    Tempura Shrimp bento box

I will start with the positive we were greeted upon arrival and seated by a very friendly person, who also was our server. She was the only person working front of house that night, when a bunch of folks were coming to the area for the eclipse. She did her best to take care of everyone and everything. I can tie my 3-star review to the water. It wasn't filtered and you could taste it. That was also the reason our food just wasn't good. It was served relatively fast. The portions were food, but everything tasted "off." I would not recommend this place.

One of my favorite sushi spots in Indy! Always great service, food and a friendly welcoming environment. There is plenty of parking within the proximity of the restaurant. During the week is less busy so you typically will find front door parking with dedicated waiters/waitresses catering to your every need. We went twice during the week and enjoyed a variety of dishes. The cocktails are decent however not a broad listing of options. They do have several Saki options that I enjoy. My favorite rolls are the Playboy, Playgirl, Fire Roll and the King Kong Roll. So yummy!

Great service and delicious food. We tried their sushi and Korean food and loved everything!

Playboy(shrimp tempura, asparagus, spicy tuna, tempura chips topped with cooked shrimp, 3 specialty sauce) - very very sauce heavy. Maui (shrimp tempura, cream cheese, asparagus topped with mango, avocado, unagi sauce) - light on mango which was the reason I got it. Crunch Munch (crab, spicy mayo, tempura chips topped with cooked shrimp, unagi sauce)

Left to right: Diva roll, Corona roll, Mafia roll. Requested wasabi mayo from all 3 to be on the side

My go-to post Pilates sushi spot! The sushi here is on point and flavorful. My classic order is a house salad (ginger dressing), spicy edamame (which has a smokey flavor), and 3 sushi rolls to share (or not)! These taste buds prefer a little heat so the diva, mafia, corona, and Thai chili rolls are usually front runners. The house wines are tasty and about $8 for a ~decent~ pour. The best part about Naked Tchopstix is the staff! All of the servers are beyond friendly and helpful. Maybe one day if I branch out I'll try their Korean side of the menu as well.

Cool spot for pretty much anything east Asian...Korean, Japanese and Chinese. I like restaurants like this! Its very spacious and open inside, with some modern and clean feeling. Nice! Our server was so attentive and friendly. I ordered Bulgogi dinner and my friend had kimchi chigae. What surprised me was the food came in about 5 minutes. And it was disappointing to find the food was not hot. Not cold but not warm either. Its a shame because the taste was good. At least my friends chigae looked hot.

This was a staple for our family for many years. Naked Tchopstix has some of favorite rolls: crunch munch, corona, Maui, and the playboy. We don't head this way as often and now have found closer options. Today we had all of the above rolls and added a soft shell crab roll. Delish! We also tried the potstickers steamed and fried. I preferred them steamed because the flavors of the vegetables came through stronger. The fried was a preference of my husband.

The Playboy role is is the only sushi item I order from this place. Not that the other options aren't good but if it's not broke I'm not trying to fix it. The playboy roll is wrapped in aluminum foil and then lit on fire. The alcohol cooks everything in the foil and leaves it with this smoky flavor that you taste in every bite. The additions to put on it are pickled ginger and wasabi. The staff are always warm and friendly. I had to wait for my to go order and was offered a free drink. I have yet to be disappointed.

    Chicken teriyaki bento

We dined in for lunch and got seated right away. There were many options on the menus - Chinese, Korean, Japanese. We ordered the chicken teriyaki bento, lunch bulgogi, dragon roll, and sunshine roll. I liked the fried assortment they had for the bento. The chicken and bulgogi were cooked well. The price point is reasonable and the food was good! I liked that they had a variety of food options. I also ordered the Thai tea which was delicious. We'll be going back to try the other options on the menu.

    Jason C.

The eatery features both Japanese and Korean dishes! I had the Bibimbap, Smoked Salmon sushi, Teriyaki chicken, and who could forget General Tso's! For the sushi lovers, there is plenty on the menu and it will not disappoint‼ Follow my Instagram: @Bitethis_Indy Link: https://instagram.com/bitethis_indy?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Had a phenomenal visit here for a date night. Our server Franklin was on top of it as he was hosting and serving 6 other tables and was the only server on staff. My fiancé both ordered an entree and sushi rolls to share and received our food in less than 10 minutes, hot and marvelously prepared. We both mentioned that this will be our new spot especially with the lack of quality Asian food in the area. 11/10!!!!

Sushi Sashimi Combo came with miso soup. The fish was fresh tasting but the rice wasn't formed very tight so fell apart when trying to pick it up. Very nice servers though.

Then you choose your meat and broth type and head to the never ending salad and veggie area. It has veggies, noodles, sauces, toppings and more! The waiter tells you em several times it is all you can eat, thus the higher price point. Make sure to note too though that if you order a lot more than you eat you will get charged a few for leftovers. They want to curb food waste which is commendable. I suggest starting small and then building as for sure you get full rather quickly! My favorite aspect was the sauce area where they listed sauce combos the recommend. It helped me a lot to have some guidance and I liked the sauce I chose from their list. A fun interactive experience and good for groups. It is loud and smelly as you are basically sitting inside a large kitchen. But a fun experience and yummy food so worth a visit!

One of the reasons I loved it was the traditional charcoal grill, which is becoming harder and harder to find these days. Most places use gas grills, but charcoal really gives the meat that authentic Korean BBQ flavor. Because of my past visits, I came in expecting the same level of food quality and service. However, it seems the restaurant may now be under new ownership because the experience felt very different from what I remembered. Service was noticeably slower, and the food quality was not what I had come to expect from Bando. The bulgogi, galbi, chicken, and marinated pork were all brought out together on one plate. When I asked if I could order just beef, I was told that meats cannot be selected individually. Instead, I could choose three meats that would be served in half portions. We were also told that if any of the meat was not finished, there would be an additional $10 charge per person. Another surprise was that the usual Korean BBQ accompaniments were missing. Typically, all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ includes items like steamed egg and soybean soup, but neither were provided. Lettuce for wraps was also charged separately at $4. It's unfortunate because this used to be one of my go-to Korean BBQ spots. The charcoal grill is still a great feature, but overall, the experience wasn't the same as before. Free parking is available, which at least makes visiting convenient. Sadly, it may be time for me to start looking for a new Korean BBQ restaurant.

There is no transparency for room rates here and this gives a business an opportunity to swindle you. There is no clarity if that deposit can be refunded or what the policy is on the website or readily available to customers when they are on site. I discovered that this deposit is non-refundable, which is unfortunate that I had to eat that cost. Unfortunately, my party of 10 went down to a party of 6 due to funerals, COVID, and other uncontrollable circumstances. I tried calling several times prior to the reservation (Sunday and Wednesday before the Saturday reserved time) I was told on my final call speaking with the manager that since the group had reduced to 6 people they could put us at $50/hr in the small room. However, when I showed up, I was told that we were still in the $80/hr and there was no changing that. Also, we had a lot of technical difficulties. Wireless microphone receivers were not charged, so we kept getting disconnected. We had to change mics 3x when we were there. The employees were doing their best and were as accommodating as they could be, but ultimately the management is faulty. Transparency is important and this place does not have it. Also, I was not told tip was included. I usually tip 20% because times are tough and places don't pay their employees enough, but did not get an itemized receipt before this interaction. When confronted, the front desk guy lied about showing me two rooms and that I requested the room for 15-18 people. That NEVER HAPPENED and I have 3 witnesses AND the security camera caught that. He even tried to threaten showing me the security footage like, please, prove me right actually. Also, my friend told me that the guy was insulting me the whole time when I wasn't talking to him on the phone, clearly because I was not there in person (he also just hung up on me during the discussion). Even during the refund process, when we were only trying to pay the real $55/hr rate, they STILL tried to haggle saying "fee this, fee that". There are so many things I could've gotten upset about, but literally all I cared about was the promised upon rate. Was I mad about the limited discography? No. Was I mad about the undisclosed gratuity? No. I merely wanted what we were rightfully owed. Simple as that. Then, to still try to negotiate out of paying us back PLUS being heavily insulted PLUS trying to threaten me?!? What is happening?!? Both of us landed on 1/5. Here's what we ordered: the Mega Bowl Ramen (Chashu & Shrimp) combo with Thai Tea and a Pork Bun, the Fried Squid Tentacle, and the Pork Belly Kamameshi. The ramen was salty and just didn't taste good, which was a real letdown given the crowd. The noodles came out firmer than what we're used to at places in Texas and Japan, and the chashu was the single best part of the whole bowl. The Thai Tea was a complete miss--it looked good but was overwhelmingly milky, like 85% milk, which isn't what Thai tea typically tastes like. The Pork Bun was drowning in sauce and overwhelming to eat. The Fried Squid Tentacle was the highlight of the meal, though it's comparable to what you'd find elsewhere. The Pork Belly Kamameshi was the worst item by far with a tiny amount of rice with a huge amount of sauce piled on top. We got through only about a fifth of the pan because it was too intense and far too little rice. To be fair, this spot gets a lot of love online for its broth and its novelty robot server (can be found in a lot of Japanese restaurants) so tastes clearly vary. But for the two of us, the meal was salty, oversauced, and unbalanced, and we wouldn't come back. 1/5.

You have the option of having the restaurant chef cooking your meal, or you can have them bring the ingredients to you and you can cook it yourself on the in-table cook top. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is new and the dining area was very clean. Parking in front is very small and challenging. I recommend you park in the rear of the restaurant. This restaurant was a great experience and I know we will come back again.
