Like having a friend at your event - approachable, friendly, and fun. They took time to understand what we wanted from our photos, researching and visiting different locations; then going to great lengths on the day(s) to achieve that vision. We absolutely love the photos, and with their creative and natural style, they perfectly tell the story of the day(s). They provided us with an amazing service during the two-day shoot by working tirelessly all-day to capture every special moment. They truly are the best in the business, and we will continue to recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you, again! Diana Sooklall & Shaun Budhu August 2017

From the start, they were very warm toward us, and they made it clear that they did not intend to only capture us from afar. Rather, they entered our lives as new friends, and the fun we had together naturally brought out our most photogenic moments. Like many photographers, they have an expert eye for all the elements that made a good picture: posing, lighting, backdrop, etc. But where they really stand out is their personality. They are charming, disarming, and every one of our family and friends loved them. Corralling dozens of people into group shots is not easy, but they were naturals at working with everyone. Finally, I'd just like to comment on how they repeatedly went above and beyond their obligations to make sure that we were happy. For example, when we realized after the wedding that we had forgotten to show them some of our home decorations, they took time out of their weekend to drive over and take those pictures. A special occasion calls for a special photographer. I highly recommend you choose Raj Photo Video. They don't just capture moments; they make moments. And as anyone who visits their website can tell, they are experts at their craft.

Chao follows the idea of a perfect picture - I mean he makes sure that the dress looks equally beautiful on both sides, takes time to improve the posing and surroundings. Even though our photosession took a bit longer, he never mentioned extra minutes. Dharmi is an extremely detail oriented planner who was always there at all hours via text message, email and phone call away to answer any of my questions and to provide me with the attention and assurance I needed to ensure everything would run smoothly and care free on the day of my wedding. My wedding day was absolutely perfect in every way and I could not have asked for anything more. Not a good listener, not very strong vendor relationships, and not very experienced. She was the only one of my vendors that I had any issues with, and she was also the only vendor that was hired exclusively to provide the service of being helpful to the bride! She was very sweet at first, and gave a nice pitch, but then when it came down to providing services to her client (me), she fell short. She didn't listen very well so vendor recs were off the mark; she kept trying to pitch me additional services, even when she wasn't doing what she was hired for well, and I hated feeling like she was just trying to squeeze more $ out of me; and she made it clear to me that my wedding and my business were not important to her (ie by not reaching out to my venue to learn about its layout, by not providing me a sample itinerary when i asked for it, by refusing to meet before my event to go over details, etc.). Compared to the services my other friends got from their planners, Evenings of Elegance seemed more concerned with their own image than my bridal experience. If you are looking for a wedding planner, there are a lot of them out there so I would suggest you keep looking - and don't get caught up by the hard sell (which is the mistake that I made). If you are at all detail oriented, have hopes of hosting a classy and upscale event, and/or are looking for a planner that will support you and make your life easier, I would recommend looking elsewhere. This planner cares more about marketing and sales than she does about following through and providing proper client service or doing the right thing for her clients. Pricing is seemingly low at first (before add'l fees are tacked on) - but I guess you get what you pay for.
