I visited today at the high recommendation of a local friend, for a facial and a little threading. The technician, Rupal (hope I got her name right) could not have been more skilled, and was so warm and friendly. She runs the salon with her niece. They offer a variety of facials, threading, and waxing, along with other services (see attached photo), and are currently offering a repeat customer bonus (3 eyebrow threadings, get one free; 5 facials, get one free). I had the Skin Brightening Facial, which also included a fabulous bit of arm, shoulder, neck, & face massage. The zen-like background music was quiet & peaceful, and all the massage lotions & potions smelled fresh & terrific - a fresh herbal scent (I can't stand the chemical/overly floral scent that I've experienced before in other salons). Definitely recommend this salon in all categories- kind, friendly, personal customer care, very skilled and professional staff, easy parking, great range of services, & a bright, modern, clean environment.

I came in without an appointment and was told there were no openings until 3:30. I then asked if they could just remove my liquid gel, and I was told yes. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The technician removing my gel nails cut my fingers twice during the process. Not once did he apologize. Instead, he simply pulled my hand forward and continued as if nothing happened, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the front desk experience was shockingly unprofessional. The person working the desk was more focused on discussing her SATs and not getting into FGCU than on the customers in front of her- customers who were paying and clearly having a poor experience. Overall, this was careless, unprofessional, and honestly awful. New management or not, basic customer service and safety were clearly lacking. Check out the photo of my nails after "service" was rendered. They were left beaten up, sore, and in worse condition than when I arrived. Do not recommend.

I walked out of here covered with blue green turquoise wax (how many people can actually know the color of their wax unless it's left behind in big quantities) and still with hair that a Brazilian wax should have removed. After a wax I normally tip and walk out feeling like I'm on a cloud. Today I went home laid back and started taking pictures because I wanted to be sure I wasn't being over critical. 17 pictures later I'm disappointed at the time I wasted and won't get back. I don't know if the service was rushed because of a packed schedule since next appointment called in while I was there. She asked for next appointment to give her two minutes. Two minutes I was out the door. My only other thought was maybe the hair wasn't long enough for the wax. She could have said that in the beginning and I could have rescheduled. She is sweet and makes you feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend her to someone doing a Brazilian for the very first time ever. Comparison is the thief of joy and she made me miss my old regular waxer.
