Out of the 3 or 4 other salons by comparison, I'd take Anna over the others any time, and the price is competitive (maybe less, even), and I know who the money is going to. Hard to beat that. He also assured me that if I have any problems with my nails (chipping, etc.) that I should come back and they will take care of it for free. Prices are fair and you get $5 off if you pay in cash (they have an ATM). You can walk in, but I'd recommend making an appointment just so you don't have to wait as long if they're busy. I like to support a new local business, and they really are doing a great job! I'm sure I will be back.

So the day before my wedding, my spouse and I went to get pedicures and manicures based on a recommendation from a friend who had been there before. The massage portion was nice. I found the pedicure and manicure to be painful, as the cuticle pushing and cutting was fast and abrasive, but I am a sensitive person and haven't had a mani-pedi since high school, so I figured I'd just power through for the end results. We got nail polish on our toes and just wanted simple, natural nail manicures. I was expecting a file, buff, and shine on my fingernails. We didn't inspect anything and tipped and left, and much to our dismay, our fingernails were uneven and unfinished, no filing, buffing, or shining of any kind, with several painful nicks around our nail beds and cuticles. The quick filing block used on our nails left scratches which we tried to buff out at home. We didn't get any photos because we were so busy with wedding preparations that we just rushed to try to correct it ourselves before moving on with our day. Three days later, my nicks are still painful, washing my hair re-opens the wounds. It turns out that our friend who recommended Love Nails had only ever gotten a pedicure there, and they mostly just enjoyed the massage. Keep in mind that our photos are AFTER we did our best to make our torn-up fingers look decent enough for our big day. We didn't even look closely at our toes until today, three days later. We put on socks before our toe polish had fully cured, so some of the texture is due to that, but I think the photos show that the pedicures were also very poorly done. I really wanted to like the experience, as the staff who provided the service were very nice, welcoming, and focused on what they were doing.

Masks are required to enter and receive service. Nikki is sanitizing well between each guest and always does your arch according your facial structure. There usually isn't more than 3 people in the store at a time and this includes the service provider! It takes less than 10 minutes and lasts 2-3 weeks depending on your hair growth. I strongly recommend threading to ladies and men as a non chemical alternative to waxing!
