I have been calling Nac Cab since yesterday needing a ride to town for my doctors appointment today that I had to cancel. Those jerks just do not answer their phone. There are only two Taxi services in Nacogdoches and both failed me. I am disabled and can not drive to town to see a doctor. Shame on you incompetent fools. read more

Disclaimer: No, I have not used this service. But YES, I have witnessed the driver(s) of this business driving dangerously and erratically on several occasions throughout the 2+ years I have lived here. Actually, every time I have seen the company vehicle on the roads, they have been driving unsafely. I usually see them on Pearl Street, which is where I live close to. The speed limit is 30 mph on this road. I have seen him tailgating and passing people, some of which are even going above the speed limit. There are children sitting on the curbs of Pearl Street waiting for the buses, or loading and unloading from them. Aside from that, there is heavy pedestrian traffic on this street. It is NOT safe to pass, let alone speed on! I have personally seen the man driving this cab at around 45 mph (15 above the limit) on Pearl St. I believe the driver/owner has a road rage issue, and it has gotten to the point I am tired of seeing him out and about because I know he will be driving without regard to others, as always. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I sincerely hope he does not strike any pedestrians, children, or animals with his unsafe driving (if he hasn't already). read more

First off: We were driven by the owner, he talks and acts like he hates his job. Drives a bit erratically which was kinda jarring. He dropped us off at autozone because our car broke down, he was going to pick up another customer in between our rides. We didn't think anything of it, we took a while in there and figured he'd be back by the time we finished. (Took us like 30-40 min) But he had us waiting outside in the heat for over 1.5 hours after we finished. (He said 20 minutes, he needed to get gas first.) He then drove PAST us over an hour later, we called and he was like "I know y'all saw me, I need to get gas" (what on earth was he doing in the last almost 2 hours???) Literally felt like a slap in the face-- like we were going to be stranded there for god knows how much longer. He then went into a small, half assed excuse about "[she] was way across town..." and so on, which normally we'd understand, but when we first set up this ride he asked us questions about where we were located and where we were headed. I don't buy the excuse when he literally should have known where he was going and budgeted his time wiser. We also got no phone call, no update, nothing. We were literally baking in the hot sun and had to pester the guy several times on his ETA. I hate being a Karen, but I'm disabled, my back is absolutely killing me. Those two hours feel like I've been standing for 12. I wouldn't have joined my partner on this trip if I knew this taxi service was so unprofessional. At the very least I would have brought my cane! There's literally no reason for a simple trip to have taken this long. Learn from our mistake-- do not use this service for round trip. read more

I've used these guys a few times. The owner seems like he hates his job. He bitches about the customers expecting to much. $8 to go 3/4 mile seems like hes doing good. I tried to get along with him but started using uber and Lyft instead. They're the starving artist of taxis and usually fun to interact with. If he's not busy he will be ok but he'll be sure to let ya know everything is according to his plan. I'd try Lyft or uber first and use him as a back up taxi if I were forced to out of desperation. I used this company as Uber is almost nonexistent in Nac. I was hesitant due to the horrible ratings. Our driver Lee was super friendly and arrived within 5 minutes of me calling for a pickup. Maybe other drivers are jerks but Lee was cool. Only 4 stars as it's cash only. read more

Nac Cab drives recklessly. They do not take in consideration for the safety of their passengers/customers nor the safety of the cars and people around them. We were almost rear ended twice due to Nac Cab speeding in a residential area and trying to weave around our car. We slowed down due to a pedestrian who was walking down the street. I am thankful that Nac Cab did not hit the pedestrian as Nac Cab did not slow down nor make any effort to try and go around them. I am very surprised that the person who was walking did not sustain any injuries due to Nac Cabs driving as the only thing they did was flash their brights at the pedestrian. read more

I called around 6:30pm on Thursday and they didn't have a taxi available so I had to walk home. I tried getting an Uber or Lyft and nothing was available. It sucks when you don't have a car here or family to help you out. read more

This company has never let me down. I see bad reviews mostly about cost. The price is standard for cabs. This is a small company so if u need a ride randomly because u are wasted they may not show up. They can tell if u are wasted. The owner may not be charming but he does show up and safely deliver u, and has been professional and does not discriminate. read more

If you need a ride take Uber not Nac cab they don't women driving for or least not this one, three times I called them each time I got the same guy. Twice I was told to call back later to talk to the manager, the third time I was told he'd be thire at 2:00 pm. so I asked for an address he gave me a false address that led me in circles. read more

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.. first I was late to an appointment i had. All the owner did was complain about his employees how stupid they were cussing like he didn't care who was in the cab when I was dropped off I realized I left my phone in the cab when he picked me back up and I said something he became real offensive telling me I didn't have it with me I didn't leave it in the cab only one person had been in the cab from when he dropped me off and picked me up. Once the police were called and GPS was turned on my phone was found .. when I was dropped off I told him to call the phone see if I could hear it thinking maybe I did drop it there was a voicemail you could hear me telling him I didn't dropped i know it was left in the cab. I didn't leave it in the cab how did the voicemail get on there and how did it end up where it did??? read more

I was picked up promptly to go to the pharmacy to get medication for my grandson and brought back home. Driver courteous. would recommend.

i'm honestly very pleased with my experiences with Nac Cab. i'm an SFA student and live just a little ways away from campus, and there have been so many times when i'm running late or there's nasty weather, and i can just ring up a cab and get a ride to school in a few minutes for just a few bucks! here are my favorite stories from my rides in the Nac Cab, just to show how friendly the people are! - all the times i took a cab from my duplex to Wisely Hall to visit my boyfriend, and Sam let me talk his ear off about my relationship and how cool and smart and talented my BF was (and still is!) - the time i went with that same boyfriend to watch the Pacific Rim sequel and we got the same driver to and from the movie theater! we loaded her with spoilers lol - the time i went to the movies by myself, and by the time i got out the bus wasn't running so i called a cab. i had seen Hereditary and was pants-peeingly scared, and in revealing to this new driver everything that scared me, i also loaded /him/ with spoilers - the time i was halfway to campus (i typically walk) but had to double-back to get my homework, and i called+got a ride+paid within like seven minutes. wild! faster, friendlier, cheaper, and cooler than any uber! read more

First and formost, I want to underscore how incredibly greatfull I am for Sam and his business. I am a totally blind college student at SFA and he has allowed me to get to where I need to go for the past two years, for a very reasonable price I might add. I have absolutely no complaints about his service whatsoever. Sure, he can get backed up from time to time but that's to be expected. secondly, I wanted to address a disgusting and defamatory review I just saw from a former driver. The statements you have made are out right lies. You were the one Who wrecked one of his own cars because you were too busy on your phone to pay attention to a light pole on one of the widest streets in Nacogdoches. How can you miss something like that? On pills and weed? Hey, you sure that's not yourself you're talking about? He never asked for the 3000 dollars you claim he wanted. And, he is in fact the legal owner of Nac Cab and is properly insured. The city of Nacogdoches can back this up themselves. you have put this man through enough turmoil and have screwed him over badly. Quit slandering him or consequences will never be the same for you. People like this really need a life and Karma will definitely be coming back around to bite them in the ass sooner or later, that's a promise. read more
