This place gets a big no. My favorite part was when the check came, and even that's a stretch because it was incorrect and completely overpriced. The craziest sticker shock was the small cup of guacamole for 6 dollars. SIX DOLLARS?! This restaurant is conveniently located next to a grocery store where you could pick up all the ingredients to make your own underwhelming tacos for less than the 80 dollars we spent for 5 people. I insist you find another establishment to support. You can find much friendlier service and tastier food at a much better price. read more

Nice setting, festive, very apropos Attentive staff, big menu! Food portions generous. Food flavor average, no stand-out seasoning which I guess for a Mall environment may be best. Some Nacho Fajita Chicken pcs were burnt / left burnt taste like grill needed cleaning, fyi. read more

Great burritos, street tacos, nachos, and steaks. Family met there, ordered different meals, each had opportunity to try something different and it didn't disappoint. Service was accommodating, knowledgeable, knew what I was asking for and added some salsa to kick it to another level. Enjoyed the atmosphere, laughter and the other patrons looked to be enjoying themselves. read more

Our first visit was excellent. Our server, Miguel was awesome. We enjoyed his positive/ happy demeanor and fast efficient service. We started with an app, the Tres Amigos. Great Guacamole! The chorizo lacked a little kick. My wife had the Mexican Flag tamales which she said were very good. I had the Burrito California with steak and chicken. Uffdah, that about put me in a coma but it tasted so good I ate the whole thing. A feat for me. Anyway, the location is in a "mall" next to trigs. I would say it seemed clean and well managed. The service was average/lacking. Our waiter forgot multiple things including an order or guacamole, water and rice. Otherwise pretty average. Our overall experience was very lackluster due to a very loud/obnoxious environment, average waiting experience and average food. The food was decent other then some entrees being colder then preferred. If this was are first dining experience at nachos we wouldn't be returning anytime soon, but my family has been here before and we know how good it can be. This is a very nice restaurant. It's inside the mall. But it's plenty big. Many booths and there are tables inside a nice large party room. Food was very quick to come to the table. The quality of the food was very good. Very large serving sizes and fair prices. We couldn't of been happier. The servers were all very friendly and helpful. The margaritas were delicious. Staff was somewhat attentive although not super friendly. We ordered regular lime Margheritas on the rocks. They looked artificially bright lime green and were not great. I asked about the color but the server just looked at me and walked away. Later i saw another server carrying Margheritas that looked normal, with real lime juice. Enchiladas were just warm and tasted like they came out of the frozen food section of the grocery store. They first brought the wrong dinners for the couple we were with but quickly corrected it. The chimichanga our friend orfered looked like two soggy tamales (size) instead of a chimichanga. He even asked if that was a chimichanga and the server said it was. Not likely to return. read more

Really delicious food! Service was quick and easy. Big portions. Everything was so good! We got the carne asada, California burrito, and a salad and veggies. The guacamole was also good. The steak was a hit. The decor is fun- lots of Mexican hats and paintings. We will be back. read more

The best Mex in the Northwoods hands down! Cute place, super friendly staff! Food was exceptional! The chunky guacamole was huge and SO good! I had a shrimp quesadilla and my husband had a shrimp chimichanga, both huge portions and delicious! The drinks were also great with special touches added. We will for sure be back! read more

Bad food quality! Way overprice. They can't even do tacos right. Served soft tortilla (not shell) with overcooked beef that was under seasoned, but over salted. Temale and enchilada microwaved to room temperature outside and cold scant amount of unflavored meat, but the plate was warm. My wife and older son refused to eat more than a bite. My youngest son wouldn't stop complaining how bad his masa was so hard and disgusting. We ate maybe 5% before abandoning the meal altogether. This is the worst attempt at Mexican food. Taco Bell is more authentic Mexican food than this restaurant. That's bad, it really is being that Taco Bell isn't even attempting to be Mexican food. Nachos Restaurant could never exist in the southern states. Unlike small Wisconsin towns, we know what's acceptable Mexican food. This is the worst. read more

Tacos were ok. The advertised hard shell but it was literally a soft shell dipped in something to look like a hard shell. Meat was chewy took me 5mins to finish 1 taco and there were 4. Took us 45mins to finally get our food. read more

It's a little hidden inside the mall walkway next to Trig's, but this place is a hidden gem! Felt very clean and service was prompt. We ordered the chunky guac and chips, and the quacome was basically pico de gallo with avocados but still very good. I got a molcajete bowl, which was excellent. My fiancée got the chicken quesadillas which were very good as well. Great portions, great drinks and great food. Best Mexican food in Rhinelander! read more

Food was delicious! I had shrimp tacos, my husband had the burrito especial. Complementary chips and salsa were great too. Service was fast and waiter and other staff were very friendly. Dining area was clean and nicely decorated. We will be back!! read more
