I honestly think she did it on purpose, hoping I'd change my mind after she'd already cut them off and let her do a $60+ acrylic service instead. I can't prove it, but that was definitely the vibe I got since she just kept trying to push acrylics. I should have just been patient and gone to my nail lady in Orange County. Instead, I left with extremely short nails because she couldn't just listen. On top of that, I was told the wait for a walk-in would be 10-15 minutes. I ended up waiting 30 minutes. I don't mind waiting, but just be transparent about the wait time so customers know what to expect. Regardless of her pushing acrylics and basically ruining my natural nails, I still got the exact service I originally asked for. So no, she didn't get the $60+ acrylic service, and she didn't get a tip either. Listen to the customer instead of just doing what you want. They don't accept walk-ins because they are booked months out in advance with their regular/loyal clients. Her polish application was perfect and her massage was really great as well.
