It was like she was trying to hurt me or something I don't know what was going on but she filed my nails to the point where they were almost nonexistent and then put acrylic on top so of course now I am in pain when these are coming off, because I have nothing protecting my nail. She's a older, Hispanic woman I believe and it was so bad the guy, I don't know if he's an owner or not but he had to complete my doing my nails but the damage was done already. Unless he hires new staff, I do not recommend this place. You might end up with an infection.

She didn't remake the appointment for the next day or the day after... once she saw that her son had no issues... I never got the appointment.... she actually told me she was going to make it up to me and never did. So there's that, I drove for two hours. Then I realized that her work didn't last very long $100 set, gel overlay on natural nails, with one nail being fixed and a French design. I was late for my original nail appointment so I tipped 20. My nails didn't even last a full week before they started cracking at the sides because there was no Apex and they were too flat. When you do anything with your hands... with nails with no apex.... It causes them to bend at the sides where the apex should be. Now two weeks in 50% of the nails have needed to be fixed. I initially had to beg her... and call her restricted.... not to do me dirty and to actually fix my nails because when I angrily but respectfully brought my complaints to her, she decided that she wanted to block me, instead of fixing the problem, she has a no refund policy even if her work does not last.she did fix three nails, and the next day two more proceeded to bend. She does a pretty, clean nail. But if I can't get a month out of em..... I'm not $240 a month on nails rich. Pretty doesn't matter if they don't last. I am writing this review in hopes that she will actually redo my nails.. give them the proper apex... I'd be glad to update the review at that point. This isn't a problem I've had often.

This man cut my toenails down so low you could see the nailbed. Not only were my toenails too low but they were cut crooked. Common sense would dictate that even though I told him to cut down low, nobody would mean past the actual nail bed. Then he rubbed my feet so hard with callus scrubber that it left a gash on my pinky toe. It is now Friday and I still cannot wear closed toed shoes. Because the sides rub on my toe and it not only hurts but it makes it bleed again. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They hire people who don't know what they're doing and cut you. These asians must not want repeat business from blacks because they are all the time drawing blood from me. I specifically asked the leader to give me someone that would not cut me. And it's not just ben, it's been at least 7 other asians that have made me bleed. I don't have thick cuticles so I don't know what they're cutting so deep for. I will be going to other races from now on. Bleeding is serious business especially since it looks like they really don't invest in cleanliness. If I could give no stars I would

I've been fortunate enough to visit a few destination and resort spas over the years, so I've come to associate a massage with the entire experience--the atmosphere, the amenities, the sense of escaping for a couple of hours. Essentials is much more of a straightforward wellness clinic than a luxury spa, and that's something I wish I had better understood before booking. The space is clean and the staff were professional, but the environment felt more functional than relaxing. For me, it didn't create that "leave the world behind" feeling that I'm looking for when I spend money on a self-care day. If your priority is simply getting a massage from a convenient neighborhood location, this may be a good fit. If you're hoping for a more indulgent, high-end spa experience with an upscale ambiance, you may want to look elsewhere. Neither approach is wrong, it just depends on what kind of experience you're after.
