Horrible Customer Service skills. I showed up to get my nails filled at 8:30p thinking this would be good to get them done before this place closes at 9p. I had reviewed their online hours before making the half hour trip. It said they are open to 9pm. Apparently 9pm doesn't mean 9pm. After standing in the entrance for about 3-5 minutes without being addressed, I should told they are not taking anyone else today. Claiming they wouldn't have enough time. I told them then they need to update their online open time, as they told me they take their last appointment/walk-in at 7:45p. 7:45p people, when they close at 9p. Well, news for you Nail Experts, that isn't 9p. You may be nail Experts, but you're certainly not time experts. Trust me, I will never be back and I will tell all my friends, family, and colleagues to never give you their business. I don't want anything from you, all I want to save someone else time spent trying to get in with you and actually make your hours known. read more

This place is awful. Don't waste your money. They overcharge for nothing. The tools used for mani pedis are used and do not look clean. I got a pedicure that was so aggressive that my heels are sore and bleeding. The nail technician used his nail to constantly remove polish from my cuticles and it hurt. Also removed too much of the cuticle from my hands and toes and both hurt so bad. If you want to be pampered, this isn't the place. I honestly regret going. My regular nail salon was fully booked and this place reminded me why. read more

I have been getting my nails done for over 2 years now. I used to go to another salon every month, but they started getting too busy and even when I had an appointment I would have to wait too long. I have been to Nail Experts the last three times of getting my nails done. I went for a pink/white solar balance each time. I had three different people on each of my visits. The one I am reviewing today is for my third visit there, which occurred this past Saturday. It was the 2nd worst pink/white solar balance I ever had in the last 2 years! Not only did the tech take SO long to do my nails, but they are terrible. I question whether she even knows the technique. I will say that they seem to have 10 nail techs there at all times, and the first two I had do my nails there did just fine. I am not sure if I will ever go back to this salon, if I do, I will avoid the tech who did my nails this last visit. I am not sure of her name, but would recognize her. read more

Rushed job. Polish is uneven on nails. Pedicure tools (clippers & files) were reused. Not Clean. Poor customer service. Won't be back.

WORST ever experience!!! The person who attended me wore gloves when I asked him to. He barely soaked my hands, did not remove cuticles properly. No massage at all! And Boom....other staff beside my table reused his gloves on his next customer!! This place is not at all hygienic! I noticed that the tables were not clean and they were reusing the towels too!! Thankfully I carry my own hand towel in my bag and I used that one. ZERO stars from my side! read more

I went to Nail Experts around 12:30pm on Sunday. The shop was pretty busy; however, customers seemed to be moving along. I was in a chair by 1pm. I received a pedicure from Alex. The pedicure was fine. My only criticisms are she worked a little too fast and she didn't completely polish one of my nails. I received an acrylic set from Tony and I was highly disappointed. I asked for a french tip ombre with a purple undertone. The purple shows well; however, the ombre was poorly done. The purple does not fade into the white. Aside from the bad paint job, the finish was sloppy. There is paint all around my cuticles and dried acrylic under my nails. I spent $92 ($35 for the pedi and $57 for acrylic set). I spent entirely too much for my set. I was so upset by time I was finished I just wanted to pay and leave. I will not be returning to this shop. read more

They rush through what they call a "manicure" but not really.I have paint on my skin, hair painted on my nails and each nail is shaped differently. And of course the guy didn't care. He just kept saying it was fine. And let me not leave out the place is expensive for no reason. Try not to waste your time going here.The only reason why they're getting one star is because they have a large selection of colors to choose from. read more

Came for pedis on mother's day with my mom. Place was clean and staff was nice. We both got service right away with no wait. Large polish selection and semi comfy chairs. Service was good but I think sonce my tech started like 3mins after my moms tech he was a little rushed to keep up with the other guy so we both were done at the same time. But it was all good. Nails came out beautiful and feet/legs feel great. I will definitely be back :) read more

Worst pedicure experience ever. Went with a group for my nieces bday. We were treated like a herd of cattle rather than humans. My personal tech was the worst. Very rude. I was never asked what kind of service I wanted or if my French tips were ok. When I asked how to turn the massage on I was told that she doesn't have time to show me. When paying I felt I should tell her why I'm not tipping. And was told that she really doesn't care. Unfortunately I don't know her name but would recognize her. Not that I plan on going back. If you do go here I hope your experience is a whole lot better than mine. read more

Nail Experts has been my go to place recently. My technician Alex is the best! I really feel that she takes the time with my nails and she does a wonderful job. My manicurist last my pedicures lasts she's very personable and professional. So give them a try and when you go ask for Alex you won't be disappointed. read more

Do not come to this nail salon. My friend and I were both getting a gel manicure. We were beside each other so naturally we were conversing. The man who was doing my nails decided to HIT ME with a nail buff. That's right-HIT ME- to get my attention so that he could tell me to wash my hands. He never once said "ma'am" or "miss" or anything of the nature. On top of that, he tried so hard to offer me extra services so that he could get more money out of me even after I told him the service I wanted and my budget. He is a very rude man. I had the WORST tech. She rushed the entire pedicure.. didn't separate toes or clean up edges. It would have looked better if I did it myself! She didn't speak to me the entire time except to make a comment about my fingernails and make a nasty faces at me. The other tech next to me did a way better job on the other lady. She got the same thing and it lasted 20 minutes longer than mine because it was done right. Do not give this place your business as long as they employ techs that do horrible jobs like this and have a nasty attitude.Need to have consistency or no one will return. Terrible experience. My normal nail shop was closed and I needed to find a place before my flight to the UK today, so I tried this place. First of all, just because I have short hair and am wearing a T-shirt and shorts, don't assume that I'm a man from behind and then question why I want color on my feet. If I was a man and wanted color, what of it!!! Secondly, quit asking me if I'm not working today. Plus, it's July 4. You didn't ask anyone else that - just me. I'm a researcher by training and a University Professor so I'm always collecting data and paying attention. Third, you never asked me what type of pedicure I wanted, you gave me what you decided that I could have, which was the basic. I would normally get the deluxe but you looked at my black face and attire and decided what you wanted to do. If I could leave no stars I would. Customer service was horrible. I do not live in Ohio and I came into town to visit and to spend time with my mother. We went to get our nails done and my mom preferred a woman to do it for her. They were 100% fine when I requested this, but when it was her turn 3 different employees began to mock her request and also went as far to begin asking me if I wanted a woman in a laughing matter. Nail Experts is the best place in Columbus to get Dip / SNS / NexGen Nails! I tried another salon on Kenny Rd and my nail tech made them so think they looked like those terrifying bubble nails. At Nail Experts, my nails look natural and are about the same thickness as if I had gel polish on. I have been here twice and will continue coming back because I love how my nails look! read more

Honeslty went in looking for a simple balance on gel nails. It has been the worst experience I have ever had. Nails breaking, splitting, chipping, thin, and so much more within 1 week. The only reason I went to this salon in the first place was because they are one of the few that are open later, as they are located within Tuttle Mall. Naturally I was a bit skeptical as I had never been there before. I thought all was going well until I realized that the older lady doing my nails maybe wasn't as skilled or experienced as she had lead me to believe. I wanted a gel manicure with a red polish and a gold half moon design for the upcoming holidays. I showed her the picture and she assured me that she could do "Whatever you want, no problem." She nicked me 3 different times when using the dremel and was careless while using it. She didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was jumping because she was hurting me. When it came time for the polish I was reassured as it seemed that my nails would turn out alright as the red went on and looked great. Unfortunately however, her real lack of skill and care was then exposed when it came time to add the gold half moons at my cuticles. She selected a clear polish with small gold sparkles to achieve this look. After two coats of the gold sparkles and several attempts to clean up the lines with acetone she insisted that I was done. It seemed like she wasn't able to achieve the design I requested so she just gave up, despite the fact that I was not satisfied. My nails look nothing like the picture I showed her, which is just about the simplest design you can do. If she knew she wasn't capable of creating a basic design such as the one I selected she should have been fourth coming about it. I would have settled for plain red. I would rather have slightly less festive nails that look neat and tidy than the sloppy, glittery, unprofessional messes I have now. I will be making sure that I leave work a littler earlier today so that I can make it to another salon to have them fixed. I will not be returning. read more

Worst nail salon in Columbus. I stopped here because I needed to pick something up in the mall and I just wanted a gel Polish. I asked if they shape/file nails before doing polish and was told no, that's only done during a manicure. After I stated they were the only nail salon I've been to that doesn't shape/file your nails they begrudgingly did it for me. I got my nails done on a Friday and they are already chipping the following Tuesday. I will not go back here. read more

First of all, don't ever go here. They really do not care about what you want, the person I got was Katie and she was sloppy and blamed me for the mistakes she was constantly making. The workers also have staring problems and talk about you in front of your face. Katie also kept pressuring me to get oval nails to make her job easier, although I insisted many times that I wanted square nails. i would give this place a solid meh. at the end my polish was blotched terribly on one finger and my cuticles and hands were so dry it hurts. hand massage was hardly a massage she didnt even touch my fingers, and their gel UV machine was broken. read more

My daughters and I always go here to get our nails done. They do a great job and we like all the techs that help us. Know us by name and that makes a difference. I will never go to this salon again. I had a pedicure, and the guy who did it was rude, never once smiling. He was very rough while doing my pedicure, and cut my nails so short, causing my feet to bleed. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing, and the one I received was painful.
