They can try to accommodate walk ins but you may have to wait a bit or schedule an appointment another day. I had gotten my nails done at Daisy Nails a few years ago and decided to return for their services. My friend and I opted to go to Daisy Nails and Spa for our manicures (removal and shellac manicure for me, a shellac mani and pedi for my friend) on a Friday afternoon. I called about 3 weeks prior to the appointment as I wanted to make sure we got our manis together or around the same time. The staff were prompt to take my name and number down during the phone call. Day of our appointment, although we arrived on time we still had to wait about 10-15 min for our nail technicians. I probably waited a bit longer. The place was a little over half full and all the nail technicians were busy with other customers. My shellac removal and manicure took almost 1.5 hours long (usually would take me about an hour at another salon, however, I did have to wait a bit in the beginning). My nail technician was attentive and friendly. I had 2 split nails which she was aware of and took care to cover them up. She also listened to how I wanted to shape my nails and made sure I was okay with the length. Manicure wise, she did a great job! My friend was also happy with her mani and pedi services. If you pay cash you don't need to pay tax. They do however, accept credit and debit as well. Overall, good salon around the neighbourhood. It is a popular place so it does get quite busy, best to book an appointment ahead of time, especially on the weekends!

I like this spot, they always nail it! ;) They can do versatile nail art and attentive to detail on that. Cons. They don't have the friendliest service and don't listen as much. I asked for a slight coffin/square shape but instead I got a broken nail. 3. They don't soak your hands in water to get cuticles and nails soft. 4. The pedicure I got was good overall but I feel like they didn't properly cut my nails like they normally do at other salons so I don't recommend it. 5. From my experience at multiple other nail salons, they have a towel on the foot rest when getting a pedicure but this place had Scott towels so it just didn't really help with the overall experience. 6. Friendly staff. Only reason I gave it a second star. Overall, my nails look good from far away but they are not worth getting broken nails over. Will not go back and I would not suggest this place for people who like to do shellac, gel or nail polish over their natural nails.

The place is clean and very quiet. Price for shellac is about the same of other locations and Gina was really nice to me, she was very gentle dealing with my super thin cuticles. It took about an hour to get my manicure done (solid colour, no nail art). Will return.

I had an…read moreanxious experience today though- there was an older lady who sat beside me, who clearly had foot fungus. She was embarrassed about them and said that she had terrible nails. The nail stylist proceeded to file these nails down with the electrical filer usually used for shellac. They were sitting right beside me and my anxiety was through the roof. Why would she be allowed to get her nails done? In this situation, shouldn't the business refuse service? I would really hope so but I guess not?? There was foot fungus nail dust flying everywhere and I was panicked and upset that I hadn't worn a mask. I'm really not sure how I feel after this experience. I'm going to have to just stay home and do my nails on my own. If you have foot fungus, please treat it first. Hiding it under coats of nail polish is not helping anyone! Please refuse people with foot fungus so people can get their nails done safely. Thank you!

I did not make an appointment and they accommodated me for a regular manicure right away. I pick at my cuticles and fingers because of an anxiety disorder and I sort of just decided to try to take care of my nails in an attempt to stop. I let Karen know this and she was so, so nice about it. She made sure I was comfortable when trimming my cuticles and checked in with me a few times to make sure that she wasn't hurting my hands. She helped me pick a color, and I'd say it was the most lovely manicure I've ever had! Karen was kind and compassionate, please go here if you are a Toronto resident.

They provided me with the colours that they had available and they quickly got to work. The removal was painless and easy.. I have had a bad experience where they filed my nails way tooo much and my nails looked a mess. That wasn't the case here thankfully! She did a great job fixing the shape of nails and reapplying the nail polish. Overall a positive experience. They gave you a tiny hand massage at the end.. a couple places I have been to are a little better in that department but whatever I wasn't coming in for a massage anyway. So now my figures look fab and the total came to 35 plus tax. 5 was for the removal of my previous shellac and then 30 for the shellac manicure. The pricing is pretty on par with other salons in the area. Ps.. it's been 2 weeks and my Shellac is in pretty mint condition.. typically it lasts a week and then I'm regretting having invested $ in my nails... but I have been impressed! Def. Coming back :)
