I have been going to this salon for a while because it is near my house, but I have gone to a few other salons now and they make me appreciate this one, everyone is so polite and very clear about your expectations so they understand what you're requesting. Everything from the volcano spa pedicures, to getting any design I want on my acrylic nails, is amazing. They never disappoint. Great customer service every time. Terrible customer service. Two of us made appointments for pedicures at 2pm. While we were both seated, only one was served. Someone coming in 15 minutes later was allowed to jump the line, having demanded immediate service. Poor quality scattered workers rude to me saying inappropriate things color of toes and nails didn't match

I was really excited to get a French gel manicure and pedicure here because of all the great reviews. I had a 4:00 appointment. They told me twice to pick a color. I told them twice a want a French Manicure and Pedicure. Gel. Even though I had an appointment I had to wait 40 minutes!! I almost left. I made an appointment, because I'm very busy. The girl that did my pedicure gave me a 3 minute massage barely rubbing my skin. Definitely not a message at all! The girl that did my Gel French manicure, Crystal, never gave me my massage that's supposed to come with a manicure. My gel chipped the next day! I will never go back. They are fortunate to have so many good reviews. I'm writing the truth. I was sorry to waste 80.00 dollars and 2 1/2 hours of my day here!!! read more

They were all nice. I showed the picture of what I wanted. As you can see in the picture, the colors are off and so is the shape. I almost felt bad for having him do what I asked because he had told me how hard it was working with powders. Found that kinda weird because I've never had someone say that before. It looks good but not great. Has some rough edges too. Will I go back? Probably not because I have a nail guy I work with. He was just busy. I am the regular customer come to Nail World. I saw several times that the cashier named Tom, he steals tips money from his coworkers. Once time, I saw the customer give $20 cash to him, and told him that give to nail girl $20, however he did not give anything to that nail technician So, I pay more attention to Tom. I did my nails about 1 hour. During 1 hour, I saw several times he put his coworker tips on his pocket, instead of giving to the nail technician. The nail people did a very good job. So as a customer, I give them the good tips. But the cashier guys stole their tips. I do not want the nail girl misunderstanding that I am not appreciate her work. This place does a very nice nail and good services. I just want to let people know that you should give the tips directly to the nail technician whoever did for you. Great nail salon - I definitely recommend this salon if you are looking for a calm environment to relax and enjoy a manicure or pedicure. Simple, honest, clean and calm environment During my third trimester I wanted to go get a luxurious mani/pedi. I got the most expensive pedicure they offer (it involves the hot stones and bath salts etc etc). It felt really great and the manicure/pedicure came out great! The nail technician who did my pedicure was so kind and gave me a great leg/foot massage. The covid safety precautions they have in place made me feel comfortable and more at ease. The door is always open and fresh air is constantly circulating throughout the space, the ceiling fans also help with a great air flow. No strong acetone/nail polish odors, even when the whole salon is full of customers. The staff are very polite and kind - they offer every customer water and take every effort to help make customers feel good and comfortable. It's quiet (there is a tv playing movies but the audio is muted and the subtitles are on - and there is music playing at the salon - but it's instrumentals without singing - it feels very much like a calm space). While I was in the salon, a young woman and her mother were there and walked in an hour before closing and wanted a pedicure and a full set of new acrylics (it takes way more than an hour to do all that work) - the customers were so rude and demanding I was seriously considering intervening to defend the staff. Despite how rude the customers were, the staff handled everything with a lot of respect and the workers stayed late to complete the job. Overall a great salon! read more

I'm usually not one to leave a Yelp review but for this place I had to create an account to leave a review. I went yesterday (September 14, 21) with my friend and upon arrival we were immediately seated, which was good! My friend had Lady A and I had Lady B. Lady A, who was with my friend told her she couldn't do acrylics so they switched, I now had Lady A and my friend had Lady B. I went in for a gel manicure and everything was going great until she started cutting my cuticles. She first cut too much from my thumb and I started bleeding a bit, I didn't say anything because it was really tiny and I'm sure it was an accident. She continues to do the rest of my hand and once she got to my middle finger she cut me again. This time it was bad. At this point I was pretty mad because it hurt. She tried to make it stop bleeding by spraying alcohol and applying pressure but that wasn't working so she then applied something called Nick repair, it was like a powder and that didn't work. Before she tried anything else I told her I wanted to wash my hands but she held my hand down and told me no. While I was texting my friend to tell her what happened I noticed she put crazy glue on my cut and put a cotton ball on it! This is what really pissed me off. She tried to remove the cotton and was hurting me more and made me bleed even more. She was wanting to apply glue again but I told her I didn't want glue on my cut I just wanted to wash the blood off. Again, she didn't let me. She continued to work on my nails and usually before they start they apply this bottom coat and when she applied it to my finger that was hurt she got blood on the tip of that brush and continued to dip it back in the bottle. She wasn't taking any precautions while dealing with my bloody finger. I asked her if she was going to throw that away and she said no she was just going to apply alcohol on the brush. I was really shocked. I didn't get her name but she was wearing glasses. My nails came out really nice but the fact that she cut me and handled things really bothered me. I hope she threw away the bottle of nail polish she used and the utensils she used as well. And yes I still paid for the service and tipped her read more

So amazed with the service here! I stopped by at 11am on a Wednesday thinking it wouldn't be too busy but I was surprised the place was packed. I spoke with Tammy who said they couldn't fit me in immediately (it is prom/graduation week) but offered a later time the same day. I really appreciated her honesty because many salons would not be forthcoming about this and you wind up waiting around forever for your turn.
