I never felt the connection with Kathia Roberts that you should feel with a practitioner like this. For a service that is not covered by insurance and is completely out of pocket I think you deserve something that I felt was totally lacking for me personally. I went for the initial visit, then the follow up. Got tonic, tea and supplements but I don't think I learned anything new or really benefited from the experience. I'm not saying she should work for free but I was definitely being strung along for follow up appointments unnecessarily. In the end I am left wishing I had spent the money on something that had been more helpful. I feel that there was some dishonesty in the approach and definitely don't find that to be ethical or professional. Because I know how hard of a decision this first step can be (emotionally and financially) I think it's important to share my experience. This may not be everyone's experience but it was not the right fit for me.

In just a few minutes I immediately got a sense of the kind of experience to expect with this office: After waiting on call hold for about 5 minutes, someone picked up the line and immediately hung up! In astonishment, I proceeded to check the online reviews for this office, and low and behold, just about every review was 2 stars or lower with complaints about poor customer service, poor appointment management, and poor experiences with the staff. So, I'm taking this initial experience as a warning and confirmation of these poor reviews and looking for a different provider. Nothing is more precious than your health and your time. Doctors aren't paid pennies. So, if they can't at least get their reception in order to provide patients with good service, then they aren't worth the business!

Dalton is all about getting as much money as he can from insurance carriers, namely Medicaire and ADAP. When the woman finally picked up, she was extremely rude. She kept talking over me, raised her voice at one point, and rushed me off the phone when I tried to ask a question. She would not let me make an appointment, and said that they would call me back later in the day. How hard is it to make an appointment?? She also asked me for my name twice, my phone number twice, my insurance carrier twice. Extremely frustrating. They called me back, and I was busy. I returned the call and got another woman who was very pleasant. Of course, she had to ask me the same questions that the first woman asked me, which was annoying. I asked her if they were in-network with my insurance carrier, and she said that they would look into it and call me if there was a problem. Not sure how they didn't already know--everybody other place that I've been to knows whether they are in-network or not. I show up at my appointment, and they tell me that they're not in network so the charge is going to be enormous. What a bait and switch. I was furious. I have no idea if the physical therapy is any good, but my experience with this place was just abysmal.
