Went here for a while and thought I'd found a great spot, but won't be returning. They nickel and dime you. I got a fill-in and was asked specifically if I'd like a shape or length change and said no. She then proceeded to charge me for that and I had to argue with several people about it. It's rip off to pay for shape and length for a mere fill-in, in which ZERO alterations were made whatsoever. It's not the price, it's the principle. I had a really bad experience here and won't be going back. My coworker recommended this place, knowing that I rarely get my nails done and I wanted to treat myself after working twelve hour days/nights at the hospital. First of all, there was no chocolate (or beverage) offered to me. No, they didn't advertise either but my friend said that chocolate was the added bonus offered here. The lady that did my pedicure was just miserable to be around. She did not want to be here, did not say one word to me, and had a bad attitude. I understand (for the most part) if you can't speak to me due to a language barrier, but you can still be welcoming and friendly. You can still smile and you can graciously (not frown and sigh when) hand me the remote when I nicely ask if I can turn on the massage for the chair. That is why it's there. I take that back... the only time she spoke was to try and sell me a $5 callous remover. Unbelievable. The quality of the pedicure (and manicure) is extremely poor. My nails started chipping and cracking after two days. I had to ask the lady that did the manicure (nice lady that actually spoke to me) to address excess dry skin around my nail beds after she'd finished. The manicure looked very dry and cracked (near the cuticle) the next day and my coworker was the first to comment on it. Now, I am just getting off of my long shift and have to repeat it again in the morning but I didn't want to put off this post. I would hate to have anyone else waste their money at this place. Also, I realize it's quite possibly a considerate thing to ask if you want to pay before they start on your nails, but I would've liked to see the finished product. That way I could tip accordingly. I really don't think they deserved a 20% tip. There is nothing special about this place. The massage remote was covered in packaging tape and the middle of each button was missing so I had to guess which buttons to push. I realize that it happens, but seriously. Used to be a regular customer being that I live next door. I was away for a few months and passed by to get my eyebrows done. Although there were only two people getting their nails done -- 2 technicians on 1, and 1 tech on another -- after having a non-english conversation they decided to tell me to "Come back, they're busy." Are you kidding me? Not, would you be willing to wait 10-15 mins but just leave they're busy. I will never, never, never, be back. It makes perfect sense as to why I've never seen more than 3 people in there at any given time. Looking forward in finding a welcoming, courteous salon. read more

Thank you, Vi. You're very nice but I returned today and received approximately the same result. I made an appt so I didn't have to wait but I didn't mention I left a negative yelp review for fear of getting better service in attempt to "buy" a positive review. On my nails I can see the old gel polish that the girl didn't take off all the way around the edges - I mentioned to her that there was still polish and she said if she took it all off it would make my nails too weak and she would cover it all up. On one of my nails the polish is on my cuticle on one side and on the other side of the same nail it is not even painted in all the way. The only reason I am giving more stars this time is because Vi is so nice. She is very positive and I appreciated how kind she was from start to finish. I have been getting my nails done right up the street for months now and every time they are perfect so I will keep going where I've been going. read more

I absolutely have to get my toenails done every four weeks. They are so badly ingrown I can't do without my gal Wendy! I have been seeing Wendy for 12 years now and she's the best. In fact, she's the only one I'll ever trust to help me. I don't know what I'd do if she were old enough to retire. And I know everyone in the salon. They are very polite and do a great job on nails and with their clients. It's a nice, clean salon and I highly recommend it to everyone. In fact, I travel about 20 minutes to be treated special by these lovely ladies. And the price is right. All salons are pretty pricey these days, but going there makes me feel whole and good. Decided to try to find a new nail place for SNS nails around the Vinings area and found this place on Yelp. I usually go to Nail Fervour on Cumberland Blvd but haven't been too thrilled with their customer service. Pros: - Extremely friendly staff. - Walked out satisfied with my nails. - Pedicure was great and still looks great. Cons: - No TV's so I was just awkwardly staring at the nail techs when there was no conversation. - Gel nails are cracking already. Its only the 4th day. - Their SNS nails are $40. Nail Fervour charges $25 & lasts at least a week and a half before cracking. As friendly as everyone was, I doubt I'll return. read more

Apparently, this place is under new management. I hadn't visited prior to this change, but I had a good experience getting a mani/pedi before going to the beach. I was immediately sat in a massage chair and had two attendants ready to help me with getting my nails beach ready. I opted for the regular services, but noticed they did have an organic one for an $8 upcharge. Maybe next time. Everything went as scheduled, and without a problem. I was able to read my bridal magazine in peace while getting my hands and feet pampered. They include a hot stone massage as part of the standard pedicure - awesome! Most importantly, my nails didn't chip for almost two weeks, and i used regular polish instead of gel nails. I can't remember the last time I had a non-gel manicure with those results! Sadly, I did have to take off the polish last night between my nail growth and the chips that were starting to form. It's definitely a good nail salon to check out. As much as I love Sugarcoat, they don't have massage chairs. read more

Literally the WORST customer service I've ever experienced from a nail tech. I asked for coffin nails and the man filed them too skinny (as if pointed) so I kindly asked if he could do it over. He got an attitude with me and argued with me about how long he's been doing nails and he knows what coffin shaped nails look like. The paint job is terrible and he didn't spend any time on my cuticles. They close at 8 and he was trying to rush me out at 7:20 so he could leave because he was the last person there. I've been a loyal customer to Nails and Facial for more than a year. While my experience has been rather ordinary in terms of receiving average service and tolerating the basic, limited skill set of the technicians, I appreciated the convenience and ease of setting appointments. Hence my continued patronage. However, it was my most recent (and final) visit that was the determining factor in my deciding to discontinue giving Nails & Facial my business. Normally, I schedule appointments at the same time, on the same day of the week. However, on a whim I decided to call ahead in an effort to schedule a pedicure on that exact day. Upon calling, Jessica, a nail technician and acting manager, initially answered the phone. However, we were abruptly disconnected. Within minutes, I attempted to call the establishment again only to be immediately sent to voicemail each time. This was at 6:00 PM on a Thursday. According to Google, the establishment is open until 8:00 PM. After failing to reach someone telephonically, I decided to drive on over an hour later. Upon arriving, Tommy, a nail technician quickly walks to the front door to shut and lock it before I can enter. This occurred at 6:57 PM. As I turned to walk toward my vehicle, I ask in disbelief "Are you closing?", he then rudely states that I should have called ahead and asked me what I wanted. I did not reply out of sheer shock at the remarkably disrespectful, unprofessional manner in which I was being treated. I am not and haven't ever been an unreasonably demanding or nasty customer by any stretch of the imagination. So, to be treated that way was not only completely unjustifiable, but disgusting. read more

Had a full set of pink and whites put on this evening. Everyone was very welcoming, and addressed me by name. Tommy was extremely detail-oriented, and my nails look great! I didn't have any of the cuticle nicks or nailbed heat that I've had on occasion elsewhere. Price was maybe a tad high, but that's to be expected in this neighborhood. Made the mistake of giving this place a second chance. The first time was a terrible experience. The second time was even worse. The worst job I have ever had done on my nails. Vicki shouldn't even be allowed to do French manicures. Had to re-do my nails three plus times before another nail tech had to step in and take over. 2.5 hours for nails is just too long. Loooooved my nails, did not love the attitude. They are decently priced and open late, which is a plus. But they can leave the attitude at the door. I was debating between two colors and when I asked if he could paint one nail of each color so I can compare he acted like I was wasting his time & putting him through too much. He kept trying to tell me which one to use but only I know what look I have in my head so I just wanted to check them both out. He told me "you're gonna make me redo one" with an attitude, so I told him whatever do what he wanted. He did it anyway and when I went with the one he was suggesting he made a point to say "I told you so". Wtf? You can take the attitude else where and I'll take my business else where.
