I'm not even sure where to start. This cute little shop is calming and pleasant friendly from the moment you walk up the ramp. I was visiting Colorado Springs from Indiana when my nails started to lift off. Tammy's was close to my Airbnb so we walked in. At first I thought there was no way I was going to get in because it is a small place so we left. Tammy came outside and asked if she could help us. Her smile immediately hugs your heart. She couldn't get me in right then but ask me to come back in a short hour, and she's fix my problem, so I did. She was wonderful. She's been in business for over 35 years and it shows. She even picked out my polish for me, and it was perfect. Please visit her. And please, people...STOP TIPPING $5 FOR YOUR NAILS. The people in this profession are artists, like your beautician, so if you're tipping less than 15%, shame on you. Thanks Tammy for saving my vacation!!

I will NEVER go to another nail salon in Colorado! Tammy is amazing! Not only is she the sweetest woman I have ever met in my life, but she loves her job and her company and takes pride in what she does. This is literally the BEST set of nails I have ever had- I walked in at 3:55 and I left at 4:23 (this was a gel fill!!!!!!!!) I was SHOCKED. The biggest reason I sometimes just don't get a fill is because I know it's gonna take an hour/hour and a half. Not Tammy! She was SO fast, so pleasant and my nails are literally PERFECT! I don't know how she did it! I don't know how she works so so fast yet still makes them flawless! Can't say enough about her!

VERY UNHAPPY!! Today was my first and most definitely my last time with Tammy. I went in for a full set of white tips. They were cut way shorter than I wanted and I wasn't asked until she had already cut 2 of them, 2 of the nails are glued on crooked and some are shaped rounded off while some are square..(again I wasn't asked about what shape I wanted) she did not even use a gel polish and of course again she didn't ask, she put some pinkish polish on and had me dry under the air blower which left them bubbled up as you can see in the picture..... and to top it all off she had the nerve to charge $60!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I only gave 1 star because it doesn't allow to give no stars!

Mrs. Tammy ATE. She was thought and articulate with what I wanted for my nails. She truly loves what she does and you can tell! Coming from New York I was very surprised to find that the price for dip powder was $60 when I'm used to $35. She used the drummel with what seemed like almost no experience I had to pull my hands back a few times because it got so hot it literally hurt. She only did 2 coats when I'm used to 3 and it didn't last even a week. I already have chipping only 4 days later. She didn't use the drummel afterwards which again I'm used to and I can tell because my nails feel uneven. The shape is not consistent some are square some are round. The scariest part is she doesn't sanitize any of her nail tools it grossed me out but it was too late for me to walk out so safe to say I won't be coming back. She used a gel top coat which I hate the reason I do dip powder is to avoid the lifting. read more

It's quite interesting about all the great reviews about Tammy Ko. I usually don't have negative reviews but I feel I should give my honest opinion. Is Tammy nice? Yes, she is. Anyone in this industry would be "nice." Coming from California where there are high standards, this place did not come to par. $45 for a pedicure. Did not even use professional nail salon products. Wasn't a relaxing experience. No hot towel. To top it off, why was base coat not used? Also, I do not have acrylics so please don't use a nail drill buffer on my toes. I prefer nail nippers. Last, please enlighten me how your tools are sanitize. I am also a licensed nail technician and your place does not meet my standards nor does your quality of work. Sorry. read more

I've been seeing Tammy for my nails many years, simply because she is the best. Always friendly and sweet, she does her work on my nails quickly and efficiently. She is cheerful and spending time with her is a pleasure. Over the years there have been many times I needed to change my schedule and she's been accommodating and flexible. I've seen that when new people call in for appointments, or walk-ins show up, Tammy does her utmost to work them in among the already scheduled appointments. Sometimes the walkins have to wait a little bit because there is an already scheduled appointment in progress but there are comfortable chairs and a couch & the environment is friendly and inviting. I would unreservedly recommend her services to anyone looking for a good nail tech. read more

Hands down the best experience I've had getting a pedicure and manicure. Tammy made me feel welcome immediately. I really enjoyed the calm, quiet atmosphere and I'm beyond happy with how both my manicure and pedicure turned out. As an added bonus, Tammy was an incredibly sweet lady and I enjoyed chatting with her. I have been searching for a go to nail salon and I have now found it. The only plus to Nails by Tammy is that she is a nice woman. The pedicures are over priced for the amount of service you get and the quality of the end product. My feet soaked for 30 minutes because she was running behind which I understand but she followed by doing little to no nail shaping, cuticle care or massage. She then put some oil on my nails so they could dry quickly but it somehow made the polish bumpy and look bad. This 10 minute simple pedicure is not worth $40. We are working towards getting this fixed but that shouldn't even be the case if it would of been don't right the first time. I will not return. read more

Tammy was amazing. I'm from out of town and here in the Springs for my fathers funeral. When I called Tammy to make a last minute appointment for my sister and I to have pedicures and manicures, she gladly gave up her day off and opened her shop to us. She was so kind, but putting that aside, she gave my sister and I a respite after such a long two weeks of watching my father suffer before losing his life to lymphoma. I wish Tammy lived near me In California, I would switch manicurists in a second. She did a beautiful job while giving us exceptional customer service. She made us feel very pampered. read more

Listen, this place was a mess. My cuticles and skin were bleeding on 3 fingers when I left this place. She charged me $100 for a fill and pedicure. The tools were NOT sterilized and she used the same tools on my sister so who knows who else. Her sister shared so much that it was uncomfortable, including using my body as an example when talking about "how fat she was." The "massage" part of the pedicure was 1-3 minutes at best. I got a comment about how bad my feet are and that I must do a lot of walking. Sorry, I didn't go get a pedicure every month because of Covid and yes, I walk a lot! Really sad to have spent that much on something I feel like I have to go get fixed when I go home. read more

Exceptional service! My friend and I are visiting from NM. We stopped at 3 other places that said walk ins were welcomed but couldn't be serviced. I called Tammy and she said "come on in!" If I could give Tammy 10 stars I would. She did a beautiful job on my full acrylic set and they look so natural like I haven't ever seen before. She is so personable and worth the wait when she has clients. As you walk in there is a welcoming atmosphere with little couches and a nice sitting area. Not only that, she will talk with you about what would look good for your nails and she accomplishes it with flying colors. Everything that she is doing is awesome! So glad I found a new nail lady! read more

I don't usually write reviews on here but I just wanted to let customers aware that this establishment DOES NOT use proper sanitization when it comes to their tools. Friendly people but for a $40 15 minute pedi I noticed that none of the tools used were properly sanitized and the amount of dirt I saw on the foot scrubber was unacceptable. For a service provider that has been in the business for 30 years (she had said) this is just mind blowing. Again unsanitary and a 15min pedi was not worth $40. read more

Tammy is awesome! She gave me the best set of acrylic nails I've ever had! I bite my nails and they are horribly short which makes it difficult for a nail tech to put on. They have stayed 2 full weeks which is a record for me and they still look great! Plus she got in in on the same day during my lunch hour! read more

Great if you need to get in and out. However, expect to have a very rushed, painful and expensive experience. I paid $30 for a not so great re-base which is normally $16 at other beauty salons. read more

If you are wanting a fancy, from-from spa, this is not the place for you. If you are wanting a wonderful pedicure done by an amazing woman who takes pride in your work, this is the place. From the moment I walked in, it felt like being at an aunties house, being pampered and hanging out in the girls club. This was one of the best pedicures I've had. Tammy fit my friend and I in last minute and took wonderful care of us. The tea tree oil she used in the foot soak was invigorating and lovely. I didn't know what color to pick for my nails. Tammy surprised me with an incredible mermaid color, perfect for the beach. read more

i came here with a friend for the first time, i don't usually go to nail salons because they never…read moreknow what they are doing and don't do exactly what people ask for and charge overly too much. the picture is my INSPO that i asked for, the lady that was doing my nails said they have none of those charms... the video is what i ended up leaving with... y'all are a nail salon how do you not have anything?? also when they sat me down she just automatically started doing gel x, which i didnt ask for and she could've asked me if i wanted gel x or acrylic first before just putting stuff on my nails. i asked for STILETTO. this is not what stiletto is like come on. i like it skinny and very pointy which is what a stiletto nail shape IS. she tried shaping it but i felt like she was lazy with it!!! i was irritated at this point and just wanted to go home but i needed my nails done for an event and my personal nail tech wasn't available. the french tips on the nails are all different sizes as in the shape on the french and its sloppy and the lines are all wiggly to me. and some of the nails shapes doesn't match the other hand. she was a sweet older lady but i just don't think she needs to continue to work there... sorry. these are not real NAIL technicians they just do whatever THEY WANT when you tell them and then get upset when you try to tell them otherwise. i had also came back later that day BECAUSE THE THUMB BROKE NOT EVEN AN HOUR LATER SAME DAY?? i told them can i try to come back and reshape them and get them done again the guy who works at the near front receptionist desk told me YES COME AT 9 AM NEXT DAY, I SAID OKAY! and i made the appointment for next day, showed up. and they are fully booked? and the receptionist told me come back at 11? um no. i had an appointment at 9am and i have somewhere to be. if they know people have appointments they should be ready to take those people in when they show up FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT why are you making them wait or even make the appointment if yall aren't going to tend to them. unprofessional!!! then at that point i'm upset i told them you know what please take these off because i'm not keeping something i do not LIKE on for however many weeks. and also asked for refund. they made me wait another hour just to take 15 minutes for removal... seriously? then when i was done i said can i have my refund? and the guy who told me come back next day was looking and sounding confused? mind you i paid almost 100 for these... did he think he could keep my money while i left WITH NO NAILS? HELLO!??? i said i need my refund i have nothing on my nails and they were terrible. he looked at me and says "you said there were fine that you were okay when you left" i think he forgot that i had came back that same day and showed him exactly what i asked for and he told me come back? and i told him no i came that morning at 9 when he told me and yall didn't take me?? so no i wanted my refund since i got them removed and he seemed to be irritated with my and upset because im asking for MY MONEY back after they did a shit job? yeah okay. anyways don't come here nails salons nowadays don't give a crap about people's inspirations or what they ask for. barely have the supplies too. you get what you get and they want you to accept it and pay over 100's of dollars for bare minimum. i go to a personal nail tech who does 10000% BETTER and charges me less than 75 for what i asked for at the nail salons. they are a joke. don't. come. here. !!!!
