Well... Even though I'd like to give Nail Touch NOW NAIL SPA WHAAAT??? a 5 Star review. I am sadly disappointed. Yes, when I had my last appt. I was not informed that Kathy the previous owner had sold the Salon. I did get the ever so familiar feeling of, something is NOT RIGHT!! The Tech doing my nails/pedi was having difficulty with Gel application. A coworker was helping her. She seemed nervous. All and all. Everything seemed to have gone well. I had to travel. Left JAX. Three days after my Gel Mani & Gel Pedi. SURPRRISE??? Has you can see on the photo I Posted*** This return visit.(Friday 7/21/2017) Vann,Owner was friendly, cordial. Apologized for the problem with the Gel Pedi(peeling off) only 3 days after the service. *** Keep in mind, Gel is an X-Tra 15$ when getting a Pedi*** Due to "The obvious, a Pedi/Polish will last Twice as long. Gen. Not Chip. And, maintain the Shine. She also gave me an Acrylic Fill, Gel polish Manicure. Very nice. ***PROBLEM- Time to Ck Out. X amount of $$$ No,Nail Services Are Not Cheap. It is worth it. Unless you want bad Service, Product and WORSE DIRTY INSTRUMENTS. Or Disease:-((( At Check out. After having already Payed.I was VERY SURPRISED. She did NOT MENTION THE POOR APPLICATION OF THE GEL. Was in the area for brunch on a Thursday and decided to try this place. The decor is bright walls with nail emphasis art. Spacious. They offer 400+ regular lacquer polish and 100+ gel polishes. There is a large selection of gel polishes that have matching regular lacquer polish. Great for those who like gel mani and regular polish pedi to match. There are 6 comfy pedi massaging stations and 5 nail stations. There were 4 techs working on a Thursday. My $35 pedi was awesome! My leg and feet were massaged for over 10 minutes during and after the exfoliating treatment. Hot stones were complimentary due to the long wait when we arrived. It felt amazing. My husband was thoroughly relaxed during his pedi. We enjoyed talking with Cathy the whole time. Both our nail techs were great doing our pedis. My gel mani was done quickly. My only gripe is that my cuticles were not cleanly trimmed. Very ragged. My daughter's were the same. Both done by same nail tech. About the Owner: Owner's name is Cathy. She took over the business about 9 months ago and has been working hard against the poor management from previous owners. She has another nail salon (Nail Spa) down the street that she has owned for 16 years. Her clients tend to follow her and best nail techs to this location. Cathy was very attentive and accommodating during our entire time there. She is extremely accommodating to her older clients. One came in with an arm in a sling and Cathy offered to message her shoulder area. The client looked so pleased while Cathy was carefully messaging the slinged arm. An older couple came in for pedi's and Cathy was hugging them and kept up with their conversation. The couple were lovingly pampered. It was touching to see this at a nail salon. Cathy takes her business seriously and hopes to continue growing this location. Advice to future Visitors: Let Cathy know before you leave if you are dissatisfied with your service. Or call afterwards. She wants to address any issues or dissatisfaction immediately and make any necessary changes, if possible. Call ahead for wait time in case she is down nail techs. Final Thoughts: I will visit again next time I am in Jax but will make sure to instruct the tech to do a better job with the gel mani. My pedi was amazing and I doubt I will find anything to compare to it back home. read more

I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and chose this place due to the really good reviews it had and the proximity to the AirBnB I was staying at. The majority of the previous reviews are from prior management. Either way, I felt so welcome from the moment I stepped into the salon. Jackie was very sweet and did a nice manicure with a wonderful, long massage on my hands and arms. I almost fell asleep to be honest. To make matters worse (or better), she offered to do my eyebrows where honestly really almost fell asleep because I was lying down. While I was getting my manicure I had a nice chat with a gentleman who had also worked there and had lived in the Philippines. As a Filipino, I get REALLY excited when non-Filipinos go and always want to ask them about their experience so that was very enjoyable. I believe the owner's name was Kathy and she was so very kind and incredibly thankful that I had come in. I'm sure you all know how hard it can be to establish clientele for anything when you're the newbies in town so take my advice, go here, and leave happy. read more

I'm here visiting family and we wanted to get a pedicure. I yelped a good place to come and this was first nail salon that popped up on my search that had a four or more star rating. We called and they were able to fit us in the same day ... on a Saturday!. We came in and were greeted right away. We picked out our colors and went to the pedicure chairs where they were cleaning them ( a good sign) ... they offered us drinks and we both enjoyed our pedicures. They were done well and the techs were nice and thorough. The owner is very helpful,friendly and funny. If we lived around the area we would certainly make this our " go to". We will definitely come visit this nail salon again when we come back into town. read more

Maybe it was an off day, but I went here with my mom and cousin when I was visiting home and we all had a very average experience. We all got SNS manicures. The color selection was great and the woman who did my nails was very nice and friendly, however the manicure seemed to be bare minimum. Im used to manicures where my nails are first soaked in water, cuticles trimmed, hands massaged, etc. All we got was the sns paint. They also started fairly far down on our nails -- not very close to the cuticles. Maybe it was an extra cost we weren't aware of to get everything else. My nails looked nice though! read more

Update to my previous review to which I was already in love with this place: The salon is under new ownership. They are fast, reliable, always have new colors and my nails NEVER chip. I'm going on three weeks and returning today for a mani/pedi because my gel nails have grown out. Other than that they still look great though. Highly recommend! This is a new nail place and I am new to the area and haven't found a place to get my nails done. We checked this place out because they could squeeze me and some friends in for two peds and a sns manicure. I really enjoyed the pedicure and loved how everything turned out. However my friend who had the sns said they person doing her nails said he didn't like doing sns nails and complained the whole time she had them done, so if you want sns maybe research local places to get them done and call ahead of time. If you want a fabulous pedicure then this is an excellent choice and I plan to visit them in a few weeks for another one! read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had!! My sister came into town for a visit and the nail attendant/owner (young early 20's) made extremely offensive comments throughout the appointment. The comments were rude and even the staff kept apologizing. He made several negative comments about my sister being unmarried in her thirties and kept expressing his judgement about her having a career. Absolutely, disgusted that just because she doesn't have a ring on her finger he could make her feel worthless without even knowing who she was. I told the owner several times his comments were offensive and he would just laugh. When we left we did not pay for the service and the staff informed this was not the first time it had happened. Unfortunately he is the owner and there was no one we could complain to get him fired. Please woman of the community if you have a sister or a friend do yourself a favor do not go there and let a man belittle you!!! read more

Came to town for vacation and saw this place on yelp. Easily a 5 minute walk so I decided to go. Very nice people, great selection. I got a pedicure even though I am extremely ticklish. They did their best to be gentle. Everything looks great! My only regret is that I didn't think about what color I wanted for my gel manicure and chose one that I don't love. Best nail salon I have ever been to. I've been going to get my nails done for over 25 years and I have finally found "my salon." For a number of months I was going to Modish on a recommendation from a friend. Each time I went I left thinking, "This will do......". I finally found this salon and Mei fixed my messed up crappy nails, had a fair price, and my nails lasted. The salon was nicely decorated and I got personal attention. The second time I went back...wait for it....they remembered my name! After months of going to Modish they never one time remembered my name. This salon even offered me some wine. There is apparently a brand new owner, Vannalynn, who is going above and beyond. Last week there was a lady who forgot her house keys in the salon. When the nail tech realized she walked out without them, she ran out into the parking lot, in pouring down rain, to make sure the customer got her keys! I love this place. read more
