Dr Nalty herself is BRILLIANT, delightful, intelligent, listens, cares, made both me and my teenage daughter feel listened to and respected and taken care of. It makes me seriously heartsick to have to choose a new doctor. BUT. Her poor office support is literally life threatening. Calling the office, it is not uncommon to be on hold 10 minutes. My mammogram results in June indicated I needed a second screening-- a hold up, probably in the office staff, meant I did not get instructed to return until mid July, a full month after they'd read the initial results. The radiographer's office had to ask twice for Dr. Nalty to okay additional views. (This was what finally made me decide to find a new office.) Earlier test results on cholesterol took several weeks to be returned, though they were read within days, and when I called in wondering what was taking so long they were read incorrectly to me by an assistant. The "don't bother the doctor" screen you have to go through to get information is profound, and it stops this truly excellent Doctor from practicing good medicine. I have told the office that I am leaving, and why. Hopefully they'll address these problems, as Deb Nalty is a wonderful person and a very good doctor and it would be good to have her skills available to her community. read more
