Wayyyy too expensive for the crappy job they did. I wanted white polish with a clear coat of Silver glitter on top, but they didn't seem to understand what I was referring to. Whatever they put on top, made the polish yellow instead of white. When I walked in, they looked at me like I did not "belong" inside of their establishment. Very horrible wouldn't recommend to go here , I went in for a soak off and to get shellac polish on top he tried ripping off my nails and I had told him it was hurting and then he started removal with the bowl and he didn't want to wait anymore he was gonna leave all the acrylic on it still until I asked him to remove everything , didn't even do the polish because my nails are very sore from him ripping them off and few of my nails are bleeding and cut ! This was my go to place until my recent visit. I would go to Kevin for my nails religiously every two weeks. I asked for a new set. To my surprise when he was filing off the shellac, one of my nails had FUNGUS!!!! Like the whole nail noticeable dark green fungus. I WILL NOT GO BACK! I have never had this happen before and I'm horrified! Horrified to trust another nail tech and horrified to go somewhere with my nail looking the way it does. What I didn't know at the time of the visit is that he shouldn't have put anything back on my fungus nail. He did. Unbeknownst to me, I let him and carried on my way. I told my sister and she told me to soak the acrylic off my nail and let it breath, then get an antibiotic. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON UNLESS YOU WANT FUNGUS!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I came here to get gel nails and before i even left the salon i expressed my concerns about how they were peeling and looked rough and unprofessional. The lady immediately blamed it on me for not being "careful enough" I've had gel nails done many times and this is NOT how they're supposed to look or sit on the nail. Well been looking for another nail place. And decided to try this place. Walking in you will notice it's a new place. A lot of chair for pedicures and about 10 or so places for nails. The people that work there are pretty nice. Everyone was so kind and friendly to me. I got a classic manicure and a nu skin pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was Esmi. She was very nice and professional. I feel bad cuz I was tired so not to talkative. First she did my pedicure, amazing no nips or any pain. She did a great job on the massage part. Extremely relaxing especially since I was already tired. My only think is I wish the hot wax was a little hotter. It was more warm than hot. And it wasn't her. She brought them right out. Toes now look flawless. Like stated before Esmi did my manicure as well. Again a flawless service. She did a good massage on my hands and arms. Now i was trying not to fall asleep. I noticed the detail and care she put into making sure my manicure was perfect. She was awesome. I forgot that when I came in I was offered water or wine. Now it was pretty cold in there. One of the ladies working there went and put on a jacket. Lastly their military discount is on particular days...I think Mondays. Then, when he found out they didn't have the polish I asked for, he tried to "create" the effect with other nail polish, but the colors he selected were completely different! He apparently had no idea what he was doing. She was right, I am very happy with not just her work but her customer service. I got a mani & pedi plus my eyebrows waxed and I left feeling amazing with my new clean nice shaped eyebrows. Decided to try this salon for a second time because of the convenient location but it was just as bad as the first time. Half of my thumb nail was missing the top coat, and the technician (who I believe was one of the owners) made several of my fingers bleed while clipping my cuticles. My boyfriend also decided to get a manicure while he was waiting on me. The man finished up and said he was good to go and never even clipped his nails or removed the dirt from under them. I had to point it out that he had clipped or cleaned under his nails and request that they fix it. Don't waste your time or money with this location. NO, NO, NO, please spend your money wisely and do not go here. My fault I went on a col, gloomy rainy day and didn't want to drive another 2 miles to KDL Nail Lounge , For rainy day safety reasons. When I walked in, I should of left. It was dirty and dark. I was hoping they directed me to the color section, instead they gave me a small color book and 1 broken color pallet. I couldn't even see the colors because it was so dark. I had to ask for nail dip remover several times because I didn't want to have to be there forever while getting a pedicure. I do have to admit, the lady was nice, but only massaged my legs for about 30 seconds. For all the money I spend on one, it was the worst experience. After, asking for nail removing dip several times, the man Megon eventually did my nails was laughing at me with his workers. He must of thought I was stupid, because I didn't understand him. When I kept asking he was just sitting down at his booth with no customer. Once the horrible service started they where using USING used instruments. Took my young daughter in for her first set of nails, I told the technician to give her acrylics with regular polish. I got my brows done. When we were done the total was $65, i didn't realize until we left that they gave her shellac which is $20 more. Then I remembered they did the same thing months earlier when I took two of my other daughters. I called and the lady that answered the phone immediately responded by saying the nail tech asked and my daughter said yes to shellac. #1 I told him what to give her, she's a child and has no idea what shellac is. #2 How does she know their conversation without even asking him?? Because they do this all the time clearly. So she puts the nail tech, Lym? Lyn? on the phone and he tells me the same thing. I tell him he had no reason to ask her when I already told him what we wanted and she doesn't know what shellac is and she's not the one paying. After some back and forth his solution is that we come back in and he will take off the shellac and put regular polish on and then refund me the difference. Makes zero sense, they don't recoup their loss that way and I have to spend the time to come in and get them redone and on top of that embarrass my daughter. Also, we have to come back today or no refund. I just wanted to be refunded the difference, or maybe discount on fills next time we come, maybe an apology. You don't inconvenience the customer when you make a mistake, you make it right. And I use the term mistake lightly because this is a pattern. This shop is right outside my neighborhood and I have 5 daughters, we won't be back. read more

We finally got a nail place by our neighborhood!!! You have no idea how exciting this is for all the woman & I am sure a few men too lol! So we live between San Antonio & Castroville and this area is expanding like crazy so we are getting more and more businesses. Nail & Spa at Potranco just opened and I cannot be happier. The closest place to us is about 20 min away and after work I do not want to stop anywhere and during the week end it's hard to make your way to the nail place. I got an eye brow wax and they did a great job! I was in and out in no time. Of course again because it just opened up. I still need to try them out for a mani & pedi!!! They are going to offer margaritas & drinks too! This is what I am talking about! This place is pretty spacious inside. Obviously vet clean and the staff is very friendly. I'm really excited for them, knowing the demand we have in this area for this type of service I know they will do great! read more

Big mistake to come here! I went on Christmas Eve so didn't do much research on this place but it was close to home and the worst mistake I could make. First,I kept saying I wanted coffin shaped and he replied with, "I've been doing coffin for long time."( pointing at his license) Which my nails were not left looking coffin shaped. The gel nail polish started peeling off on Christmas (next day) so I went to get them fixed after Christmas and I basically got ignored. I told them what I needed done and he passed me to go with a new customer. I waiting a bit to see if they would help me but nothing! Left to another nail salon which they ended up fixing the mistakes and knew what he did wrong. Just upsetting when you pay money for trash. My sweet husband made me an appointment for me to get a mani and pedi. I walked in 5 min early and got seated for the pedicure and waited for 20-30 min before anyone got to me. The man who did my pedicure convinced me to get gel and then did the messiest job he could. He was also very rough and didn't do a very nice job at filing my nails.. they are crooked now. I have nail polish all over the skin around my toe nails, too. Nice guy, but terrible nail tech. Maybe I need to try a different tech, but I'm nervous to go back after this experience. They open at noon and they had two people already doing pedicures at 12:05 when I arrived and no other workers. Three people waiting and not a sign of another worker let alone three. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I've been needing a pedicure for about two weeks and had been hesitant about going back here for a third time because the first two times my toenails were crooked and the polish was rushed and horrible. Peeled and chipped after the first day!! So I got my pregnant ass out of bed and decided to go anyways. Here's how it went... I walked in, four people were in the chairs being served, three were waiting. I signed in and waited to be helped. About ten people walked in after me between 2:45pm and 4pm, the older men kept telling them all that they were busy and to come back in an hour or two. One lady pointed out that they would be closed by then and they both grew defensive and began yelling at her saying they were busy, walked off and left her standing there. She was LIVID, as I was too because they seated a couple who walked in six people after me and began helping them. At that point, after seeing how they treated everyone who walked in the door and after reading the yelp reviews, I walked out and planned to never return. I thought it was nice to have a nail salon less than five minutes away from my home, but this one is definitely not worth the easy access. read more

I was excited to have a nail shop open in the neighborhood. I, usually go to Venice Nails and Spa in Alamo Ranch. But, my first experience here was enough for me. No doubt the place is pretty inside and the pedicure chairs look amazing. I was the only customer at the time, and I noticed about seven employees mostly older men in their 60's plus. I had a friendly gentleman do my pedicure and shellac polish and let's just say, I do a better job on myself. I had to have him redo my nail polish because he didn't polish to the cuticles and he missed all the edges of my toe nails.‍I was able to leave somewhat satisfied, but I knew right then and there, I would never go back. SAD! Anyhow, I would just like to warn others, that because this place is convenient to those like me, who live up the hill on Potranco and dread the drive into SA to definitely SKIP this place Trust me, you will be disappointed as well. read more
