I want to start to off by saying that I literally made a yelp account just to leave this review. This place is DUSTY. Among the many bad things that happened during my experience - let me leave you with a few highlights. I went in for a FILL for acrylics. Eddie immediately started to cut off my nails aggressively without telling me what was going on. He cut them so carelessly that he cracked my entire pinky nail down the center. When it was bleeding and I said it hurt, he kept digging with his crusty tools. They then accused me of not making an appointment in such a rude way. When I showed them the number I called, they just said "i forgot to write your name down." I ended up leaving without having my nails done and in tears. At the end of the day, if you're reading mixed reviews of this place and considering taking the risk, just don't. read more

Nice people and a cute place. I got an acrylic fill and it was done sloppy. They shaped my nails very well, but the paint job wasn't the best. I asked for a design that wasn't very complex and he said he couldn't do it, so I left without the nails I wanted. They also cut my skin and made my cuticles bleed on multiple nails. Overall decent place, but not going there again. Don't go for designs. read more

This was the absolute worst nail salon i've ever been to. My friends and I went for my birthday, and I would've rather watched paint dry than have this horrific experience. First of all, the older man who did my pedicure made me extremely uncomfortable. He continued to ask me many personal questions, and stared at me. He asked things like how old I was, which I'm only 13, asked me who I was talking to, and where i went to school. and tried to convince my friend her boyfriend was cheating on her. he, word for word, said: "You better keep an eye on him, he's probably hooking up with other girls." This is completely inappropriate to say in front of any client, but especially since I'm a 13 year old girl. I told him I didn't want to have my feet buffed because i was too ticklish, and he insisted. I must've told him 3 times, and even afterwards he picked up the sponge thing and tried to do it anyways. I literally had to stand up and tell him, "I said no." before he complied. He put a very very small amount of lotion on my legs, but then continued to massage my legs for 20 minutes. That was my experience. However, my friends was much much worse. She went to get a manicure with dip nails, and they were HORRENDOUS. (The photo below is what they looked like.) The man who did her nails was smoking, had gun keychains, and glared at her. In the middle of the appointment he said, "I'm going to take a break." He got up, went outside, and smoked. He then proceeded to get a Fanta from his car. This took 5 minutes before he even got back to my friend. The nails were lumpy, had bubbles, were completely different lengths, jagged edges, and were wonky. They looked terrible. We told him that they were unacceptable, and said they needed to be fixed. He, very aggressively, began to file down her nails. He literally cut her, and began to put alcohol on the cut. My friend continued to say, "ow" but he didn't stop. Another one of my friends repeatedly asked him what is in the bottle, and he wouldn't respond. She asked for a bandaid, and he said no. I finally told him he needed to stop, as he was visibly hurting her. He finally stopped, but was obviously angry. Now for my third friends experience. She was also doing a dip manicure. She had picked out three different shades of blue she wanted. They had none of them. It turns out, they only had about 7 on all 4 nail color sample pallets. After she found another color she liked, she sat down to get her nails done. The lady grabbed the wrong color. It had a different name and different number. My friend pointed out that it was a different color, but the tech insisted it was the same. She pointed out the color multiple times, and every time she said it was the same. My friend also asked for a accent nail, which the tech did not give her. Once my friend noticed she had no accent nail and pointed it out, she simply painted the accent color over the incorrect color. After her nails were all painted, she finally confirmed it was a completely different color then the one she picked out. So she had to get them redone. Once all of our horrendous nails were done, they only offered us a $5 discount. Although we should've gotten them free, we took a $15 discount. Please, never go here. Is there a way to give a review negative stars? Because that's what this experience was for me. My friends and I went there for two manicures and two pedicures for a birthday. We originally had an appointment at 3 pm. We were running about 15 minutes late so we called ahead and let them know. My two friends getting pedicures sat down in about ten minutes of us being there. The man doing my first friends toes was very inappropriate. He continued to ask her very personal questions about her age where she went to school and who she was texting. He also insisted to my second friend getting the pedicure that her boyfriend was cheating on her because when he was younger he hooked up with multiple girls. The other women doing the second pedicure kept calling me babe and made me very uncomfortable. When it was time for my manicure it was about 4 pm. After I picked out about three different blues they told me that the only had certain colors on the nail pallet. There was about 7 colors out of the 3 pallets they had. After I picked a color the tech went and grabbed a color that was a different name. I pointed out to her that it was different and she continued to say "no same number same number" I told her that I wanted a white accent nail which she totally forgot. Once she had the polish on I was able to confirm that it looked totally different and was not the same color. She went back to saying "no same number same number" the color that she picked out was 530 the color I wanted was 030 which I pointed out. Another lady went and found the right color which then they painted over the color I didn't want. She also painted my accent color over all the polish. Eventually my nails were done and looked okay. My last friend had the worst experience ever. The male tech doing her nails was doing the worst job and half way through got up to go take a "break" he went outside to smoke. When he came back he didn't even wash his hands and went back to doing my friends nails. Once the nails were "finished" they looked terrible. As in the picture they were lumpy, uneven, and bubbly. He Told my friends mom that it was all because of the polish so he made my friend pick out a new polish and aggressively took her polish off and put the new one on. It still looked bad and he ended up cutting her hand. After she asked for a band aid he put this liquid on it that mad he wince and say "ow ow" I asked him what it was multiple times because I wanted to know what he was doing. He profusely replied "it's anti sting." Which isn't even a thing. When it was time to leave they only offered us a $5 discount. We had the worst experience ever. We ended up walking away with $5 off each our services. I wouldn't never recommend this service ever in my life. We ended up staying until 5:20!!! Never ever go to this salon!!! read more

I visited this salon last Friday. I had a pedicure and had just wanted my fingernails trimmed and buffed. They asked about using clear on my fingernails and I agreed. I liked how the nails were cut and shaped. However no top coat was put on my toenails so they are already chipped. I am doing a touch up at home and adding a top coat. My fingernails received only one coat of polish so that was peeling by Saturday. I was not paying attention so not sure if a base coat was put on my toes. My recommendation if you use this salon is pay attention and make sure they use four coats of polish. Disappointed that this did not last. read more

I came here after having a bad experience from another nail salon in grand haven. I got a pedicure and a full set. I've always been very picky with my nails anytime I get acrylics. I'm very pleased with how my nails came out. They are the same length and they are straight. The shape is spot on as well. The salon was very clean and well decorated for a nail salon. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because my heels on my feet weren't cleaned up very well. Other than that I'll return. read more
