Customer service is sub par here. Good luck getting in touch with someone who does sales. Which is totally ironic. Do better please.

With all the madness around, they were calm, cool and collected. They did not over charge, quality plywood sheets were given and they worked endless hours in the heat with hardly any breaks on loading cars/trucks. To anyone that tries to claim price gouging, you are literally, out of your mind and clearly showed up last min with your "entitled self". When a truck full of 400 sheets showed up from Pompano, they selflessly stayed after until the last one was gone. The site showed $32 per sheet but that specific one (thickness) sold out... then they went to the thicker sheets which were $40... as do all stores. I'm super grateful for them because I just moved here with the military and was away for school in Virginia, so I came back right in time for a major hurricane. All the stores were sold out and he said to come by. Thank you International Plywood and Team for everything, I'm definitely bringing some cookies by, post-storm, to show my appreciation. P.S. great quality sheets and I feel much safer facing this beast of a hurricane.

Realizing that using black electrical tape was not aesthetically pleasing to the designer wannabe's…read moreeye, I drove myself off to the local hardware, which according to Yelp was the ACE Hardware located on 284 NE 79th St In Miami. In short they gave me an estimate of $8.00 for 5 small rolls of different colored electrical tape with 1 small white one in. OMG I was appalled. Disgusted with Yelp I turned to Google and found the Little River Building & Home Supply store. It wasn't far from this ACE Robbery store. I did not have high hopes as I had never heard of this place and it seemed to be off the beaten path for sure. It was 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, and like most places in Little Haiti I was expecting it to be closed or be closing soon. I pull up, and pull in, and behind the counter, to me; (which to you may seem odd), is two medium framed, Italian Middle Aged ladies who seem to mean business. One lady clearly runs the store, the other is either family, or is just providing company. I obviously seem exasperated because the one Italian mafia looking middle aged lady asks me how she can help me, which I think is quite refreshing in Little Haiti, but anyway, I tell her I am desperately looking for white electrical tape, a feat that seems to be elusive as finding Dom Perignon on 54th and NE 2nd Ave. She turns away from me and I think, yeah they don't have it either, I should probably should just look online. She turns back to me holding a large roll of white electrical tape and says, "here we go". I look at her like she is definitely the Italian Mafia. I ask her how much. She says; "$3 dollars". Well that was that right there. Like someone out there said; it's all in the little things. It damn well sure is. I have been back three times since. The Owners name is Laguna. I don't think she's Italian. I have never had the audacity to ask. I think she has some handsome sons though, and I think perhaps they put in a shift or two at the store, but I think on the whole she works herself to death there. Her husband died years ago. She told me she knew more than her husband did, and I believe her. I once told her about a speaker wire project I was doing and she asked me I about the points I was using. I had never heard of a point but I had seen one. I just never put two and two together. I told her about the silver mirror that was hanging by a miracle and a wisp of air, she scolded me on the chosen anchor and educated me on the correct anchor as well as the overall use of the stud finder while I was trying to find a stud finder app on my IPHONE. What I can tell you if you're a Man - I mean you must be reading this for something informational enough to want to go to this store, is that their 80lb cement bags are $6.90 each, and it doesn't matter how much you want they have it on hand. And you are so welcome; I took all those pictures just for you big daddy.

WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT A DAMAGED DOOR…read more I purchased French doors for my home, but they arrived with a broken flush bolt. When I returned to the store to report the issue, I explained that I was frustrated because my installer would need to make an additional trip, charging me extra for the return visit. The response I received was completely unacceptable. The staff accused me of breaking the part myself, stating, "YOU BROKE IT, NOT US. WE DON'T SELL DOORS WITH BROKEN PARTS." I wasn't asking for much just acknowledgment of the inconvenience and perhaps a small gesture of goodwill. Instead, they refused any compensation and continued to insist I had damaged the part myself. I expected better customer service a family owned business. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. You will be much better off going to a brand name like Garcia Door & Window

The…read morequality of the door was OK, some of the holes for the handles didn't matched exactly and it was really difficult to make it work, since the door is in aluminum it's hard to redo any screw hole. My biggest complaint is the person they recommend for the installation, Oscar 786-546-2022 came to give me the estimate after not showing 3 weeks earlier, that day he told me that installation of the door and 2 windows will be $600 and that was a super deal because he normally charge $1000. So I asked him if he takes care of everything, and he replied YES, the work is going to be perfect. So when the time for the installation came, he arrived one hour late, made a mess in the door because the frame was over 1 inch smaller and he didn't finished the cosmetic imperfections. He went ahead to tell me, "when I come back to install you the other 2 windows I will fix that for FREE". Really? Free? What are the $600 I'm paying you for? So at the end I asked my neighbor how much he paid for his installation with the same guy and it was less than I was charged. After this ugly chapter I found a different guy to install the remaining windows and fix the mess done by Oscar. I gave Economy Windows another chance and placed an order for 3 more windows, Juan Carlos, the owner is so disorganized that he couldn't get the right measurements neither send me an invoice with the right products and amount to be pay. So I give up and went to Garcia Door & Window 305-634-0635. This people got it right from the first time.

We placed an order for $338 worth of custom-cut strips of plastic. We ordered this from them in the past. They were given the exact dimensions to cut in a drawing. The communication this time around was deplorable. There is complete apathy there. Finally, when the order was ready we picked it up. They would not insert into our application because the dimensions were off. They came here to pick them up, only because I asked them to, and then they took an extended period of time to fix them knowing were behind on our deadline thanks to them. They delivered the strips back and we were horrified. They tried to fix them by grinding them down. It was a completely third-world rig. Literally, you saw grind marks all over them. They didn't fit once again. This is a company that is supposed to have machines that can do modern work like CNC and laser cutting. I tried more times than I could remember and have the emails to prove it to get anyone there to accept responsibility and to fix the problem. I left many, many messages for the owner and NOBODY ever called us back. There is a girl that answers the phone, but you cannot get past her. You could tell when talking to her that she felt bad because she was stuck in the middle. We will never do business with this company again after finding ALRO Plastics who delivered a flawless job. I placed a claim with Bank of America and it was denied. I am laughing because they put the effort to send our bank paperwork yet their spineless owner would not call back. What kind of a man is that? I am still shaking my head as to why the bank would deny a claim when I sent them all of the proof of our email correspondence showing they completely ignored us and did not rectify the problem. BOA denied a claim because they provided our bank copies of the invoice and signature that we ordered them... seriously??? This is such the typical service in Miami and why we try to purchase outside of this swamp! Happily, we threw away the useless strips of plastic in the garbage! They beat us for $338 dollars but how much money will they lose when others read this? If they even bother replying, they have no defense because all of our employees are witnesses!!!

They did not have it, but we were shown Shell Stone Limestone as an alternative. I asked if this was a comparable stone and was told "yes." Wilson told me all natural stone requires maintenance, but the Shell Stone did not require any additional work. This is simply not true. Our new patio is stained in orange in certain parts. I called our installers, they told me shell stone is super porous because it is essentially "lleso," and it is NOT like travertine. They took up some of the pavers, and the sand is white the way it was when it was laid. Therefore, there is not trapped moisture underneath and the problem is the actual stone. I have emailed, called, and Whatsapped the store. I was able to finally chat with Tonga through Whatsapp. On two separate occasions she told me she would reach out to Wilson the store manager who sold us the stone pavers. Wilson has never called us back, and when I brought this up to Tonga the second time I reached out to her, she told me he has " a lot on his desk..." BUYER BEWARE.
