I got a pedicure on Wednesday 6/19.. I used this salon 4 years ago and the customer service was very poor. The technician did not greet me but asked that I sign in. My pedicure looks horrible with lumps in my toe nails. She never gave me the price and I paid over $36 dollars for a pedicure. She did not massage my legs or do any of the other services that is included in a salon pedicure. I will not return or recommend this nail shop to any of my friends. I was the first one there today and I wanna say it was the manager that did my nails because she opened the shop. she lacks hospitality skills. she was rough and cut me on five of my fingers. she ignored the fact that one of my nails were lifting, didn't cut the lifted away until I asked her to. she left excess acrylic on my hands and didn't massage the oil in my hands. all I got was a basic gel fil and it was 65 dollars! never have I ever been charged that much for a basic gel fill. I'd give it 0 stars just because of how disrespected I was yesterday !!!! I went in to see if they could fix a broken nail. Was not greeted or asked what do I need, but I still signed it on the list in the front. Waited about 20 minutes and all of the workers were still busy. Finally I get up and ask one of the employees how much to fix the nail and she gives me a price, I say "ok" sit down and wait a little bit longer. I recommend you come on Sunday, it's less crowded and more peaceful. There are a lot of bad reviews so I was really scared for my sister's nails. My sister wanted an ombré color but they don't do that only solid colors and designs. The experience was good after all. The ladies who do the nails are very friendly and don't make you feel uncomfortable. They don't ask you a whole bunch of questions and take about an hour to an hour and a half For acrylics. They are also very professional and if during the process the nails get a little messed up, they quickly fix it. The nails came out looking great! read more

I just came from getting my nails and feet done, and am very happy with the outcome. I requested a pedicure and a fill with gel polish, and Vivian did an amazing job! I live down the street and this place is very convenient for me, but when I walked in there was no one in the shop. Just me! On the plus side I didn't have to wait to get started and I didn't feel rushed. After my amazing pedicure I noticed the place started to fill up quite quickly! So I guess I just came at a good time. Vivian finished my nails, which I love! And by the time I was leaving the place was packed!! I took away one star only because I wish they were more organized with matching the gel polish with regular polish for feet, but even then that is a pretty petty complaint because I can't even tell I'm wearing two different colors. Worst service ever second time I've been here and they rub me the wrong way. The older lady has done my nails before and I could tell then she needed not to. She made my nails long and thin. I had a pedicure that lacked the the basics of a pedi experience. She dug in my toe nail - they are cut short no need to dig; cut my skin with the clipper; no massage; scrubbed my feet with a salt scrub and then rinse and polish...I asked for lotion or oil for my legs and feet and she did a squirt of oil and quick rub. I should have left after that, but I stayed for my eyebrows and they look like the persons in the review that gave them a one star as well. They seated me immediately, but then had me waiting for 10 minutes. Waiting in the waiting chair isn't as bad as when you're waiting at the table. You're expected to wait there so it's not as bad, but I was seated, pick out the color I wanted, she clipped, filed, then had me soak my nails, I should have left then, after the 10 minutes had past, I came close. To shorten this, she didn't do a good job, I'm looking at my cuticles and it doesn't look like I had a manicure, she didn't even put oil on them. Horrible customer service! This is the first time I've gone anywhere but my usual nail tech in Hanover. All I needed was a fill-in. By the time she was done filing my nails they were all different shapes. Boxed, rounded, coffin, and squoval. When I pointed out the inconsistency, the nail tech became aggressive and rude. The service was so bad I ended it before any color was applied. Fail in the cleanliness department as well. I did not observe any sanitation or cleaning in the time I was there. Worst ever! I went here to get my brows arched and waited ten minutes that was cool. I sit in the chair for service and when I get up one of my eyebrows looked foreign to the other. One was thin and narrow the other one was wide. I told her she messed them up and she just looked At me and told a bold face lie saying "they look even". my eye brows looked horrible. A whole chunk of hair was missing where it should be. When I told her it was uneve multiple time she then just tried to brush it with the eyebrow brush. On top of that they charged me $10 because I was using a debit card. I never in my life paid over $8-9 for a simple brow wax at a nail salon. my eyebrows are not thick they simply needed shape no extra or nothing. At this point you messed my eye brows up it should be free. I have one thin eye brow and one thick one and at this point I can't get the hair back. I have to draw on my right eye brow everyday and match it with the left. If you didn't know how to evenly arch eye brows or couldn't see why do you even provide the service. She did not apologize nor offer to compensate me for the mess she made they just walked me to the register requesting that I pay. I have given this place several chances to redeem themselves and with the exception of Vivian who was a part time tech, they have never done so. Today I tried for the last time. I came for a pedi and full set. I had a previous set of acrylic only on. The pedi went ok but when the older manager started my set she poked a nail and I said ouch. Her previous took that opportunity to mention that the tech hadnt filed her nails smooth. The tech got up and proceeded to stand and smooth one nail. The previous client stated that needed to move slower because she didn't do it properly. I sat quietly in my chair. The client then stated that she was rough and hurt her hands too. The tech got angry at the criticism and said that if she wanted her to go slow she needed.to find someone else. Now I will admit the client could have handled the situation differently but the main issue was that there was a language barrier between the two of them. The client wasn't a native English speaker and was trying to say that the tech rushed her nails and didn't provide the best service. Again, not my business so I sat quietly. When they tech sat back down she was clearly irritated and looked at my nails and said you need a take down. I said fine, then she said that since it hurt when she poked my broken nail that I needed to soak them off. I said that's fine. Now she launches into a complaint loudly about me not saying I needed a take down. Now I'm irritated but I said I apologize for not explaining it to you properly. She keeps complaining and states that it will take 30 minutes, ok, more complaining it will take 40 minutes, Ok complaining and now it's 45 minutes. I politely said ma'am each time you state a time it gets longer. I said very calmly that i noticed her change in attitude and that i had nothing to do with it. I just wanted my nails done and hadn't been rude to her at all. She keeps complaining. How long will it be and can we start? Now she says it's too late come back tomorrow. At this point I'm just done. I told her it was poor customer service and that my birthday was tomorrow and I would not be returning. She tried to half heartedly apologize and I stated.that if that was the way she said sorry, she needn't bother. I'm sure that she was surprised I didn't curse or fuss loudly. She just stared sheepishly. At this point I said, I would go but you need to give me a bill. I paid my bill, tipped the tech who did my pedi and said good evening to everyone and left. I understand that it was late, and had she simply said that I would have been okay with it. However, she did not. I'm not the whipping boy for clients who complain. I didn't insert myself into that situation and I didn't comment. I was just minding my business trying to get cute for my birthday. I'm off this week and rest assured my plans aren't ruined but my patience with this establishment has run out. Steer clear. They don't really even do nails that well. read more
