I was really excited for her when she opened her own place in Desert Ridge (the Beauty District) so much closer to where I live. I tried a new service called the VB Signature Facial (sigh) last weekend. The products smell and feel incredible, and I felt very pampered. AND although I had just seen her the weekend before, her skin looked amazing! (honestly, I kept trying to catch a glimpse of a pimple or something, but it just wasn't happening). She told me about the products she had been using and her new multi-step routine, and I want to try this myself. My favorite part among many really nice steps may have been the cellulose sheet mask. I thought it was pretty cool, and I felt so hydrated. Take THAT, Desert! It's funny, but when I see Venecia, I always start chatting/catching up/what's new? and by the middle of whatever service it is (yes, even while having my eyebrows waxed and tweezed), I'm in that twilight place that isn't quite sleep and isn't quite consciousness. It never fails. Her salon space is one among many albeit at the end of the hall, and you can hear outside sounds, but it honestly didn't matter. I still chilled out. Zzzzzzzzz.
