I am extremely disappointed with the quality of my nails. I chose color #007 directly from the…read moresalon's display so I expected my nails to match the sample. Instead, the finished result looks nothing like it. The color is uneven and splotchy instead of having the smooth, pearlescent finish shown on the sample. It almost looks like the gel wasn't mixed properly before it was applied. You can also clearly see where my builder gel fill begins, which should have been blended seamlessly. The application looks patchy and unfinished rather than smooth and professional. I understand that slight variations can happen, but this isn't a close match to the salon's own color sample. For the price I paid, I expected much better attention to detail and a finished product that actually resembled what I selected. Unfortunately, I left with nails that look poorly executed rather than professionally done. Unfortunately this will be my last visit to Golden Nail Bar.

The pretty roses on the wall really are overcompensation for an extremely underwhelming &…read moredisappointing experience. Worst experience in 20 years of tri weekly visits to salons in DFW. First time coming to this location. I had a manicure and a remnants of what was supposed to be a pedicure. - Pedicure: The main issue came with the pedicure. I have calluses and the tech (I believe her name was *Mimi) did not remove any callus at all. I gently explained I get pedis really often and I can tell the callus scrape was too dull and the removal was the main reason I'm here. She said it was not dull and something about applying Vaseline.... I have No idea what she was talking about. I have gone to countless salons and have NEVER HAD AN ISSUE receiving the callus treatment I paid for. I asked her if I could leave, no massage no anything she did polish only. If callus removal was subpar I am sure the rest of the service would be a waste of time and oil to cover her lack of callus removal. I notified management as I left. I mentioned I did not want to get her in trouble and he responded "no one is in trouble, no one is babysat here" and proceeded to charge me what I am estimating is half price for the "pedicure" + full for the manicure. - Manicure: Initially the tech doing my manicure kept commenting on how I bite my nails, how's it a bad habit etc. After the 3rd time you commented, Thank you ma'am I didn't realize my lifelong issue would be magically fixed by your repeated comments. Paid because the manicure was done regardless. -Overall: I really despised this experience as a busy mom I never really get time to have a moment and this was a complete waste of time and energy. IMAGE ATTACHED: how she left the bottom of my feet with her dull callus scraper. This was after she used it and the purple pumice stone. My entire bottom of my foot look likes this. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE RECONSIDER
