Called at 5:30 pm to see if they could squeeze me in for a pedicure. Was told they were busy, but if I didn't mind waiting a little they would squeeze me in. I arrived a little before 6:00 and didn't wait longer than 10 minutes. Thoa gave me the BEST pedicure I've ever had! Didn't rush through it even though we were nearing closing time. my son's pedicure was done very well by a young girl. mine, however, not so good not only did you not get the calluses off of my feet or my toes my nail polishes not even done correctly. I understand the woman that did mine had a sore back or something, but it cost $136 for the two of us plus the $50 tip. i've never had a pedicure done where they don't even get the calluses off, none of them. I also had to go home and file two of my toenails because they were so sharp.. I don't think I have ever complained online about any services how bad they have been but this just was wrong because it was a treat something I can't afford to do all the time. The massage chairs and the other workers seem to be doing a good job. I think I might've just got a bad employee or maybe one that was having a bad day. Nails 90 has forever been my go to when looking for a nice set of acrylics with an equally nice atmosphere. After today I will absolutely not be returning; I literally have a shit show on my nails. I showed my nail tech a picture of the look I was going for and asked if she could do it, to which she responded "yeah sure". The picture is clearly some sort of sticker or decal of butterflies, but my nail tech brought out some dry clumpy nail art paint. LOOK AT THAT I asked her to stop after the pinkies. If you can't do the design I asked for I would much rather you just say you can't do it. If I wasn't so pissed that my fill cost $50 for this shit, then I'd be laughing. No greeting when I walked in the door and not one employee spoke to me until I was waiting for a half hour. I have been going to the salon for about five years. If used to be very clean. It is not anymore. You'll find thick layers of dust on top of the chrome decorations at the tables. On the top of the table where the technicians keep their supplies, it is dirty and dusty. You will notice when you are choosing your nail color, that the bottles are pretty goopy A looking worse for the wear. The nail brushes at the wash station are frayed and need replaced. WENT HERE ON 7/10/21 (yesterday) This is not my normal nail place I go to. I only went here because my friend did before, and it was her birthday, so I said "yea sure!", considering my nails needed a fill. I did get in a chair fairly quickly, since it wasn't busy. When I sat in the chair she asked what I wanted and I showed her the nails I wanted it's fairly simple, besides having different colors. Just a french tip on almond nails. When she sat down and started to work on my nails, she started saying all this stuff I was being charged for like "I'll have to use gel polish on this instead of regular so that'll be an extra $25 on the $30", "oh you have a missing nail here, that's another extra $5", etc. after that she never asked if I wanted me nails shortened (which I a 100% wanted) but I didn't know when they usually start to do that. Eventually I got scared to ask because I only had $70 with me (including money for lunch after) and she already said I was being charged for so many stuff that I've never even been charged for before. So I didn't saying anything, thinking I wouldn't have enough money for what I had already. She ended up using a clear acrylic on the fill, which let my old nails become see through on it (looking yellow), and as she painted I thought it would all be fine as long as the paint was fine...no. The paint job looks like it's just half of the nail painted, with a bit of a tiny curve under it. After being done I went to the register to pay. It came up as $74.72.....FOR A FILL. WHA- I had to call my mom to send me more money, cause I didn't have enough with me. My friends' nails came up to like $110 and $152 for their full sets (which were just normal painted nails with no crazy add ons or anything)....I have never in my life heard of that. The nail technicians weren't rude or anything, but they never talked to us, just each other. But nails are just NOT what I asked for, and considering it was RIDICULOUSLY over priced. The place is very clean I will start off with a positive. Onto the nails...I went here twice, the first time was because I got a gift certificate to try it, well the gift certificate didn't even cover the full set, however when my boyfriend went and bought the certificate he said please give me a certificate that will cover a fill acrylic set...i ended up having to pay more on top of the certificate but that's beside the fact at the point. The nail techs are quiet and don't talk...it's very uncomfortable. They also do not have airbrush machines so if you want any type of design/french tip they have to draw it. It takes a long time, so if your in a hurry don't be. Reference the nails, I asked for very square, I got round/square..then I asked for a french tip...the next day it was chipping, by the time I was ready for a fill half of the polish was off and looked terrible. Also the prices are way more then the other local nail salons who do a way better job. I will not be returning here. read more

I went on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. I was surprised how busy they were! They started my pedicure right away but my friend had a 20 minute wait for her gel manicure. The staff was friendly enough, but I wouldn't say they had excellent customer service. After my pedicure (probably due to the scalding water), my legs were so itchy- I told my technician and she blew me off. Anyone else would have applied lotion or made another suggestion. My toes look very nice, but I got the typical in and out treatment that most places like this dole out. Very fair and comparable prices for the area. I realize that without paying more, I shouldn't be expecting a special one on one spa experience. read more

I was in from Chicago visiting family and needed a gel mani. Called around and picked this place based on its location and decent reviews. I've had beauty services, gel manis etc done in NYC, Chicago and Miami and have never been asked to pay for tax on top of a beauty service. Maybe it's an Ohio tax rule- but honestly it threw me for a loop. I made an appointment for a gel mani but when my technician started applying polish without soaking or trimming my cuticles I asked why. She was surprised that I wanted a manicure in addition to the polish. I explained that yes, that is what my appt was for and she quickly switched gears and got the rest of her tools. No problem. The manicure and polish was ok- but it wasn't until I got back home to Chicago before I realized she must not have used the correlating OPI gel base and topcoat. It was really, really hard to remove. And it was only $5 cheaper than if I wanted a gel mani at a top Chicago salon on Michigan Avenue. The place was pretty busy though- lots of folks seemed happy. I just wasn't one of them. read more

Every time I go into this location I get a pedicure with gel polish and acrylic fill with gel polish. The man behind the desk comes to me with a frown on his face angry and ask if I am aware of the prices. I guess because I am African American he believes I do not have any money to pay and tip at least 15% for services. I tell him I am aware of the prices and I have been here many times. I guess I look different every time or I am judged by my skin color every time. I would like this business to know that all Black people are not broke. My Business brings in at least $3500.00 a week. more than $12,000.00 a month. I have no problem paying and tipping $150.00 for my feet and hands. It is very hurtful that I am judged by the color of my skin every where I go. I dress very classy I have graduated from 2 private very expensive colleges. I work hard to be a responsible professional Black Woman. I am too afraid to do any crime that will put me in jail and make me lose my amazing lifestyle. Yet I am judged every time I come into this location for services. I come to this location for convenience on Sundays. Yet the white baseboards are dirty and there are a ton of spider webs and dust in all the corner's and behind the plants and the glass on the doors are filthy with hand prints and tape. I would much rather find a clean location that is not racist that is open on a Sunday. The sad part is that earlier in my career I worked with english as second language students that came to school filthy and hungry. I treated them with caring compassion and respect. That is how I would like to be treated. Is that too much to ask for as a clean paying customer? It breaks my heart at the thought of coming to this location because I know I will be judged and treated less than human. read more

This places has such potential. First off, it's beautiful inside. Very clean and inviting. Cool set-up of the manicure stations. The service...It was crazy trying to pick out a color. There are literally walls of polish. For me the fewer decisions I have to make the better. The woman who did my manicure was exceptionally nice. She did a great job on the manicure and polish. I always get shellac/gel, and this lasted about 2 weeks. I've had some last longer, some much shorter. A+ for her!! For me, it was the price. It wasn't worth the slightly nicer salon for the extra money. I've got similar services at similar salons for way cheaper. Also... I read some reviews where the owner or someone working there said they couldn't complete a service on someone because they were "too big" for the chairs. They told them the chairs would break. This seems absolutely ridiculous and it really kind of is. They do have this posted on their flyer that is on each station. It says something to the extent of "our chairs can only hold up to 250 lbs and we reserve the right to refuse service..." Kind of crazy if you ask me. read more

The salon offers no options to contact them other than Facebook message, so I sent them my experience and asked for an option for talking with someone at the salon. Whoever received my message on Facebook then "disliked" the message and did not acknowledge it. I have yet to hear from anyone from the salon. My experience: I went to this salon for the first time and was overall disappointed. The idea I had was very different from the product and when I tried to tell the technician that I didn't like the color, she failed to listen and offered extra coats as a solution. On top of this, I was with someone who also got their nails done and they were rushed into picking a color, then when they offered a color they wanted the technician gave them a color they wanted to use instead of the one my friend had wanted. We both had technicians that were short with us and made us feel less than welcomed. Do not go here!! The man with glasses does my nails and toes and took over THREE hours ! He did my toes well but my acrylic/gel French manicure took over 2 hours and still looked terrible when I left. He cut me twice and there were still hangnails and cuticles when he finally finished. I didn't have time to have him fix them as I had somewhere to be and I was extremely frustrated but so I called the next day and the owner yelled at me and said I would have to pay to fix them. I received the slowest and most inexperienced nail service here just over a week ago, and paid more than I've paid before for some quality manicures/pedicures. Several things that were extremely disappointing: - For a pedicure and gel polish change (NOT a full manicure), I was in the salon for over 2 hours. Not necessary. - For both my nails and toes, the technician had a brush and polish remover in which he had to touch up EVERY nail, as he could not do it freely and cleanly the first time. - The technician was ready to apply the gel polish and I could still see rough patches, peeling nail, and remnants from filing. Anyone who's every done gel knows they need to be smooth and clean to stay on! - The technician never asked how I liked my nails shaped. He put my hand in a funky angle to file and I ended up with pretty square and uneven nails. - The gel polish was on my skin and I left the salon picking at it and filing down in an attempt to save it from coming off in a week. I usually do my own gel polish because I'm fairly picky, but this was really sub par. My technician was really nice and the salon atmosphere is relaxing. I've been debating for a week now whether I would go back if I selected a technician that I know does a great job. Been here a handful of times, each time depressingly worst than the last. Overpriced, turtle-paced technicians, lack of customer service is comical. Two times I've sat down in my pedicure chair, the nail tech so kindly offered to tell me "how tired he is." Awesome. Thanks for the info. They do a good job if you give specific directions. I realized that I have to be very specific and tell them exactly what I want in detail to get good nails - in fact I've had to go back and get them fixed (which I had to pay WAY too much for). I wanted to leave a review because I was that shocked by the lack of care for doing the right thing. I wasn't impressed. I bought the most expensive pedicure they offered because I badly wanted to treat myself for the first time in a while. Which is the nuskin pedi, ok one my feet weren't ant softer the first time I took a bath my heels were completely rough and cracked, which also comes from the lack of quality in the pedicure procedure ... she hardly filed and smoothed out my feet. So anyways I even tipped well, because I'm a cosmetologist and work off tips and it was Christmas, so overall when I left I was like semi happy with it and can't deny I didn't feel better just from the pampering alone.. so I tipped 20 dollars on a 60 dollar service... thinking Merry Christmas, pay it forward.... Ok so 5 hours later .. after wearing slippers and everything all night, took a bath and apparently the polish was on too thick and never dried and immediately went to crap. So was annoyed, but it happens... found the time to go back in a day later to have it fixed... here's why I'm giving the bad review... After 60 dollars and a 20 dollar tip... it wasn't my fault the polish messed up... with these kind of services you should fix it for free... but being nice I even said... if there's a difference j charge for shellac ...ill pay the difference of cost from a typical polish change to shellac because I didn't wanna risk waiting and it mess up again... thinking 10 15 bucks.. however had it been my client I would've just done it for free after the nice tip... but whatever I go to check out and it was ANOTHER 37.50... the same girl didn't even fix it for starters someone else did, and then she charged me the full price for a shellac manicure !!! Wtf!! She literally took off the old and slapped in the new.. took 15mn... how is this god business, or service? I will never go back and my $120 pedicure... is just staring me in the face right now! Ughhh... genuinely ripped off... and it wasn't even a good massage.. nothing made this worth it... If I didn't work in the industry I do ...i would've had more guts to argue it... We waited 3 hours on a Thursday afternoon to get 2 people's nails done of just a polish change. 6 of us went and only 2 came home with their nails done they were taking so long. One of the girls who got her nails done had a horrible design on her nail and the lady had to redo them and that took another 30 minutes added on to the 3 hours. Then when it came time to pay the man just walked away with my change and we had to ask 2 times to get our $5 back. It's also freezing cold in here. Don't come here it's horrible and definitely not worth it. read more

Just got a no chip i.e. Gel manicure and they did a great job! Very friendly and its a nice clean place. If you want to watch the game on Sundays they had it on. As long as my gel last a reasonable amount of time, then ill be back. read more

This salon has so much potential, but hasn't improved in the last 6 months. I'm seeing the same problems that it has when it first opened. First off, if you see the photos of the atmosphere, it does indeed look like a beautiful well lit salon and spa. They've got large TVs to watch and depend less on human-to-human interaction. I've gotten a medium-length stiletto full set with acrylic polish twice here. If you're looking to have Instagram worthy nails with different designs on each nail, obviously this isn't the place for you - it just isn't what they advertise. If you ask nicely, they may be willing to put crystals on you -- even then I tried not to go crazy with requests. When they're busy, I've found the quality of their work can suffer and they'll rush you along. There is little human-to-human interaction which is really awkward at times. The appearance must be what brings in the hordes of people who can never be serviced on time. It is a very clean establishment. But if you're not looking to wait at least an hour as a walk-in before being serviced, make your appointment ahead of time. For the price I honestly wouldn't return, knowing that there are much better salons with more options - I'm not willing to justify paying a higher price for a salon's appearance. read more

Clean and elegant nail salon with a nice selection of polish and gel. My only complaint is that when they get busy they rush you along. One tech burned my finger with the nail file to the point of bleeding- he then put pressure on the bleed with his bare hand. I had to tell him not to touch other people's blood with bare hands and tell him to wash his hands. They could use a little more infection controll training for themselves. read more

to begin with i wanted to give this place 0 stars but the app wont let me. i dont think waiting at a nail salon for 2 and a half hours AFTER being told that it was a 15 minute wait was an idea of a good time. i also dont think it was fair when many other people walked in after we did (getting a fill as we were) were helped right away. we constantly were asking how much longer and were told every time that the wait was 15 more minutes. when we got up to leave one of the employees was trying to convince us to stay and wouldn't let us leave. my friend had a gift card they wouldn't refund her. this was definitely not a good experience and i as well as all my friends will not be going back. they also did this same think to another girl waiting to get a fill. their service is not good at all and i strongly suggest not going there for nails. i recommend grand nails they are a good place with great service! read more
