I work in healthcare admin. Im amazed that people can give this "office" any decent review. This…read moreis a medical mill. One Dr confided in me "rules". They refer to eachother and visits can be only 20 minutes. These mills are the worse places you can go. Ur problem will get worse. U go from one "specialist" to another on different days under the same roof to drs who are salaried. They have to oblige by rules of not treating anything that they can milk your insurance for. Dr Harden is who I made my first appointment with. After 6 visits to different referring "doctors", nothing got done and I never met this woman. I'm interested in finding out more about her, and I will. I switched over easily and saw the Dr I should have seen from the start at Beth Israel. Are these drs on hospital staffs? All u need to do is see how chaotic this place is run. Patients coming and going real fast, staff overwhelmed. Go see it before you go to this disaster and end up sicker! I know how these places make money. You can be sure the drs here are not, but there's one laughing all the way to the bank. It's the owner. If I'm wrong, have Dr Harden schedule a meeting with me and I'll take this down with an apology. All the wasted insurance resources, the time, only to be treated like a dog! THIS IS A FAST PACED BUSINESS, NOT A DOCTORS OFFICE. It's DISGUSTING ON EVERY LEVEL. FYI: Drs don't make a lot of money anymore. The only way to get rich is to run mills that make u return repeatedly. U aren't supposed to refer to yourself, but if these drs are salaried, that's exactly what they're doing. Those are rules by the owner!

I had sought a good neurologist that could treat my epilepsy as a result of my brain tumor for several years and she, by a long shot, has been the best! My experience at Jersey City Medical Center (part of RWJBarnabas Health) raises serious concerns…read moreabout patient treatment and billing practices. I presented to the ER on July 21-22, 2025 with a stable neck lesion. After labs and imaging, I repeatedly asked to be discharged. Instead, I was told I had to stay overnight because ENT surgery was supposedly planned for the next morning. When I questioned this multiple times, I was told I could not leave and that "police officer at the door won't let me out". Despite being kept overnight, I received no active care. From roughly 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, I was left unattended in an ER bay -- no bed, no blanket, no food or water, and no documented monitoring. The next morning, the ENT stated surgery would be scheduled over a month later, confirming there was no emergency and no medical reason for the overnight "observation." Nevertheless, JCMC billed high-acuity ER and hospital observation charges for this stay. Later, an ENT follow-up visit billed a diagnostic nasal endoscopy that was never performed; that charge was removed only after I challenged the documentation in writing. I submitted detailed complaints to JCMC Patient Advocacy and Billing in August 2025, including a code-by-code dispute. In September, JCMC responded with a generic letter stating that all services were appropriate and closed the case without addressing the lack of care or contradictory medical evidence. Since then, leadership has stated they are "reviewing" disputed CPT codes for weeks, while billing timelines continue to run. Subsequent MRI imaging and independent ENT opinions confirmed there was no abscess or emergent condition. Because of how this matter has been handled, my case is now under review by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners, New Jersey Consumer Affairs, and the New Jersey Department of Health, and will be escalated further, including to the New Jersey Attorney General and the courts if necessary, to ensure accountability and restore fairness. Patients deserve transparency, informed consent, and appropriate care -- not coercion, unsupported billing, and prolonged delays. I strongly encourage patients to choose other medical facilities than JCMC, carefully review observation status, documentation, and charges, and to advocate for themselves.

AVOID THE J.C. MEDICAL CENTER PSYCH SERVICES. So I chose the Amerihealth plan, and when the new year started I get informed by other staff that they do not accept Amerihealth insurance for outpatient services. 2. I had to go to the E.R. because of Suboxone withdrawal symptoms like diarrhea and other problems. They did not follow the correct protocol for learning about how much Suboxone I had been prescribed and the last time I picked up the medication. 3. The psych ward is the most depressing one I've ever seen--and I've been in quite a few. There are no windows, no color--it's drab with overhead white flourescent lighting. What is wrong with these people? Don't they know environment can affect people's moods?

We'd give MINUS STARS ---*s if it were possible!…read more We are a close-knit group of Seniors who suffer from conditions involving, among things, the Neurological system. During our group talks we either inform and recommend the best Doctors' offices/clinics encouraging our friends to go there, to help them; OR inform them of an ill-advised visit to certain Doctors/Medical offices. As this office is headed by a Office Manager, who's incapable of controlling herself, -let alone controlling the goings-on in a doctor's office as doing an efficient job is out of her purview), ----her repulsive attitude is unheard of in business. -but then she's paranoid about saving her hindquarters, so she's vindictive New York Neurology Associates nyneurologists.com, is immensely ill-advised as an option for those seeking Neurological help and /or treatment. Caveat Emptor! After 2 months of having called, (the first time being told there would be call back which never came to fruition) then leaving messages, including two online ones as well -requesting appointments so there were five, (5) attempts of contact in 2 months requesting appointments, New York Neurology Associates / nyneurologists.com never had the courtesy to respond and/or confirm the last online request suggesting a day and time. Finally during that 5th call, our friend requested to speak to the Office Manager. When she eventually called him back, he was disposed but returned her call immediately-within an hour only to have her explode throwing a tantrum, throwing accusations, fabricating events--we were there hearing her screaming insults--claiming he, he ---and get this---insisted--- on a appointment-- trying to blame him for hers and her staff's -trying to save her own skin, for their mistakes. Our poor friend called 5 times in two months which is barely persisting!--They never responded! Our friend asked at that point to speak to her supervisor, who of course she refused to connect him to! -Since everyone knows when a consumer asks to speak to a supervisor and the staffer refuses to connect him, the staffer--in this case the Office manager -- knows she's doing something wrong. Frankly we can't see that any doctor is worth climbing over the obstacle of encountering such belligerence from a woman with a log on her shoulder disguised as an Office Manager's clothing. Even hiring someone like this who represents you, who looks at reality through the lens of paranoia solely reflects on the doctors who did the hiring! It is our considered opinion that potential patients of New York Neurology Associates nyneurologists.com save themselves abuse, follow and believe the bad reviews, and skip this one.

Dr Tikoo was in my medical network and this place is easy to get to, for me anyway by public transportation. Definitely true what others are saying about this place. The wait times are always 3 plus hours just to see the doctor. Not only that, but when you finally get into seeing him the staff is constantly knocking on his door and coming in to give updates on other patients. The waiting room is quite small. Leading people to sit in the outer office for another doctor. Or in some cases it can be standing by the receptionist desk. Which of course can lead to a added stressful situation with the staff. Phone lines are ringing constantly and your lucky if they pick up. For me twice was enough to come here. Follow up results visit was just as bad & long. Avoid at all costs.

The waiting areas in both offices Jersey City and North Bergen are as filthy is the staff is rude. The Doctor purposely overbooks in total disregard to his patients. This needs to stop. Chairs are falling apart. Carpet is staind & stinks. Bathrooms are atrocious. Doctor abuses his power & the patients pay the price. Horrific. Needs to be stopped.
