I feel like ONE star is too generous! I have gotten my nails done here for years and have brought my daughters along periodically without any issues. Today, however, I received the WORST SERVICE and left absolutely LIVID with how I was treated. I asked for a new full set with my nails cut to be the long length I wear. I am left with thick, pink ugly nubs! When I asked to speak to a manager multiple times during the nail process the entire salon was filled with every nail tech going off in another language. At the end the best the "manager" would discount such inadequate service was less than 10%. I didn't even bother discussing my daughters uneven manicure because clearly they could careless about their customer's satisfaction! We will not return! read more

The lady that does my nails is Peach. I love her work!! I have been going to her for a month or two now. She pays attention to detail and charges you the same amount every time (as they should) for a fill. She is very gentle when working with your hands. And asks questions to make sure she does everything as you like. I go to college and the prices are right in my budget and I'm glad I found a nail tech that I can fully trust. I haven't gotten acrylic nails in at least 5 years. In fact, I went to Nail Love for a simple manicure for myself and a polish change for my daughter---a treat to kill time on a Sunday. I ended up getting a full set based on a photo I had in my cell phone--oh a whim, I asked if they could do it and to which they said they could replicate. $26 for the full set with paint. I wish I had the name of the nail tech who worked on me: she was so precise and detailed that I've gotten so many compliments thinking they are my natural nails. She kept them light and thin. Seriously, I'm really impressed with these---I usually want to pick them off after a few days. I'm not one who gets her nails done regularly, but because of my experience this time I will make it my go-to place for the next time. Was my first time here and was told $23 for a full set with regular polish. She made them a lot shorter than what I wanted and a few of them are crooked! She didn't let me look at the polish selection just asked me what color I wanted (good thing I already had an idea) she did have to keep gluing the nail on and making little fixes. I've never had gel polish so I don't know the difference and at the end she charges me $30 because she used gel when I specifically asked for regular. Would give a 0 star if I could. Unsanitary pedicure, lady went from her gloves hands on someone's foot scraping it to putting those same hands in my water to check my water temp after I told her it was cold. Sat in The pedicure chair for 20 mins with no jets or bubbles while my friend got a pedicure and I was fine just wanted the water heated up until someone got to me. Asked the person doing her pedicure to add some warm, not sure why she had to put her hands in my water especially straight after touching someone else's foot. Finally someone else came over to help after I had to ask her 3 times to stop touching that persons feet then putting her hands in my water. Then the bowl wouldn't drain and the employee and manager both told me they had sewer and drainage issues. I then asked the manager for their state board info and she did everything in her power to not give me the contact info so I could report them. Grabbed my arm and even tried to block me from leaving, was trying to get me to still do a pedicure, which at that point I did not want anymore. I informed her that I was a professional too and I knew that her withholding the mail salons license info is against Indiana's state boards laws, and she finally gave me the frame it was in behind the desk. It took basically threatening her to get the info. Sad and no run professionally. Also noticed not enough hanging licenses for the number of people working in the salon. The infection my guy friend got in his legs because of nail loves lack of cleanliness almost cost him his life. It started from the pedicure tech scratching the top of his leg several times during the massage that broke just enough skin to allow bacteria in. 2 days later he had to go to the doctor where they assured him that the folliculitis, pseudomonas, and MRSA (mersa) he had in his legs was definitely from the pedicure and them not cleaning properly between customers. After 3 days of antibiotics he got worse and was instructed to go to the ER immediately where are they hooked him to IV antibiotics. After 5 days they were finally ready to release him and gave him his first dose of take home meds. He almost immediately feel sick and went towards the restroom. Luckily the nurse was there to break his fall as he passed out and his throat started to quickly swell shut from a severe allergic reaction to the meds they gave him. After his 8-Day stay at the hospital that almost cost him his life I will never again go to nail love or any other salon that does not use clear plastic liners and their pedicure tubs. I'm not the biggest fan of this place. My mom, sister, cousin, and I came here on a Tuesday. The first thing I wasn't a fan of was that all the technicians laughed at me when I said I wanted to sit in the middle seat. I found that to not be at all funny. Secondly, my person rushed through the nail care portion. I'm pretty sure I bled at one point and asked about it and was told "it's fine." Also, I was almost tricked into an upgrade I was told I needed because I have "so much callous" on my feet. I said no, the. She said "okay. Ten dollar more." I had repeat that I didn't want to pay extra. She then seemed to get mad at my choice and was quite harsh on my feet, even with my protests. Everything seemed rushed and it was not a relaxing experience. I don't know if that was because I refused the "nu treatment" or what, but I wasn't a fan. I also really don't like it when the technicians talk to each other the whole time. The only thing that saved this review was that I did really like the eyebrow wax I received. I will continue to go to queen nails and I suggest you save your money and do the same. read more
