Absolutely never go to this salon after coming from another nail shop who could not complete a soak off and left acrylic all over my nails I came to this place to get the rest of the acrylic off and get regular clear polish on my nails and was charged 30$ after stating regular clear polish is $15 and gel CLEAR POLISH IS $27 so if you want expensive,ridiculous prices and horrible customer service go here! read more

The people were nice but the tech complIned how bad my feet were and when was the last time I had a pedicure. She said she would have to charge me more since my feet were so bad. Also, when my nails where drying she told me the total and asked how much for a tip. I have never gone to a nail salon and they asked for a tip. I do tip but never in my life have I been asked. If I could put a half star I would, personally I would not go to Lynn idk about the other ones but Lynn was rude she caught an attitude every time I told her this isn't what I wanted...DO NOT Recommend lynn she begged me to ask my mom to get gel polish when I told her i wasn't comfortable asking that so she couldn't another attitude then when it was time to put my top coat on she just put oil on top ik the difference bc I do nails and when I asked for square shaped she gave me some square some coffined shaped. i would give lower if I could. I did a last minute stop with my sister for her bday. We both requested pedicures and they were the worst pedicures of our lives! Both workers polished not only our toe nails but our toes also. After pointing it out the techs were clueless and one took a nail file and almost filed my entire toe mail away - I literally had to snatch my foot away. My sister had bubbles in her Polish and didn't receive any oil. She was left with dry ashy feet with skin hanging from the excessive scrubbing. let me just say she didn't have much dead skin on feet at all. Dirty and very cluttered.. no ambiance whatsoever. There is not even a reception desk. Just a clipboard sitting on a half wall next to one of the technicians. I signed in and waited for 1/2 hour. In that time, not one person greeted me to give me color samples or let me know how long it would be. Finally, when I was just about to leave, They called me back. The tech handed me one ring of samples which didn't have a whole lot of colors I liked but I was able to find something. She was nice.. told me she would trim my cuticles even though I didn't ask for a manicure (just got a gel polish change), but she worked very quickly. I was in the chair for less than 20 min total. After she was done she asked if I liked it - at a quick glance they looked fine - so I said yes. Then she applied some lotion and gave me a short hand massage (which I thought was nice since I didn't pay for a manicure), so I left her a good tip. It was not until I left that I noticed what a sloppy job she had done! My nails were not filed properly and were all jagged. There was polish all over my cuticles and the color was not all the way to the edges. Polish was uneven and in some areas so thin you could see through it! Four days later and the polish is already chipping! I would go back and complain but the salon is not close to my home! So horrible!!! DO NOTTTT COME IN HERE! this salon is sooo not worth your time or your money! The lady that did my nails did an awful job she looked like she didn't know what she was doing and she cut my nails wayyy too short when I told her not to. I picked yellow and that was the dumbest decision of my life‍ cuz I asked for light sunny yellow! She left for 10 minutes and she came with this disgusting awful vomit color. even when she was done, she left nail polish all over my fingers and my hand and she didn't even try to wipe it off. The lady was so unfriendly I tried to have some conversation with her but she ignored me or she answered me in away that made me feel like she didn't wanna talk to me. She was talking with her coworkers so laudly when I was trying to ask her questions. I've been going here only because it is one of the closest nail salons to Tremont. The nail techs are nice, yet the atmosphere of the place was not. I have an extremely busy schedule, so appointments are important to me. If you have an appointment, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes after the scheduled time. The last time I went in, I had an appointment at 7:20 pm, and I was not seated until 7:45. I had to remind one of the techs that I had an appointment. This place is extremely busy, yet they have about 7 chairs to sit in. Last time I was there, I was shoulder-checked by a young girl for trying to squeeze my way into the establishment. I went with my best friend to this salon to get a full set of acrylic nails for homecoming. We went the morning of homecoming and our appointment was at 10:00. The place has approximately 6 or 7 chairs in a very small waiting area. There were around five other people waiting for their appointments also. My friend and I waited over 20 minutes to be seated, meanwhile all the nail stations were empty. Two ladies came into the salon after we were checked in and got seated before us. The other people waiting with me were looking at each other because they knew someone walked in and was seated before us all. I was finally seated at around 10:30 and i also had a hair appointment at 11, so I was frustrated that I was going to be late to my hair appointment (which I was, I arrived there at 11:30 and almost lost my appointment). The lady starts doing my nails and is careless with how she treats my nails. She's constantly looking around and talking to her coworkers loudly as she's using the tools on my nails. She barely spoke to me, but when she did, she spoke in a way that I couldn't tell she was talking to me and not one of her coworkers. I missed a few things that she said to me and she thought I was ignoring her, then got an attitude. She was filing my nails and cut my finger and it started bleeding. On reflex, I pulled back a little and she got frustrated and said "you're okay, you're okay", it hurt a lot, and she didn't care. She did my nails fast and i felt very rushed. I showed her a picture of what color nails I wanted and she was very confused by the idea of rose gold and black on my nails, and told me silver would look better. I chose rose gold because it matches my dress, and i told her that and she gave me a disgusted look. The only reason I chose to go to this salon was because I thought it would be the cheapest in my area, but a coffin shape and tip made it just as expensive as every other nail salon, which was $40. Overall, this salon was not worth $40 of my money and all of my time wasted there. I prefer Allure a lot better, which is also in Ridge Park Square, a much more careful and inviting place, that also does very pretty nails. read more

Do not go here! Take your money to somewhere with nice employees who do not cut your finger. I got acrylics and had to beg her to make them the length I wanted. She wanted them to be super long but I cannot have super long nails due to being in a lab everyday. I literally begged to her to cut them shorter. It should not matter what she wanted considering I am the paying customer. Also - she gave me a really bad cut on my finger that bled and has still not healed 8 days later. I was shopping with a friend and we decided to get manicurse as a reward for all of our hard work driving in the car. Randomly saw this shop and decided to try it out. We should have kept driving. Our first warning sign was when the manicure was only 12 bucks. However, instead of worrying, the cheapskate in me got super excited. I went to pick out a color and could not find a single one that I liked. Out of about a hundred colors. All the nail polish looked extremely old, had separated and reminded me of the early '90s. After a couple minutes, and still not finding a color they asked if I wanted to see their OPI wall. Um, yes. They led me to the back corner of a back room where they had about 15 OPI colors hidden away. Why they weren't out so everyone could see them, I don't know. Even those colors sucked. But, I finally picked out one that I semi-liked and got my 12 dollar manicure. I have freakishly small hands and in order to keep them from looking like they belong to a 12 year old boy I have to grow my nails out. This is very hard since I also like to bite my nails. I take pride in concurring my vices. However, this chick trimmed all my hardwork down and gave me two coats of a watered down nail polish. The nail polish must have been a couple years old because my nails looked like they had watercolor paint on them. Also, there was nail polish underneath my nail when she was done. I do a better job at home and I'm not very good. It was horrible. However, we did have a lovely conversation as to how people don't tip very well. That was super awkward. Took my Mom her for mani-pedi. She had a 1:00 appointment. Started her at 2:00. Lied to me that the person before her took an hour picking out a color and that was why she was behind. I missed a scheduled appointment for car repair because of the delay. Girl says "sorry", I said "credit her account". No credit. My 83 year old mother was taken advantage of. Horrible customer service. I've been going to this location for years and today I was not treated appropriately. I came in with enough time to get a pedicure and manicure. I sat there for 30 mins before I was told by Kathy that she couldn't service me and I should come back tomorrow for Sue because she had to leave and go pick up her husband. I then asked could I be assisted by someone else and they all gave me a blank stare look like deer caught in the headlights as if I was speaking a language in which is unheard of. I was told no. I then stated why have me sit here for 30 mins to be told I cannot be serviced.. I'm furious and they clearly are a bunch of incompetent fools. I went there with my mother for a pedicure and a full set I wanted black tips on my toes got navy blue. For my full set I got acrylic under the nAil that bothers me. The nails for the middle finger are not the same length. It chipped right when I got home and I looked in the light that the lines were not strait and weren't filled in all the way. I will never go here again. The only reason I went here in the first place was because my usual salon is closed on Sunday and I needed my nails done bad. So I gave it a shot. She got acrylic.all over my fingers. Cut my cuticles all up with the drill. When she did my gel Polish she got it all over my skin around my fingers and had to keep trying to pull and drill it off. Over all it was a painful unpleasant experience luckily I'm handy with a nail file so I am able to make them look decent till it's time for another fill in. read more

Horrible experience, just aweful....very rude customer service. My 16 year old daughter wanted a fill in and I wanted a full set. I asked to see more nail art of any kind and she instantly got offended and brushed me off....then took my daughter to begin her nails. Short looking lady stands maybe 4'8 with short hair, very rude to the point where I declined getting my nails done. Once she put the nail color on which my daughter had a change of heart she asked if she can pick another color. The little lady then replies next time don't have me polish a full hand if you don't like the color. Well if the little lady wasn't holding a conversation on the telephone maybe my daughter could have warned her ahead of time. This place sucks and is dirty. My mom, sister, and I all got our toes done. The place is very small. All three of our nail techs were very blunt and rude. Our pedicures were done in the storage room. My sister had the same towel as the person before her. Their nail drying station is tucked away in a little corner. I currently and trapped and cannot get out without ruining my pedicure or the lady's next to me. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. 0/10 would not recommend. My nail tech rushed through me. Which I don't understand why because there wasn't anybody waiting. I have some polish on my skin and since it is red it stands out. My favorite place is Hollywood nails on W. 130th street. I've been going to the salon for over 10 years. Sue is absolutely fantastic and does amazing work. The rest of my experiences over the past two years have been just terrible. I took my daughter to get her nails done today while Sue did mine. When I came back and it was time to leave she had ignored my 12-year-old's request to stop putting a design on her finger that was far too large to be seen. I ended up paying for my daughter's nails to be done and airbrush for vacation and you can't even tell what the design is on her now. I do not have time to get her nails done again I had to pay for a terrible job and her nails look horrific to go on vacation to Mexico at the age of 12. I am by no means picky when it comes to nail salons but, this is the worst ever. I can look past the fact that it's a bit sketchy looking in there but the quality of work is terrible! There are very few colors to choose from, all cheap nail polish, and I got a full set but no manicure!! She didn't even try to push back the cuticles.
