I had a similar experience as Erika. I saw Dr Graven for about 6 months for menopause. She changed my hormone to Femring. After I started that hormone, I began having bleeding issues similar to a period. I hadn't had periods in Many years.
First of all her office is almost impossible to contact especially for medication refills. I was out of refills, my pharmacy contacted them 3-4 times with no response. I tried to call them 2x and just got their Dam message service that can't help with medications. The 3rd time I called I finally talked to someone who refilled my medication. When my issue first started I called them and got a call back from a nurse practitioner. She called the dr and called me back with not really any solutions.
Dr Graven did 2 ultrasounds and I was still having the issue. She didn't do a pelvic exam, pap or biopsy. I turned 60 in December, been in menopause since my mid 30's haven't had this problem since the hormone change. The first time I had an ultrasound the office didn't schedule me when the dr was there so I had to book another follow up.
We changed medical groups to Sharp Rees Stealy in December so now I'm still trying to find out what's going with my body. read more
