I've been here several times & always liked it & thought they did a great job. Unfortunately, they have hired some new employees who truly shouldn't be working on anyone. One cut my sister's hand & she bled for the entire time. He painted over the blood on her fingers. They had to restart on my toes twice because they kept messing up. It took 2 hours to be finished, despite the fact that they did our nails & toes at the same time. They didn't offer any sort of discount. This was a horrible unsanitary place. I will never return. I had a basic manicure for $20. The technician used tools which were visibly unclean (skin on them) she soaked my fingers in cold water, no cuticle cream and then tried to trim them. I bled TWICE! She sprayed something on the blood. There was no lotion applied there was no hand massage and the trimming she did attempt was hazardous. I would NEVER recommend this place. I moved here a few years ago and have been here often. However, I requested to have the $45 dollar pedicure with one color gel polish! I also requested to have my eyebrows and lip waxed. Somehow my total was $118 dollars. I understand needing to charge for gel color but charging $55 extra dollars from the services I requested is a bit much. I called Saturday morning for 2 pedi's. They got us in right away. They were so kind to my elderly mother, giving her a pillow for the chair and water. My pedicure was wonderful. I called and made an appointment it when I arrived they didn't remember my appointment. They took me anyhow. I wanted gel nails but the lady talked me into dip as she said they didn't chip. 2 days later I had a big chip. I went back and they were too busy to fix my mail and said to come back at a time that I couldn't make it or tomorrow when I'm out of town. Clean place and people were nice. I had no appointment but was able to sit in pedi chair and and enjoy the massage for about 30 minutes. The young man took his time to do a nice job with cuticles, etc and did a fine job painting. Also, this place did not reek of nail chemicals like other salons in Waynesboro. The first time I went to Q Nails, I asked the lady to put some sort of design on my ring finger, she didn't do it. I brought it up and she ignored me. I didn't really care too much until I left and realized my nails were already smudged as I walked out the door. I didn't wanna go back in. It could've easily been my fault and I didn't realize. So I didn't blame them. That's why I decided to give them another shot. No. Just don't. I didn't realize until the next day that there was gel or something stuck under my right pinky nail. Nail tech did gel manicure on Saturday. She painted on dozens of coats of regular polish before realizing and having to redo. By Monday, two nails had peeled so I go to get it fixed. The new nail tech was very rude about me not being able to find my color initially ( I thought I found it after looking at the nail samples and realized once I saw the Polish bottle, it could not be a match). She painted over top of the coats in a rush without redoing two nails completely. By Tuesday, the nails peeled again. Dirty salon, bad attitudes, Rip off...not cool. I'm not a complainer, but if I'm given attitude on top of low quality service then that's just embarrassing for the company. read more

I must have been the first person to whom this middle-age woman ever gave a pedicure. She did not even know how to make the water hotter. She was physically bending my leg to get it in the water. No idea how to give cues. Left my toenails to long. Left old polish on big toe. My heels are as rough as when I went in. did not even use the foam Toe Separator so at the end had to scrape nail polish off between toes. She did not even have a nice touch. It would be one thing if she were new .... And the customer got a discount for having to put up with her incompetence, but the point is, she receives NO TRAINING... she is just foisted on me who was hoping for a nice and effective pedicure. UGH. Afterwards, if I had time, I would have gone somewhere else to get a proper pedicure. read more

This place as soon as went in the door I probably should've turned around now three days later and my nails on hand are completely chipped. I brought my son to watch my daughter while I got a polish change and they got up when my kids set down, one is 11 and the other a baby that can't crawl or anything much less tear up, and grabbed all the color samples off the table then put them behind the counter. Then as I'm getting my original polish taken off with a dremmel I get cuticles tore up so bad they're bleeding on two fingers. Then the guy that is doing my nails later takes my thumbs and bends them in such a weird way that I thought he was going to break them. After that two lady's start talking to me about how well behaved my kids are so my minds kinda occupied with that that I didn't pay attention to how many coats of polish he put on my fingers or really what he did but it's so thin that didn't didn't last three days. I was very upset how the technician treated me. I had made an appointment for 6pm and the women sat me down, looked like she was about to do my feet and then proceeded to work on another girls feet. I don't know if it was because I am a bigger girl but, I felt highly discriminated against to put it frank. I was very disappointed in the service and the pedicure itself. I have been going to Q-Nails for about 3 years now with my mom. She gets with Tony & I get with Mary, they do a good job on everything. We usually get acrylic/gel. Their nail art is good too. Henry is a beast at shaping (my nails are almond shap), he's very meticulous. Everyone there is so nice, the establishment is clean. Not the experience I was hoping for in customer service. This place could truly use a lesson in personal relations with customers....It wasn't the pedicure that was lacking. It was the LACK OF MANNERS and common courtesy at the end that was astonishing. First of all, I walked into the shop as an out-of-towner, observing the place, and I was greeted politely so I felt more comfortable. However, I felt that I was rushed and the techs were a little bit impatient with me on picking out a nail color, and they were NOT busy at all. My tech didn't speak much English, which was fine, but he was polite and did a sufficient job, I don't have a problem with the work. I have a problem with the fact that while I was the ONLY pedicure client in a row of chairs in their shop, he couldn't let me sit at the pedi bowl and allow my polish to dry?!?! He tried to shove my flip flops back on my toes just minutes after the polish was applied, which I refused. I politely told him I would like to wait until the polish completely dried! But it gets even worse. Here is the ridiculous part, he actually came over the the chair and started spraying chemicals and trying to clean the bowl while I was STILL SITTING IN THE CHAIR, getting water and cleaner on me. HOW RUDE!!! There was absolutely NO Reason whatsoever for this kind of rushing the client. NO ONE WAS WAITING FOR A CHAIR whatsoever. So then I ask to move to the table to sit under the lights that dry the polish. The entire time I was sitting in that shop after the pedicure was done, I felt like I was being rushed away for no apparent reason. A pedicure is supposed to be a luxury and not a thing that causes stress. I feel it was very inconsiderate & unprofessional! Oh, and of course, this was after I had paid and TIPPED him well. The owners of this shop should teach their technicians that is inappropriate to rush the client and force them to be exposed to chemicals. read more

I am totally baffled by the way this nail shop has repeatedly treated me and my family. the first time we visited there it was before Easter, we made an appointment to get our pedicures. they did a rush job and the employees complained about how they wanted to go home but we are customers too. my second run in with them occurred about a week ago, It was raining and I was on the bus I really wanted to get my eyebrows done out of nowhere it started pouring down raining! I was soaked I walked into the nails shop and immediately the owner looks up at me and says,"I dont think i can do for you, you are going to get the floor wet and the customers might slip and fall." WHAAAT?! i am a paying customer too! they did not even offer me a towel! I cant control the weather I wasnt wet when I left the house. I couldnt believe them! I got the pedicure with a massage and leg mask, #2, and it was AMAZING. My legs and feet were smooth for months and felt so relaxed for days later. My pedicure itself lasted over 2 months without a chip. It was the best pedicure I have ever had and the kindest staff. Everytime my mom comes to visit she always asks to go back.
