I was just there with my friend at Nail Art and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. I was helped by the technician at the station closest to the door (I didn't catch her name), and I found her service to be quite disappointing. Throughout the appointment, she seemed inattentive and disengaged. She stepped away from the station multiple times--at least four--without any explanation, and even answered her personal cell phone in the middle of working on my nails. This lack of focus not only prolonged the appointment but also impacted the quality of the work. Unfortunately, the final result reflected the lack of care during the service. The nail job was poorly done, and it was clear that attention to detail was missing. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but consistent professionalism and basic customer care should always be a priority. I hope the salon can address these service concerns so future clients have a better experience. And if it's the owner I'm referring to, yikes. I went in about a month ago because I was in town doing some shopping and needed a mani/pedi. Lana did my first one and I was pleased because it actually lasted more than 2 weeks. I was impressed with the service, they seemed busy, but I did not have to wait more than 5 minutes. Yesterday my daughter and I went for a mani/pedi. I had read the reviews about the owner being very rude and nasty, but I went back anyway because they had done such a great job at first. Well yesterday the owner was there and boy was she rude! My daughter and I walked in and she said go pick your color and go sit, so we picked our color, went back to the pedicure station and waited 20 minutes before we even got helped. The 2 guys that did our service were both very nice and did a great job. but I witnessed the owner screaming at her employees, she was rude to everyone who walked in, got smart with multiple customers and basically kicked a client out after she finished her fill in. I was in shock because everyone else there seems so nice, but I could see the fear in their eyes over this lead tech. I will have to consider going back, I really like the techs, but experiencing the owners behavior really pushed me away! read more

I'm not sure what has happened over the last 2 years. I always make an appointment but end up waiting 30 minutes to an hour AFTER my appointment time because my tech is running behind. I religiously make an appointment every 4 weeks and this happens each time. My dip powder isn't staying as well as it used to and there is no longer hand massages with mani's . Me and my sister came here for the very first time to get our nails done. My sister needed a fill-in and color change, I went for a manicure because the nail salons in Charlottesville closes early on Sundays. The lady who did my nails did a amazing job with the cat eyes gel polish. The only complaint I have for my nail service, was that she digged into my nails way too hard and hang nails were created on certain fingers from taking too much of my cuticles. My sister on the other hand didn't get the full run down on prices. She asked her nail tech if she could speak to a manager before starting the service due to the pricing. The lady went on and did her nail service, her nails came out beautiful but.... She was charged way to much for getting a fill-in and color change. Once we left the nail salon after paying for our services, my sister was explaining to me how she has never paid an outrageous price like that before so I told her to call them and ask how the service came up to $60.00. I'm not really sure on who all she spoke with but each individual that she did speak with was absolutely rude towards her. My sister never had a attitude with them at all when she called, all she wanted was a answer which led her to ask her for half of her money back but the lady wanted to argue. We went back to the nail salon to get her refund, I ended up going to get the refund for her so there wouldn't be any conflict. The lady kept telling me that my sister needed to go back to whatever nail salon she came from. I had to grab my sister so she could sign on the receipt and the lady ended up telling her that she needed to go back to the nail salon she came from and then another lady tried to take a picture of her. I highly wouldn't recommend this nail salon to anyone what so ever. 1. They are very disrespectful. 2 They don't have a pricing sign for services. 3. Honestly there are certain small details that I notice that could change to make this place better and that's why my review is lacking the last star...but all around I feel they deserve better reviews than the ones that are on here already. Most definitely one of the cleanest nail salons in Waynesboro, I've been here a handful of times after bouncing around from Staunton fishersville & waynesboro trying to find a nail place I felt comfortable with. If you're in a hurry this probably isn't the place you want to come unless you have an appointment even then all the nail techs seem to really care about the details of things and take their time rather than pushing customers through as fast as they can which in my opinion is awesome because I feel I'm getting my money's worth. I just moved to Virginia and I heard this nail salon was the best! I tried it and I loved it, but I live in Crozet so it's kind of out of the way. They do get busy so you have to get there early and it's worth it. The reason why I am giving them one star is because I walked in and there was a technician available and he was going to do my acrylic fill and eyebrows but another lady walked in shortly after me and she requested him so he forgot about me and took her. Maybe I'm over reacting but I travel over the mountain in the snow to get to them and husband drives me to get there because I've never driven in snow. I'm terrified! I feel like I go out of my way to get there and the service in return wasn't very good. read more

This place is a joke. I have been three times and had to return twice for them to fix their shoddy work. The last visit my nails, which were dipped and should have had a gel top coat began to peel within a week. When I returned to have them fix it, the owner (I assume because she was in the first chair,) was rude. She only sanded off the top coat from a few of the nails, when I pointed out that there were others, and I felt the rest would peel as well, she was rude to me in front of several customers. They have good talent here but the owner is pretty rude. I even witnessed her and another tech laughing and talking about a paying customer. The customer was aware and became very upset. The owner doesn't say hello or greet you when you walk-in. I also witnessed the OWNER arguing with a male tech in front of everyone. I felt that was very unprofessional and it clearly made everyone uncomfortable. The atmosphere doesn't feel friendly and I would rather spend my money elsewhere. I whent there and they talked and laughed at people the entire time . They had their picks of who they would services. I also notice that some people would come in and and sit down . The owner would then tell the person they were closed but others would come in and receive services. When one customer asked why this happened .
