Great place with great prices!! I called yesterday morning to get the earliest appointment and the staff was so nice and very accommodating! This was my second time at this nail salon and I left very pleased. I did a gel pedicure for $42 and a French gel manicure for $40. I was this for an hour and a half. The staff is chatty and pleasant, they love talking about life which I think is great! With the rise in prices everywhere, it is really nice to have a go to place. I have been a customer at Nail Crest for 20 plus years. During that time i found Chris, the owner, to be one of the nicest people i know and very well versed in her craft. Her husband, who once in a while helps out, is a gentleman, fixing whatever needs to be done in the salon. Gina and Darlene do my mani and pedi. They are awesome. Although i enjoy the vibe chatting with the girls, it's the cleanliness that brings be back all the time. Iif they did not meet my needs, I would have been gone a long time ago. I come here for a few reasons. I like that it's in a convenient location, the owner is sweet and polite, the salon is quiet and peaceful, appointments are always available and, most importantly, it's clean. I only get pedicures and since I am not the pickiest of people when it comes to my nails, I am not bothered by the not-the-greatest pedicures I get here. If there is nail polish is on my skin, I just rub it off in the shower, if the nail is filed at an angle, I fix it myself at home. Basically, I just come here for maintenance on my feet and a relaxing half hour. Having said that, what I have a difficult time accepting is the rude attitude of the usual pedicurist. Literally, any request triggers her and she snaps. You ask her to add the blue tablets in the water, she gets angry and yells "I know!" You ask her to not cut the nails to short and she gets annoyed. You ask her to make the water warmer, she acts like she doesn't understand and gets angry. Normally, I let it slide thinking tolerating her is the price I pay for convenience but I have had enough of her. Given her mediocre quality of work AND bad attitude, I am wondering why I keep going back. I wish the owner would hire another person to do pedicures so at least there is another option on weekdays which is when I go. read more

Since moving to the area, Nail Crest has quickly become my go-to nail spot! I'm definitely picky when it comes to my nails/nail salons so I was really surprised to see such low Yelp ratings for Nail Crest when it came so highly recommended by a friend of mine. She has frequented Nail Crest for 10+ years (maybe even 15?) and has always loved their service. I've been seeing a technician named Kris, but all of the girls are equally sweet and seem to do a fabulous job (other names: say-hee, misu) They're very friendly and welcoming. I love that they go by appointments (although walk ins are welcome) and they really get to know every person that comes in. I also really appreciate that they don't hesitate to stay open late (for the working crowd) and are meticulous with each and every nail. As another reviewer mentions below, yes it's true that they do not do acrylic nails, but its because they truly care for the health of their clients nails (acrylic can be very damaging, the fumes alone are toxic etc). I get the permanent gel which is like a normal gel manicure that lasts about 3-4 weeks instead of 1-2. The cost is on the higher side ($45) but I definitely think you get what you pay for here. My nails never chip and always look great. If you pay in cash, they give you a card and once you hit $300 you receive $15 back - nice little incentive. I'm not sure why other reviewers did not have the same experience as me, but I have been 100% happy with Nail Crest and strongly recommend it. What a horrible place! Not only was the work sloppy, I waited FOREVER for it! On a Saturday afternoon they only had two nail techs working. That's it! I waited because I was desperate, I walked there from the Radisson where I was staying with no car. I regret my decision to sit and wait. The two nail techs that were there were SO rude! Got a regular manicure and pedicure for $43, wow. The pedicurist was also very rough to the point I asked her to just cut and paint my nails, I'm having a hard time reaching them at 5 months pregnant. Night time rolls around and one of my toes feels very sore, great maybe an infection.... So not only is this place the most expensive out of the 3 I've visited in the area, the work they did was nothing amazing and I think I got an infection. I asked for navy blue polish with silver tips to match a dress I was wearing to a wedding that evening. My nails came out better than I had imagined! I came here with 2 friends to get simple pedicures and we were all disappointed. The prices are extremely high: $28 for a regular pedicure. The leg massage was very short and not what I would call a massage... More like someone just rubbing lotion on our legs. They actually told us to pay while we were drying which I thought was odd. I have to say I am very disappointed with the quality of service I received.. I recently moved to the area and have been searching for a new nail salon. I booked this salon because of the location and ease of access, not realizing the cost for a gel fill was $20 more than I usually pay. That would be fine if they lasted long. The lady was very nice and did a great job shaping my nails, but 2 weeks later my nails look disgusting and dirty. They are not dirty at all but whatever type of gel they use gets dingy wayyyy faster than I have ever seen before (I've been getting my nails done for 10 years now at various salons). DON'T DO IT! I am only giving 1 star because there is no negative. I ended up paying $53 for a regular mani and a pedi with "callus removal". She didn't touch my cuticles at all, i had to cut them myself in front of her, after i asked her to do it and be ignored. As for the feet- they put this solution on the rough spots, wrap it and then "file" the spots. The only thing is, she was not using pressure at all. I asked her to do it again, she just picked up the cuticle cutters and fiddled with the nails... After everything was done, i told the owner i was unhappy with service- all i heard was "looks good to me!!" I had to go back to my regular place to have them fix nail crest's mess. $53?? She barely massaged my legs, hurt me when she was using the cuticle tool and didn't apologize when I flinched, didn't see them sanitize their tools, no hot towel, no water offered, and told me to turn the chair off because she couldn't keep her hands straight.
