I was able to look at their website and see the designs of doors in the size I need. I ordered three inside doors and am happy with them. The best part is, I just called to pay over the phone and the contractor went to pick up the doors. He had wanted me to meet him there but I did not feel I needed to. He also was able to get hinges here as well. The lady on the phone named....Jennifer? She is very helpful. Oddly enough my phone hung up on her twice. (Why doesn't it hang up on the rude people I come acroos?) Haha Anyway, she was very nice. She explained everything in detail. I knocked off a star because it sounds like they have hardly any doors in stock for the size I needed. The one I wanted happened to be in stock, but they did not have many. They had the trim pieces I needed but the place is kind of a disorganized free for all. You walk in and there are customers walking around looking at inventory -- some being helped by BB salespeople with no line or organization. I saw an employee standing there after a customer had just walked away and asked him a question and he rudely said he's busy with someone and I'll have to wait. So I went up to the front desk and asked for help where I got a better response. It's kind of a free for all but if you're persistent you can get what you want. In the middle of January we decided we would hire some contractors to do a facelift to our condo. We wanted to replace the existing 8 interior doors in the condo. At first we were going to personally remove the horrible paint ourselves from some of the doors, and all of the door casings. We changed our minds pretty quickly as the job was too much and changed the scope to replace all of the doors. The initial contractor we chose came and measured the door needs and recommended Builders Bargain. On January 24th we picked out 5 hollow core, and 3 solid doors. Each of the floor displays had signs on them stating delivery in 1-2 days. Completing the project wasn't just about getting the doors, but also fitting into the schedule of the contractor and that is a whole other story. In just a couple of days all of the hollow core doors arrived. By this point we were forced to select a different contractor and the new contractor picked up the doors that came in. Builders Bargain proceeded to tell us the solid doors wouldn't be available until February 10th. That is two full weeks past the promised 1-2 days that is on their signs. This put us in a real bind for completing the job as we had contractor deadlines and personal deadlines. When the 10th came, Builders Bargain told us they still hadn't taken delivery from the manufacturer. I heard in the background one employee state that they had cancelled all deliveries for that Friday, even though multiple phone calls had confirmed this date. Keep in mind new doors have to be climatized for 2-3 days before they can be installed in the location. So now I am forced to play the manager card. Over the next few days he tells me that the doors have never arrived in their warehouse in West Palm Beach (61 miles from us) but when they come in he will let me know. Says we can go get them as soon as they are confirmed receipted their. I said no way. I have no way to collect them from West Palm Beach. A few more conversations and he says he will get them and bring them to me when they arrive. Calls each day back and forth and they finally arrive in that warehouse on the 16th. That is 23 days after purchase. I heard excuses about weather, and manufacturing, etc. The manager was nice. They did deliver them to our condo, but the delay made this untenable. The initial worker was nice, but that kind of delay isn't excusable. They took my money three full weeks before delivery. I had to be aggressive to get what they promised in 1-2 days. I'm not really sure what my other options were as the first five doors were already installed but not painted as the whole project was at a standstill. It is more detailed that I am able to write here with regards to the original contractor and the subsequent one we used. Because of the false promise I would not recommend Builders Bargain. read more

We went looking for doors yesterday after a recommendation from a friend. We weren't there 5 minutes, and although it was busy, Matt came over and helped us find the doors we needed. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. The doors look great and are much cheaper than Lowe's and Home Depot. We were only looking for bifold doors (pine, already painted), but they have a huge selection of really nice doors in all colors and styles. Worst experience I've ever had with a supplier. I have called in 6 times and every time they can never find any info on the order I submitted and told me the rep who sold me the product would get back to me. They've never once called me back. My contractor has called the guy multiple times and he blows him off. Today I finally got him on the phone, and his excuse was that he is too busy to go around checking on his orders. Letting me know that since I already paid them my money I was no longer important, even though they have delivered me nothing! I paid over 3500 dollars in a deposit. Today when he finally checks on my order status tells me that the supplier no longer can get me this door. This was after telling me that the turn around time was 30 days. He finally checks on it only to find out he was never able to get them. Absolutely insane and now I'm 45 days behind schedule because he was too busy to check on his paying customers order status when requested multiple times. So, I have to take time off to drive all the way back out here because these guys aren't considerate enough to give that extra bit of customer service during a pandemic when one would imagine they need the money. Worst business in Fort Lauderdale. They do not answer the phone, promise delivery dates and then tell you are crazy when it doesn't arrive. They are now more than 15 days late and won't tell us when we are getting our order. My wife who is from Italy is handling the project. She speaks with an an accent. She also handles HR for the largest restaurant group in Miami Beach and is responsible for 2k employees. We regularly make our purchases of certain doors here at this store. There's never a long line and they know you by name. The customer service is usually pretty good but it's always a real test when something goes sideways. In this instance, one of the glass pieces were broken on an impact door and had to be replaced before we were able to pick it up. Stopped by their store and although they don't make the glass and had to wait for an alternate piece to be shipped, Barry took the extra step and went the extra mile to find a piece that they had in the store. Very deceiving company!! All they care about is money and not really customer satisfaction. I am very displeased with my experience with this company. I agreed for an impact door. Paid $500 deposit ith the knowledge that my remaining balance would be about $500/$550 with tax of course. But I ended up paying $150+ for some box that was never mentioned to me when I agreed to my contract. It was like today was just about picking up the last due payment and that was it. And the rep didn't even fulfill the promises he mentioned to me when I first agreed to hire them. This was a bad experience and poor customer service. Never again. Thankfully it was just one door. I think the biggest thing that impressed me was the efficiency of the workers who installed my windows. It was quick, clean and well done. I have a 22 month old and his sleep has been just tremendous with the huge decrease in noise from outside. Mom is super happy :) Not only that, I can keep my AC at 76 all day and it's still cold. I use to have to keep it at 71 to maintain cooling. The sealing is solid! Last thing is I get so much light through these windows with out getting the heat. People also can't see inside but I can see clearly out. Very satisfied with the windows, the installers and all. read more

I have rarely been so impressed with a company and its owners. Greg and Nancy are very personable and worked for us to get us the job done and done right. The windows and sliders are beautiful. The most amazing part has been the quiet. Those thunderstorms we get in South Florida, can't hear them! The train, 1/3 mile away, can't hear it. The installers were professional and finished the job in one day. Then, Greg came to meet the city inspector and stayed to help me clean up the windows, helped with painting around the windows and overall hung around until the job was done. This location is incredibly terrible!!!! Customer service is one of the worst experiences I've ever experienced. The employees are extremely careless. And there's a woman who works there that is extremely rude and sarcastic. The female manager there was pleasant and helpful though. I wish her team was as competent as she is, but unfortunately not. After my door was finally delivered, it was not the best quality offered and it had many imperfections. It was definitely not worth the buy, you're probably better off purchasing a door elsewhere or better yet... Homedepot! If you choose to use this location, I hope you receive better service and quality than I did.
