These were for my maternity shoot. I asked to change the color because it's hideous and the it needed to be cleaned up and they got so upset at me. They started saying I was a horrible customer and to never come back because I told them I was unhappy with the quality and service. I mean look at the pictures! It speaks for itself ! And to top it all off they wanted $75 for those nails! I wanted to cut them off and walk out without paying but I paid and I left, will never go back. Not worth the price. $25 yes $70? Had pedi appointment on 8 June @ 12 with Liam - have used him a couple times before and he's always done great. Well this time not the case. I asked for a simple design - or so I thought....see pics. Shop was busy, had appt but didn't start until 12:25. Liam tried a couple times to do design but could not and asked a coworker who said "easy" -- Liam went to his next pedi, the coworker left and went to his next nail customer and there I was left waiting and wondering!! I waited over 20 minutes thinking someone would notice--only after I said something did anyone even care! A different coworker came over to TRY to do design -- horrible! I was on vacation and needed some nail care. This place was close. Reviews weren't great but the photos of the nails impressed me enough to give it a shot. The shop itself is beautiful with chandeliers and classy touches. The employees were kind enough considering how busy they were. The tech I had seemed a bit rushed but did a good job and had me out of there in an hour and 15. That included soaking off the sns I already had on my nails and adding three tips. I paid $60 for pink and white ombré which I thought was a little expensive. I had planned to pay around 50 by the prices of the high quality salon I normally go to in NC. The tech offered to add accent diamonds or designs. I showed her a flower I wanted on just my two ring fingers. She said it would be $5 for each design. I decided against it. She then said she'd do them both for 5 "only for me". All in all I am pleased with the quality and how quick she got me back to my vacation. read more

I used to go to Andy, he was great but he moved. Now I see Tony, he's been doing a good job with my nails. I pick and bite if I don't have nails put on. I get the fake nails since mine are so short and the acrylic pink and white powder on top. He's been quick and thorough. I have a lot of particulars too, I'm not easy to please. I have two arthritic fingers that point off in the wrong direction and I ask him to skew those nails in the opposite direction, he always does this now. I also really prefer the powder to be applied quite thin... he doesn't recommend it, but does it for me, and, all being said, I'm happy. I gave 4 stars because the price has gone from $45.00 to $50.00 to $55.00 in a short period of time. I may not be able to afford it here, that's my only concern. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I will be disputing the charges. I scheduled an appointment on line for the following day and received a confirmation call in the morning. That was the only pleasant exchange. I requested a full set of coffin/almond shaped long nails and a deluxe pedicure formyself and a fill with a deluxe pedicure for my girlfriend. He insisted on dip over my nail and promised they would be long and shaped as in the picture. When he did not add length I asked again and showed the picture. My girlfriend asked for a fill and they took he nails off despite her asking several times to just do a fill. Her technician insisted he put them on her a month ago and it was time to replace them. I explained to the owner that we just moved to SC and her set was from 2 weeks prior in CO. We had just moved into SC 3 days prior. He said she was lying. So, I paid $225 to leave I did not receive the services requested, my girlfriend was insulted and I will never go back. Made an appointment for tomorrow at CC You and will pay twice this week just to get these removed. To post this I was forced to give 1 star. It is not deserved. read more

I called Nail FX To make an appointment today ... the owner said we don't have any openings until 1215 so I said OK I will take that appointment. I got there and they were all so rude to me.... As if I was intruding. Well I waited a half hour and they finally put me to soak my feet. By 1:00 one girl started to clip my toenails and then looked up and saw that her regular had arrived and she blew me off and said someone else is gonna have to do my pedicure. So I waited another 15 minutes for someone to come over. I questioned why I could not have the 1215 appointment ahead of these people that just walked in and they all just rolled their eyes... Apparently there is some management issues there and they told me they are shortstaffed. I have to say that Danny did a wonderful job when he finally got to me. Don't blame him at all! (That is why the 2 stars). But... They charged me an extra five dollars to remove the gel on my toenails and also another dollar because they needed to use individual sanitized special kits on everyone now! When I came the person I was booked with was about half way through a customer. I figured that's fine - I can wait. I didn't think going for a pedicure with my sister will be so disappointing !!!!!! my sister goes to this place because is the closest to her house shes been there before with her daughter in law and she never had a problem but today at 2:30 pm we walk in to this nail salon she want it to treat me for a pedicure we arrive to Nail Fx salon they sat us in the pedicure chairs and they even run the water and soak-in our feet , but then two ladies came in to the nail salon i guess for pedicures too, one of the employee of this nail salon told us to get up that the ladies that just came in had an appointment and they couldn't help us , that if we want it to get a pedicure we should make an appointment, i think this is the most unprofessional nail salon i ever been to , i would not recommend this place at all . Disappointed! I had the mani-pedi and booked an appointment. On the phone, I asked twice if they could accommodate me on time. The gentleman said yes twice. I waited approximately 15 min, which isn't horrible, but it definitely indicated the level of poor service I was to encounter. On the phone, I also asked if they have non-latex gloves since I'm highly allergic to latex. The gentleman said they did. The specialist put on latex gloves. I mentioned that they look like latex. She said they aren't. I asked to see the box. She grumbled and went to get the box, which was clearly marked LATEX gloves. Oh boy! The specialist was upset. A gentleman spoke to her in another language. A different specialist came to help me. She didn't wear gloves. (I guess that is okay, but I'd prefer she wear gloves. Most places have nitrile gloves. I offered to bring some when I was on the phone, but I was reassured they had non-latex gloves.) When I sat down, I mentioned the water was cold for my pedicure, the answer was "it's already full." I asked if we could drain some cold water out of the foot tub. I was ignored. Nail polish was on my skin on each foot and each hand. Heck, I could do a better job myself at home in the dark. The massages were brief and interrupted with personal phone calls. I'd completely understand if the specialist apologized and politely said she needed to answer her phone, but just rolling away without any reason or word was unexpected. I've been here a few times and was not impressed, however, I was in a rush the other day and against my better judgement went it again. I sat in the pedicure chair for about 30 min and finally asked if I could get some water in the basin so I could soak my feet?! Hello?! I think they wanted me to leave...and I should have! Another 15 min went by and finally the lady came to do pedi. She kept complaining of how tired she was and was ready to go home. My little sister and I are visiting some family and decided to come get some pedicures, we were seated immediately, which was nice but the service itself was completely overpriced. We both selected the deluxe pedicure, but by the way the service went it felt like we might as well have gotten the lowest priced one, it felt rushed and the quality and time spent on the massages was little to none, it was clear my nail tech wasn't focused on doing my pedicure well but rather focused on gossiping and rushing through it. New management here. Andy is the best in the area. I've been going to Andy for 4 years. Very clean place and business has picked up considerably since Andy got there!!! We have been going to Nail FX for over 5 years. Before Andy or Jenny or anyone there now. Three of us went every 6 weeks to a tune of 170.00 plus tips. Never had an issue until Saturday November 9,2019. A lady I had not seen before herded us like cattle then she was the one to give me a pedicure. She did not massage my legs or give stone treatment. I didn't say anything because quite honestly she was in such a rush I was ready for her to move on. My next thought was she maybe was giving me the lesser package. When I got to the cash register she was charging the full 170.00. When asked about the lack of a massage she became offensive. The so called manager (Andy) just sat there and didn't say a word or get involved at all. He finally told her to knock off 5.00 dollars. Don't go to this place unless you watch what they do and call their hand when they don't provide services. I reached out to Andy to get some feedback to see if we could talk about what happened and he has yet to respond. I also asked him to forward me the owners names and he has not done that either. I went there today around 4 pm. I picked my nail polish out which took me forever. A young girl came in and the took her back to the pedicure area. I reasoned that as "oh she must have an appointment". I would of told the person waiting she has an appointment but nothing was said to me. I let that go. I had my clock running after his point so I know times. I waited another 23 minutes before a man said something to me. Another 4 mins passed and they took me back. I had 4 polishes. 1 bottom coat 1 top glitter coat. As I realized he was moving to someone else and having me soak and made a comment when I dropped a polish that I should just have one I decided it was time to leave. I'm not sitting there waiting on a mediocre place that was over priced for this area. The girl at the bbq place said she did the new owners marketing. I made sure to go back and tell her how horrible they were. B Why does it matter if I had 2 polishes and 2 glitters. I wanted a silver finger too!!! The time o wasted on a nasty nail salon that cost as much as dc does is t worth my wait. It was a spur of the moment decision to get my nails done with my friend. Normally I go to Nail 2000 in North Myrtle Beach, as I have never had a bad experience with them. Tony was the one who did my nails, and Tina did my friend's nails. First off, I had small remnants of pink polish on the sides of my nails that he didn't even bother to remove. Once it got to the point of buffing/sanding the acrylic down before you wash your hands and get the clear polish put on, I asked Tony to please even out the tops of almost every nail because they were all slanted to one side. He filed a couple complaining the whole time and how "straight they are." I eventually just caved in and said they looked good. After washing my nails and coming back to get the clear coat applied, he pulls out this bottle he can barely open because of how crusted over it was. He even was having a hard time dipping the brush to get any remaining polish from the bottle. Needless to say to anyone who has ever painted their own nails, the ONE coat he applied is going to cause major bubbles. Well after drying and inspecting both our nails, there were indeed major bubbles, slanted/crooked tips, and we successfully have "bad prom nails." The only reason I will ever go back is to complain or want my money back. Considering this is day two of having the nails on, and the edges are already lifting and there is zero shine on the top coating. NEVER. AGAIN. If you are looking for an awesome nail salon, trust me and drive the extra 10 miles to Nail 2000 in North Myrtle Beach in the Lowes Home Improvement plaza. Ask for Tom or Andy. I went in last week to get a mani/pedi. A young girl did my nails and was loud and not relaxing at all. She told me all of her problems, how poor she is, was rude, sarcastic and not relaxing at all. I would offer her suggestions to help her remedy some of her problems and she'd have an answer. I don't go get my nails done to listen to a 20-something year old "woes me" and lie.
