In my process of sourcing more details about the nuances for a USDA loan, I found reference to NACA on a social media site. Their mortgage process sounded almost too good to be true. No down payment, no closing costs, no mortgage insurance, and a lower interest rate than the current market? It was beyond what I was hoping for and, although I'd heard it can be long and tedious, I could see the worth. I started my application on 4/27/2025, completed the education process over the following weekend and was able to get an intake appointment scheduled for 5/9/2025. After discussing my situation with my counselor and providing all documentation needed, I was able for qualify for more than initially approved through traditional methods! This means I can actually buy a home closer to my kid's school in Chandler. PLUS I feel thoroughly supported in the process, well informed, and excited for the next steps!
