I always come back to this Nail salon bc this is the only salon that actually takes their time when pampering my feet and getting my pedicure done right, I require special attention when it comes to my toe nails and they are the only salon who tailor to my needs. I've been to other local nail salons in the Springs and they don't provide the same quality of care to my toenails as Nails 1st. If I could give negative points I so would I just came to get my nails done the nail technician did not listen to anything that I wanted to get done I walked out with a completely different set than what I came in to get extremely disappointed horrible customer service. Nails first is one of the best nail salons in Colorado Springs. Weekends are always super busy and if you go any Thursday Friday, Saturday or Sunday after 3, prepare to wait. Other than the normal wait time you will see at any rushed time... they are amazing. The female manager is friendly and very professional. She takes pride in her work and can do a full set of acrylic nails PERFECTLY...so timely too for such a high quality of nail work. Mine typically last 2-2.5 weeks if they are done at nails first. Most nail salons in this area will make you pay full set or convince you every time you need a full set. This is not the case at nails first. for acrylic full set and fills, I highly recommend Tan as well as any of the employees. they are super kind and for those of you who don't like the side foreign conversations... at nails first they are very respectful and speak English enough to make general-moderately in depth conversations without confusion, to their clients. Due to COVID my legs were dry ( although I applied lotion do them) my toe nails were a wreck from me trying to take of them of myself. They didn't listen. Over charged pre discussed price. Cut my toe nail when I asked for a little acrylic on one side to square off my broke toenail. Instead they cut my nail to be way shorter and then took a perused file to half way square it but it looks round. I asked 3 times and was done wrong. Then on my hand they were supposed to repair a tear in my nail bc all I wanted was a polish change and a little repair on my natural nail. Well, I'll give you one guess what they did..... cut my nail and put an acrylic on it!!! I now have 9 natural nails that are shaped like doodoo and an acrylic nail. I went ahead and pretipped when I paid and ended up having to tip two people bc that's how they are set up. So, I came in expecting to pay 20-25 dollars TOTAL for a polish change AND tipping 10 -15 bucks bc I'm like that......and somehow I got a 30 dollar pedicure and 17 dollars to file and paint my nails and the 15 dollar tip. Umm, no I pretipped 15 and was charged damn near 50 dollars. So, 67 bucks for what should have been 26-36 max! read more

This place is under new ownership! I followed my nail tech from her old shop and it was definitely worth it. She does excellent work and is very nice. I've been coming to her for a long time and won't go anywhere else. I recommend giving them a chance as they'll do good work. The place is being completely remodeled!! read more

Not worth it! Read the reviews and thought I'd try it, not what I expected. Not sure if the reviews are fake or if I got the wrong tech but I went in with an appointment for a gel manicure, not even a week and my nails are horrible. Keep in mind I don't work nor have children so there's no reason for the gel to be coming off already. The nail tech I got was very rude, she wasn't not helpful, she threw the sample color pallets in my face, she got upset because she couldn't find the color I asked for even though she literally picked that color for me when I asked for something totally different, then she was telling me to pick whatever from the only two colors she brought out. She'd also throw my hands when she was done painting them which was unnecessary. A customer next to me saw this happen and was also upset because she saw I did nothing wrong to the nail tech. I stayed calm because I thought maybe she was having a bad day but as soon as a different client came in she was acting totally different. I should say the male tech there seemed to be helpful and reasonable when a lady came in to ask to fix a design, he had no problem and wasn't rude, maybe I got the wrong teach? read more

Meh... It's not the nicest and not the worst. My mom and I had a little time to kill while my boyfriend was at an appointment in the area. We stopped in to get manicures. They were able to get us both in quickly. There were two people working, and made an effort to engage us in their conversation. They were a little over priced, $15 for a simple manicure. read more
