visit, but kept on saying it doesn't look like their work, but they will get a guy who can give a masterclass on finding leaks. They never returned and the warranty had expired as time slipped by. I ended up going with their competitors. The competition replaced the whole roof, found the leak in the process, and used ingenuity to prevent it from ever leaking again. DeMuro was a huge disappointment and I regret spending $4,750 with them. They did replace my gutters and I was happy about that, but they subbed that out, so not really their work.

I had them install a couple skylights as well, after all the price was pretty good for the amount of work being performed. Fast forward to now. Things have been great but unfortunately due to some, very bad weather a drip started from one then both the skylights. When I spoke to Dave from Wisebuild there was no hesitation to fix the problem. He was on my roof in no time fixing what was clearly a manufacturers defect from the company that produced the skylight. All in all I give them a 5 because they deserve nothing less. Thanks again!
