I've been on antibiotics for nine days and have several more days to take the medication. I was in pretty bad shape before coming to Dr. Radke's office! After being on the antibiotic for five days - I then got a gigantic abscess by the two infected teeth. The abscess drained and I was able to see Dr. Radke a few days later. My root canal procedures took two office visits because my teeth were so infected that the doctor needed to impact the roots with anabiotics before he could complete the root canal procedure. Because of the outstanding work that I received from Dr. Radke and his assistant, Kelly, --- I was compelled to ask his staff how could I let others know of his phenomenal skills so that other patients would know that this is the office to come to when you really need help! They will always insist on collecting an advance payment even if you are covered by insurance. The…read moreusual trick is to charge you $700+ for a "Cone CT" scan that is unnecessary and generally not covered by your insurance. (I have BlueCross dental PPO who generally covers everything). In my case, for initial exam (usually covered at 100% by BlueCross), they insisted on collecting an advance payment of $355. Once I paid, they charged me $700+ for "Cone CT" and have not refunded the money. They subjected me to unnecessary radiation despite my telling them that I am a "cancer survivor" and didn't want the scan. For Dr. Stuparitz, it appears that making money takes priority over a patient's well being. Sad! By posting my experience, I hope I can save others from being fleeced. Even if I can save one person, I will consider my $355 loss had some redeeming value. Thanks!

And yet,.. here is one more star/medal/prize: I came to Dr. Cooper for consultation about my old failing/failed implants. He took an X-Ray, then did a CT scan, shared his findings with recommendations, and gave me a referral to the oral surgeon/implantologist. How much do they usually charge you for a consultation + X-Ray + CT scan? I know the answer, been there, done that, and your answer is wrong: Dr. Cooper charged me $0,.. Nothing! Can you believe that? I don't want people to print this review and show it to him, "You charged this guy $0, and I want the same price", but I just can't help yelling from the roof of the world's tallest tower, "This Doctor/Dentist must be from another planet where humanity, kindness, compassion, and decency still exists!" And, of course, his staff is always "top notch", and I suspect that the staff usually mimic the doctor, and I learned that in my long life spanning apx. 3 generations. No, I don't want to claim that he is the only one in the World, but I am saying that I have never met the care and kindness of such highest level. Thank you Dr. Cooper and your staff!

I saw my oral surgeon this morning, before seeing Dr. Max, and the surgeon told me that Dr. Max contacted him asking for his 2nd opinion on a questionable area around the tooth he was treating (not his root canal), and Dr. Max told me that he also discussed that area with my general dentist. Now that's a true CARE, isn't it? But perhaps I shouldn't marvel why Dr. Max is so exceptionally caring and instead marvel why not all dentists and doctors are this way, since doctors are supposed to care for and about their patients and put their interests first.
