So soggy that it fell apart as soon as you lift it. Even the banana chips on top were soggy. Either order without the inside slaw, or get another dish. The pieces of Paneer Tikka that we could taste was okay. Not much flavor. (3) Rosa's French Toast - The spiced panko breadcrumb french toast had me very intrigued! The texture was great with the crisp and softness of the french toast, but there was absolutely no flavor in the breadcrumbs which was a let down. Cocktail Menu - HUGE! so many unique South Asian inspired cocktails that we didn't know how to pick. Overall, we were disappointed since the modern fusion flavor didn't match the food.

The only main complaint my friend had was for the the tofu salad as there was barely any tofu in the salad and more of the kale . Drinks : I ordered a regular mojito ( not the one on the menu but the classic), one friend ordered a non alcoholic mojito & the other didn't order anything to drink. She had wanted an ice tea since she was driving and the bar actually had everything but ice tea , which was a first . Seeing they were offering a beautiful Easter dinner set menu for a very reasonable $25/person, I called several days ahead to reserve for four people. They were super nice on the phone and in person when I went to pick things up. Very efficient, prepaid and given a specific time for pick up, I was the only customer in the store. I waited and they placed the order on a table and then I could pick it up. Very smooth. The instructions on how to reheat and serve the meal were very clear and easy to follow. The dinner was a real feast, and great value for the money. There was a butternut squash soup with duck confit and Brussel sprout garnish which we actually saved for lunch the next day because it looked like so much food. For the main course, there was leeks with vinaigrette, cauliflower gratin with béchamel sauce, baked beans with maple syrup and braised lamb, and maple syrup ham with carrots, peas and puréed potatoes. We finished off with a delicious maple syrup tart with pecans. I'd say my only minor issue was that I would have liked just a slightly larger piece of ham, otherwise the meal was perfection! Better than anything I could have come up with even under the best of circumstances. I am secretly hoping they keep doing this even after the pandemic for next Easter. Props to Chez Victoire for finding creative ways to stay open during these crazy times. The boudin with small prawns was fantastic -- the boudin itself held up in flavor yet was delicate in texture. Excellent burrata that came dressed with really fresh accompaniments and mad points for the rustic bread that came nicely toasted. The octopus was generous enough for four of us to have a good taste and move on -- it came with a lovely red sauce that I wanted to mop up with bread. The tuna tartare was brilliant, the french fries that came with it seemed a tad unconventional. And a big win for the lobster risotto, absolute perfection. I wish I could remember the names of the cocktails we ordered but suffice to say, they were all delicious, never harsh in any way. So one thing I wanted to point out was how this one server -- not our main server who was, again, THE BEST -- kept clearing out plates in the middle of eating. Literally, we're in the middle of enjoying a dish and he'd just swoop in, swipe our plates, and dash off. WTF is that about. For dessert, I picked a crème brûlée with a cheese platter . Crème brûlée comes with a lovely crust , which I honestly enjoyed quite a lot. It is a very thin layer of crème brûlée with a thicker than usual sugar crust. The cheese platter came with three very small piece some bread and a jam. I would believe to be blueberries. I was disappointed by the cheese platter not because the cheese were bad ones but just because it was a three bite done deal. I would've liked a bigger portion to share. Came with several varieties of cured meats, cheeses, grapes, fig jam, and nuts. The only complaint is that the pieces of cheese were so incredibly small, like the size of a piece of cheese you'd cut at home to eat yourself. But these tiny pieces were meant for sharing. We asked the waitress for a wine recommendation, but she didn't seem well versed in wine and kept telling us all the wine was good. We were looking for a more specific recommendation then that. Fortunately her colleague was more helpful and had a better handle on the wine menu. For entrees, we each had our own dish. The only disappointment that I had was more of the tartare, I feel like the amount of salmon in the tartare was not enough and there were more of the other ingredients then the salmon in the tartare.(like tomato that looks like tartare but it's actually tomato). Prices are not that expensive compared to other tapas restaurant in MTL I definitely recommend this place, it's nice for a date night or to catch up with a friend. This location wasn't big.
