I am so done with the usual "chop shops". I feel very fortunate to have found Moskva Russian Manicure salon, where I get a precise, hygienic, beautiful dry pedicure every time. Cathy is an amazing technician who takes the time to do the job right. The reclining chair is wonderfully comfortable and the whole experience is very relaxing, without soaking my feet. The salon itself is elegantly decorated, although the strip mall it's located in looks a little run down. You do have to walk upstairs, so if you have mobility issues, that could he a problem. The good side of having the salon on the second floor is that you don't have randoms walking in the door. And once you walk through that door, you are in a different world. The pictures I take of my feet do not do justice to the quality of the pedicure, especially the cat eye or chrome add-ons.

I don't have to worry about my hair getting stuck under my grown out gel polish when I'm shampooing my hair! She mentioned to me how her method of e-file is better for our nails because soaking and removing gel every time (like at other salons) makes our nails brittle and porous from the water. I am so lucky that she was my person. Not only is she detailed in what she does, she takes pride in her work. She is chill and made me feel chill. She takes her time and I felt pampered. When she was doing my fingernails she didn't use water for soaking. She used a variety of instruments to remove cuticles. She quietly sang the songs on the shop's Playlist. She has a good voice. That made me feel extra calm and welcomed. 3. The tough part of the visit was getting to the shop. The Nail Buzz opens before the container shop mall opens. There are 2 security doors that were locked. I was told to enter through the gate by the giant metal preying mantis. The long long gate slides open. We would not have figured it out had we not seen Tatie before hand. She introduced herself at the sliding gate and showed us the way. We rode the elevator to the shop. It was air conditioned. Yay! 4. Disappointing Experience at The Nail Bus - Downtown Container Park…read more I stopped by The Nail Bus at the Downtown Container Park in Las Vegas at approximately 2:50 PM. Their posted hours clearly showed that they were open until 7:00 PM, so I asked if I could get a pedicure and a full set. I was told they would not have time to do my services. What made this especially frustrating was that there was no one waiting. There was one employee working on one client, and apparently only one employee running the entire shop. If a business advertises that it is open until 7 PM, I wouldn't expect to be turned away more than four hours before closing, especially with no customers waiting. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend calling ahead before making the trip. Better yet, you may want to skip it altogether and find another nail salon that is adequately staffed and able to accommodate customers during its posted business hours. Unfortunately, I can't review the quality of their nail services because I wasn't given the opportunity to receive any.
