He is so patient, attentive, caring, sweet, and funny, and he's also very well-spoken and easy to communicate with. Even though he's extremely busy, he always makes sure his patients feel heard and cared for. Before delivering my baby, he had just helped another mom deliver and came to me right after. I know he must have been exhausted, but he still provided me with the same attentive and thorough care and made sure everything was done perfectly. He even continued checking on me after delivery to make sure I was recovering well. My whole family loves him, and I'm so grateful I found him! He has a way of listening and speaking that makes me feel like I matter, and my desires are worth listening to. He is an incredibly talented Dr and I am so grateful that I was able to have my second delivered by him. I don't know how this is possible but he doesn't seem to have been jaded by the medical field nor is he a slave to the system - he is one of a kind and an excellent advocate for women. I come from a family of Doctors so I say this with respect -- but most have an ego about them and I have felt patronized and dismissed by some. Dr Cobb is not that way at all. He is both confident and humble in his care. He made me feel safe and cared for. He has a way about him that is integrous and highly capable. If you are a mom carrying a piece of you into the world you probably feel both the heavy responsibility and fear of getting it right. Personally giving birth has been one of the most important moments of my life. Having the best Doctor by your side makes all the difference

This woman literally saved my life!…read more I was having my son at Mary Birch and my doctor was not on duty, but Dr. Huskey who is part of the same medical group was there, and thank God for that!! I was 11 days past due and even though I had been on fetal monitoring twice a week for a month, no one realized just how big my son was - 9lbs 5oz - a rather large baby. Anyhow, after I delivered my gorgeous, healthy, baby I started losing a concerning amount of blood. Dr. Huskey took control of the situation and never let on to my husband, mother, or me that anything was wrong. She kept a cool head and a calm demeanor and just before I was going to have to be taken to the OR she managed to get the bleeding stopped. She was awesome at coaching me through pushing, she delivered my son safely and she made sure I was still around to be his mommy! I only hope that if we're lucky enough to be blessed with another child that Dr. Huskey is there to deliver him or her!

Kayti allowed me to be in active pushing for over 4 hours and expressed no concerns. My family pulled her aside on two occasions expressing their concerns regarding the prolonged time and belief that my baby was in jeopardy. Kayti insisted that it was completely safe for me to continue pushing. My family had to intervene and call 911 against her recommendation to get me to the hospital. Upon arrival, the hospital team catheterized within seconds. Kayti and team tried to do a catheterization multiple times at home and were unable to do so. My delivery and its aftermath revealed multiple critical health concerns which were related to a high stress prolonged birth: my baby's cord blood showed excess acidity, indicating high stress levels and posing a risk of brain damage; my baby's glucose levels were low, requiring 24 hours of monitoring; and my baby had difficulty regulating his body temperature, dropping as low as 94 degrees Fahrenheit, necessitating placement under a heating lamp. All these complications relate directly to a stressful and mismanaged labor.

No words can truly describe the experience I had with Kayti but I will try my best to write it out…read more I was referred to Kayti from my doula Rosie. She was the first Midwife and the only midwife I called to interview. I instantly knew that she was going to be my midwife. The prenatal care that I had with Kayti was remarkable. My appointments with her were more than clinical. My husband and my toddler were able to come to the appointments. I truly felt that Kayti listened to everything I had to say. She really got to know me as a whole person medically and personally. Which is really needed when you are planning an intimate home birth. During my labor Kayti and her student, Amy were there for me every step of the way. I was never scared at any point of the birth. I put all my trust in them and felt supported the entire time. This says a lot because my labor was over 48 hours and I ended up transferring to the hospital because baby did not want to descend into my pelvis. I believe that Kayti did everything she could for me and my baby boy. When she told me that we needed to transfer. I knew it was the right decision. Even then, I felt like my baby and I were safe. We then transferred to the hospital and Kayti stayed with me and advocated for me until I had to go back for a cesarean. Post natal care was just as amazing. Since I did not get to have the birth that I had planned at home, Kayti planned a rebirth and a bone closing ceremony for me at my home at our last meeting together. That was exactly what I needed emotionally and spiritually. This just shows how thoughtful and loving Kayti is. My baby boy didn't come into this world as expected, but it was his own unique story and Kayti was apart of this unforgettable experience. I am forever grateful for her and Amy.

I read good reviews about him but it's not been a good experience since surgery. Make a long story short. I've been trying for 2 days to see the Surgeon because something isn't right in the private area. It's been impossible to get a call from Anyone who can help. The front office is not helpful and I told the lady what I was concerned about. I got transferred to Someone who was not available and left a detailed message. I've waited all day for a call and no call back. I called Wed morning and again left a message and included that I'd be at the dentist after 1PM and She called at 1:30 & 3:30 telling Me She was leaving at 4PM. I didn't get out of the dentist until after 5:30. She had plenty of time to call Me prior to 1PM. I called the first week of surgery due to severe inflammation. The Doc at the office told the gal to tell Me to go to the ER. I refused and wanted to hear from Dr. Cizmar. He couldn't be bothered either on a Friday to see Me or call anything in and he too said to go to the ER. Does Anyone realize how much it cost to go to the ER??!! I wasn't asking for pain meds! Nobody cared. Nor does Anyone care that I've got a post surgical problem that I need a Doc who's familiar with the surgery I had to look at it. It's not normal to Me. I'm only 2 1/4 weeks from surgery and should be taken more seriously. Obviously, he doesn't want to work and if he isn't there then why should his Med assistant. I'm so angry that something that should have had no complications has turned into a nightmare. I'll never go back! Maybe for the post op but he's going to get an ear full for incompetence in office and his response to a surgical patient with a big concern.

Specifically, he took the time to call himself to go over questions he had and his assistant literally held my hand and distracted me by talking to me through my biopsy which I completely welcomed and appreciated. I trust Dr. Henshaw impeccably with my upcoming surgery. I'm very happy with the office and clinical staff as well.
